Cops S20E01-02 HDTV XVID-BAJSKORV
The FOX Network kicks off it’s double-decade season of COPS with a double episode premier. The first episode starts off with an exiting bit where an officer reports ‘officer down’ as a black man flies out of his stopped car and fires shots at the officer. When there’s an officer down call, all units in the vicinity are called in to assist. They use a K9 unit to track the suspect down and attacks him. They have so many police officers attending the scene it looks as if they could have a barbeqeue. In the second episode officers attend to an exciting chase on foot, where again, a black man is arrested and detained. What I find some what funny is that the camera blatantly zooms in on his Air Jordan sneakers.
COPS starts it 20th season with stories from Kansas City Missouri, Lee County, Florida and Rialto, California. Stories include a stolen vehicle pursuit involving shots fired; a domestic violence call involving drugs; and a man with windshield glass sticking out of his head, denying he was in a nearby car accident.

Part two of the COPS 20th season premiere continues with stories from Pittsburg; Brevard Country, Florida; and Rialto, California. Stories include K-9 and other officers in the assist of the arrest of a known narcotics user seen with a gun; a woman with a suspended license is stopped and arrested for DUI; and the robbery of a restaurant leads to a trailer park and the arrest of suspects.

perhaps it’s because of the strange coincedence that apparently (i have never watched the show) most criminals that appear on “cops” are black and he’s trying to emphasize on that? doesn’t really show if he thinks that is positive or negative, though.
i do remember one of the guys responsible for the show mentioning in … i think “bowling for columbia” that “cops” wouldn’t appeal to the mainstream if they would show more white criminals.

I loved those first episodes, especially the opening scene in Episode 1. I hope the whole season will be like this. I like to see some guns action

i saw this ep when it premiered. good stuff. lots of copycat shows have spawned over the last few years from cops but the original is still the best. cheap to produce and a practically permanent timeslot with a steady fanbase equals more seasons to come.
