Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 v12.0 Multilingual ISO-CORE

I don’t think this nice application needs any intro, does it? ;) Well known group CORE released an ISO of version 12.0 of Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo.

Edit: This release is different from the post made previously. This release is an ISO, so you can burn it to a CD.

In the world of photo editing programs, Paint Shop Pro has always been the leading alternative to Adobe Photoshop, for those who are unable or unwilling to afford the hefty price of the market-leading product. Originally launched by Jasc Software in 1992 as a bitmap and vector graphics editor, it has grown to become a powerful photo editing and organising suite with a wide range of powerful functions, many of which rival those of Photoshop. Jasc was taken over in 2004 by Corel Corporation, and the new owners have invested serious development and marketing resources into Paint Shop Pro, adding many new features and promoting the product to take advantage of the growing popularity of digital photography and home photo editing.

The previous version, Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo XI, was launched in September last year and has proved to be very popular, so just a year later a new version has been launched, named Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. Apart from demonstrating a limited understanding of the Roman numbering system, the latest version introduces several new features, improves some existing ones, and adds an attractive new interface theme.

    great program… ive used psp since version 7. i also use photoshop but when you want a smaller program for quick editing of digital images then psp has some very impressive features. highly recommended…..

    For a noob like me, i only use mspaint, the gimp and sometimes pixia, for mere simple drawings with my mouse :-S (too expensive to buy a tablet with a optical? pen) I think I’ll try this version of paint shop.

    The application is nice, indeed, but its a total rip off of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, just check : http://x-f.lv/x-files/pics/mac-pics/adobe-lightroom.png

    And no way better than Photoshop. If you think that, you probably cant use him properly.

    Learnt what few graphic skills I have on PSP v4 (maybe even 3) around 1997 (when it was real freeware) & stuck with it through the JASC years until V9.

    It aint CS3 (or even CS2) but the main missing bits are to do with professional needs of color balancing & matching. It’s very good at what it does – if Corel haven’t f..ked it up. Fast, simple interface, good easy filters & multiple undo/redo – just what the bumbling yet dedicated amateur needs.

    Expect Corel have loaded it up with add-ons but hopefully the core ‘ease-of-use’ coupled with reliable image qaulity will still be there.

    when i run psp x2 it just hangs and use 50% of the cpu,

    For the uninitiated – they Keygen / Crack has been included in the image itself. Explore the CD -> go to the folder named CORE.

    you will find a file named ‘CR-PSP12.exe’ double click on that.

    It only seems to be AVG that picks this up as a trojan.

    The other virus checkers show it as clear (Norton, onlike checks etc).

    What’s the score? Clean or trojan?

    I received my psp12 download a week ago then purchased it a few days later. I am disappointed that the filters I used in psp10 don’t work in psp12. I have the dll files required but when I try to use a filter it shuts psp12 down. Anyone ever have that problem?

    Does that mean that the program won’t go now unless I don’t want it anymore?

    I updated this (psp photo X2) because it said that free update is available. Then the photo downloader stopped working. I reinstalled it and everytime now i open the program it offers me the update. i dont want to update because it didnt work last time so does anyone know how to disable the automatic updates?

    To enter the serial code all i had to do was open the program and then close it a box/window popped up and read that i had x amount of days left and two buttons Enter Key or Close. Hope that helps you

    well.. i have sat here and read every comment on this page. i have also tried every single way that everyone has stated on getting the serial to work with all the different codes.. and to no prevail, none of them worked for me. soooooooooooooo.. if any of you come back, please let me know what to do now or if you have a brand new serial number i could try, i would much appreciate it. thank you.. lil_bit_shie@hotmail.com, please email with answer, but be sure to put serial number for corel in subject line so i dont spam ya. hugs.
