His commercial music sucks and has for a long time, but up until 3-4 yrs ago the stuff he did underground actually seemed to have some street cred with the young ones.
As for where it went wrong he wildy proclaimed after the 2nd album he would go to the states and sign up for puffy d/diddy/pd (or whatever hes effing called these days) but that went sour and from then on he seemed to be in downfall, also the Bo Selecta stuff did’nt help.
Wow, another Craig David video. Can we hope for the French and German versions when they are released, I do hope so.

Who is that Craig David? Is he a relative of Daniel Craig?

Both singers are european, Craig David is from England and Alex Ubago is from the Basque Country (Spain), so this has nothing to do with latin music. The only thing is that Alex Ubago sings in Spanish.
