Corel WinDVD Plus v9.0 Multilingual Incl. Keymaker-CORE
CORE group, well known and popular 0day sceners has released newest version of Corel’s WinDVD Plus 9. Like you can read from its name WinDVD is dedicated to play your DVDs, Hi-Def videos, and other usual video formats like AVI, DiVX and so on. It also have a few more features here and there. IMO, isn’t a 174MBs a little to much for DVD/video player? If you compare that to some freeware solutions with same purpose, WinDVD sounds a “little” overbloated to me…

LoL, have you been living under a rock and still using a 56k dial up or what? Pff
commercial products mostly support nvidia/ati hardware acceleration whereas our favorite free/opensource players do not. Not completely useless if you’re playing back BluRay HD content.
Where was the ‘Windows Users Only’ warning on this one??

The key works.
First you need to select register later. After the WinDVD starts go to SolutionCenter->buy->by phone.
I got it registered, but the “All2HD” upsamling option is greyed out when I run it (even with video acceleration disabled), and all the video controls in the “Enhanced” menu don’t work either. (Though those _aren’t_ greyed out; they just don’t respond to clicking at all…)
Anyone got any idea what’s up with that? The only reason I installed this was for the upsampling. I still can’t believe it’s taken this long for some company to release a software player with upsampling support.
Now it is my turn to say Oh no, not another windows app!!! Guess you don´t linke to read that. So please don´t do the same on Mac threads.

the worst part is that this isn’t even the version that supports Blu-Ray.. thats the next one up. Core could havent given us the FULL feature version as Blu-ray drives are more or less inevitable in PCs now.

When I unrared it, I got all these setup.00, setup.01, etc. files. What am I doing different?
Nevermind, I’m tired, I figured it out. It had no filetype association so I forced it to used winrar to open the remaining files and it worked.

Program even does not start without registering..
Bloated software with the only thing going is the upscaling, compared to PowerDVD this program is simply inferior. For those that want upsampling in their DVD-Video enjoyment i suggest using FFDShow-Tryout w/ Media Player Classic, all the options you need to enjoy high quality upscaled DVD-Video filtered and color calibrated to your taste and display. I upscale to 1080p resolutions,deblock,color balance and sharpen every DVD-Video and Video files in my PC and i assure you that nothing beats FFDShow-Tryouts power as a video decoder/processor along with Media Player Classic as the frontend player.
If you’re having trouble extracting it, download the trial version from the corel website, and proceed with the phone registration. Should work then.

5. It’ll say registration succeeded and will prompt you to save or print to file.
6. Choose whatever you want.

I followed the method given by spyros,it does get registered with the keys provided by core keygen
but still the Video/Audio enhancement could not be used even after the registration(shows grayed out )
Does anyone know,how to enable all2hd and other features?

The key gen did not work for me… I went through this same crap with Corel Paint Shop Pro 11.20 – I had to get a retail based version of PSP 11.00 just to get the Windows Registry cleaned-out. Once I did get the 11.20 version installed it wanted to phone home like E.T., so I had to block it’s spyware with Windows firewall. Maybe these keys won’t work with Vista…
I just checked – installing this file UNBLOCKED PSIService.exe, the phone home service used by the folks at Corel. If you you did get WinDVD installed you’d better check to be sure you’re blocking this service. (It’s in the System32 folder.)
follow this steps as isay..
1.first enter the windvd by click it
2.then right click on the solution center button on the right top corner(2)
3.here u find the buy click on it
4. then click on actviation thru PHONE
5.then copy the KEY u generated using CORE serial gen.
6.then on the next page u will be seeing an installation code type it on to the installation code bar in ur generator remember that their should be no spaces,-, and more importantly the code u typed must be in SMALL LETTERS
7. THE U COPY/PASTE THE ACTIVATION CODE U GET IN THE SAME COLUMN OF WINDVD THAT IT ITS DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you read the nfo properly – you would see that core provide a util to their releases to verify their integrity – you should know better than to just run anything from a.b.warez

Okay, SMALL LETTERS, huh – do you think that CORE might have mentioned that? I typed what I saw, and I saw CAPITAL letters. Hey CORE, the code in your keygen should either accept both case styles, or your GUI should say “enter only lower case characters only”. Nothing is grayed-out while a file IS PLAYING; it works… As with all Corel products check to be sure that you are blocking the Protexis spyware – use your firewall to block PSIService.exe both inbound and outbound, unless you want your install to revert to trialware in 30 days.
still no use i cant use all2hd or anyother video/audio effects while playing dvds or for that matter any video file

ENHANCE VIDEO ENABLE not work on Intel graphic card, only on ATI card. In Corel says that they work on this problem. Maybe in next update that problem be solved. Try update Corel WINDVD.
For all those complaining about features greyed out, upgrade your graphics card!
Cant use crap intel graphics or whatever >.< geez..
