The UK’s prince of R&B returns after a two year absence with his hotly anticipated fourth studio album. Recorded in Havana and produced by Martin Terefe (A-Ha, Mutya Buena), ‘Trust Me’ sees David bringing together a host of musical styles ranging from funky Latin beats to rock guitar riffs and mixing catchy dancefloor gems and sentimental ballads to produce a diverse, slick and stylish slice of urban artistry, which focuses on his trademark talents of vivid lyrical imagery and smooth vocal stylings. Includes the single ‘Hot Stuff (Let’s Dance).’
Trust Me is the fourth album by UK R&B artist Craig David and is due for release on November 12th, 2007. Recorded in Havana, Cuba with producer Martin Terefe (KT Tunstall, James Morrison) and writer/producer/mixer Fraser T. Smith (Kano, Beyonce, Plan B, Jamelia), the track ‘6 of 1 Thing’ emphasises how Cuban musical culture influenced his new work, whilst the ballad ‘Awkward’ features some of his most evocative lyrics to date. Other highlights include the infectious hook and insistent rhythms of the title track, and ‘She’s On Fire’ which combines sublime bass with Craig’s fluid lyrical flow.

Prince of R&B maybe he ONCE was, shame really, i respected him as an artist, but when all he can do on interviews is talk about sex positions, as if he’s new to it… Then you know he’s been warped by the peepz around him. Sigh…

I always thought Craig David was the best in Rnb. None of his albums dissapointed me. And this album is no exception.
