Here is my weekly post of the long-running TV show COPS. There has been some what of a controversy over my COPS posts, possibly due to commentators who think it is me that is racist towards black people. I have never been racist to black people, it is COPS that is racist and is showing racial bias. Because I happen to notice black people being arrested in the first scene of the COPS tv show, does not make me a racist. A racist person is defined as: “a person with a prejudiced belief that one race is superior to others “. I believe that the producers of COPS to be biased, for what ever reason coincidentally or not, they choose to put black people in the beginning scene getting arrested. Since episode 27 of season 19, which I have been downloading, I have been keeping track. If someone here has episodes that go back farther, and wants to contribute to my bar graph, feel free to contribute with screenshot evidence. Anyways, the quality of this episode is great, as it is from DIMENSION.

If the TV show has nothing but black people being arrested then who’s the one being racist … the guy posting the TV show or the TV show itself. I’m sure there are just as many whites as non-whites being arrested in the states. How many people on that show are above the poverty line?… have an education?… can properly support themselves?… Are not abusing some form of drug or alcohol?
I’m sure the bar graph would represent those figures better.

Everybody is racist to some degree, it’s human nature. It’s just that some people are smart/educated/nice enough to step over those impulses and actually think for themselves. If you condemn whole etnic groups you are an idiot, but you’re also an idiot if you ignore problems with certain parts of etnic groups. There are good people and there are bad people, both of every skin type. An example of a bad person is Mr. X, also known as a baiting son-of-a-b*tch!

i havent noticed that at the start of each ep a black person is arrested… It will take too long to catalogue all my eps. But they producers are a bit biased.

Let me say that I am black, and I am so sick of blacks attempting to find fault with anyone as an excuse! No one here is responsible for the shows content. If you don’t like it then don’t DL. Every time I hear a controversy over racism there is always a black accuser and a white victim. Some blacks who have made a living on making controversy, will accuse someone today and appear on a HipHop awards show tomorrow. Controversies surrounding racism are mostly an American problem. Have you every noticed that a dark skinned Hispanic and a light or white skinned Hispanic think of themselves as only Hispanic. I only have two words for blacks who play the race card to make up for their shortfalls, WAKE UP!

if the camera crew follow the cops whose area of responsibility is a black neighborhood, what is the chances of a black man getting arrested?????
try filming on a location where there are no black ppl. if they still arrested lots of black, then that defintely is suspciuous
All the Cops I’ve seen have a majority of WHITES getting arrested, to focus on the first scene of a Blk getting arrested is stupid. Who cares though, Hispanics are the fastest growing minority and I’m sure they will be next to incur the racists wrath.

I remember watching some program where the police sent out letters to all these wanted criminals that they had won some prize and to go to a location to pick up their winnings. So many crooks showed up they needed more paddywagons to haul them away.
How about posting that laughfest?
It’s not ‘racial’ if it’s true. It’s a proven fact that blacks commit more crime, so it’s no surprise to see more blacks in jail. They try to cry racism, but that’s just their excuse for being a low life.
I do agree with you on this one, Mr. X. We actually did a study of this in one of my classes. It’s obvious that the show “COPS” exhibits racism within its taping.
More minorities get arrested then Caucasians. More Caucasians are in law enforcement then minorities. These are facts, not bias or racism.
Perhaps I should say “non-Caucasians” instead of minorities.

i would like to see your source for this “fact”, since it IS a known fact that minorities get arrested for petty crimes due to racial profiling, that whites, do not. you fucking dumbass.
I remember this race war about cops starting and at at one point as mr x carried on making the same comments I thought things wouldn’t change & nearly stopped coming back
But I will commend him on his approach today
It takes a decent man to consider the feelings of others & hopefully this will be the end of all this race shit

Lets be honest, a large percentage of black people are involved in low level crime
the majority of the population in the world are white
