Group ARROW keep the game going on this Saturday, here is another work from them, which is “Coraline”. The film was based on Neil Gaiman’s 2002 novella of the same name. It was produced by LAIKA and distributed by Focus Features. Directed by Henry Selick, it was released widely in theaters on February 6, 2009 after a world premiere at the Portland International Film Festival. Again, a standard 1-CD size release with sub, have fun!

PLOT: A young girl walks through a secret door in her new home and discovers an alternate version of her life. On the surface, this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life – only much better. But when her adventure turns dangerous, and her counterfeit parents (including Other Mother) try to keep her forever, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home – and save her family.

    Firstly, it's a matter of taste, just like music. Terminator isn't better just because it's the type of movie you prefer.

    Story wise, Coraline is better than totally played out Terminator. Coraline is also made through a very difficult stop motion photography process which gives the movie a very unique and amazing feel. Coraline is an actual movie, Terminator is just explosions and action.

    Great film kind of dark for a children's film, but that is after all henry selick's style. It's one of those films that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, and not just kids like those disney or pixar films.
