Coraline 3D DVDRip XviD-HNR

Another release from HNR today, this time its the 3D DVDRip of the highly rated animated film called “Coraline”. We had the standard DVD rip of this film about 2 months ago from ARROW but here is the 3D version for anyone that may be interested in it.

A young girl walks through a secret door in her new home and discovers an alternate version of her life. On the surface, this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life – only much better. But when her adventure turns dangerous, and her counterfeit parents (including Other Mother) try to keep her forever, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home – and save her family.

Presumably the 3D aspect of this is the Red/green glasses which mess up the colour? I can't see how my TV can polarise light and diplay 75 frames a second. Shame though I loved this in the cinema in 3D.

Hmm, after a little research the correct glasses for this film are magenta/green. altho Red-green will work to a point it won't look right without the correctly coloured glasses.

Sorry, my bad, completly forgot about the sample video… ok, I used the glases from the journey to the center of the earth whitch are magenta/green as stated by 6.Intr0 and it works fine, it's not the same as watching in the cinema, but it's as close as you can get :-)

  8. not a kids' movie
    July 4th, 2009 | 17:30

This movie is rated as "to kids over 7yrs old" in Finland. It was frightening as hell. I wouldn't let my 7year old (if I had one) watch this alone.

Is it me or was this actually boring… not living up to the "hype"?

No offense, but 16.500 with a 8.0 score? That's ridiculous!

Excellent movie, I watched it in 3D in the theaters. I don't give a sh*t about the hype, and I thoroughly enjoyed this clip and there was not a single dull moment.

Very interesting to see some people calling this crap… I wonder what they consider amazing …

They won't work for this type of 3D and the effect won't look anywhere near as good either.

Yes the Real D glasses (the ones in the cinema) are not usefull here at all.

The 3D cinema experience is a new technology which cannot be replicated on a home TV screen. – Yet

It's almost a bit of a con releasing DVDs in 3D because I'm sure most buyers are confused. This red / green stuff had been around since the 80's and maybe before that.

Having said that this film is probably the best ever 3D film to watch at home so far. Depite current limitations.

Dang. I brought home 3D glasses from the cinema and they don’t work with the sample provided :( :( I might just buy a 3D film that has glasses with it.

I thought that although this film has nothing original in it, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it. It’s a kids’ film, but I love stop-motion animation and thought the film was quirky and easily enjoyable.
