What is the data transfer speeds though? What is the "LIMITED WARRANTY" mean? What are the things it covers and not? A bit dubious that

We love these new mil-spec thumbdrives. We've been using the 32G version since Nov07. It allows us to run our own OS and apps no matter where we are using TrueCrypt open-source security software that uses AES 256-bit encryption and other security safeguards.

lol @ windows 98.

On a real note. When it means bootable does it mean you can install an OS on it and plug it into any device with a monitor and it'll boot that OS and run appz?

Must be a fake! I have a few made in China, very cheap la!. When you try to copy a huge file the drive crashes. Works fine when used with small file sizes. Go Figure!

I bought a 2GB Sony Microvault from K-Mart a while back. The package said it worked with Windows 98 if you install the drivers. I did and the first time I tried to copy a 700MB video file to it, it locked up my system. Tried several times, and even chatted with Sony's tech support. They had no clue why it kept locking up my system. It worked with small files, but not with large ones. I ended up returning it.
