Consequences LIMITED DVDRip XviD-THRiVE

Here’s a fresh new release from group THRiVE. Consequences is the name of independent 2006 thriller which was premiered in limited amount of movie theatres during this March. The weird thing about this one is there are no votes at IMDB so it’s really hard to judge the quality unless you see it. The plot looks quite interesting though, so I’ll leave the final word on you. The quality of this 1 CD release is standard, but with hardcoded English subs on the image.

Consequences introduces us to Max, Jimmy, Norm, Nick and Jason at the age of eighteen. Friends since early childhood, they have bonded deeper than natural brothers. As eighteen-year-old men, we share with them their dreams, loves, and friendships as well as life’s hopes and frustrations. We, once again, meet them at age forty and learn how their lives have unfolded as we experience their marriages, strengths and disappointments. Together they are capable of celebrating with each other their emotions in an open and honest fashion.

The group is together now on their annual football weekend, this year in Philadelphia. While bonding and enjoying the vibrant nightlife, they become separated only to find a darkness they have never known. It becomes a struggle of life or death. The friends find themselves disconnected from each other but ultimately gain a stronger respect for one another than they ever thought possible. Realizing that everyone must pay the price, they all have to deal with Consequences.

Sounds interesting… like a sureal plotless movie similar to lost in translation.

I like to check the reviews at Metacritic.com or rottentomatoes.com if I’m not familiar with the movie. Lately, there’ve been a few that don’t show up in either location. Consequences is one that doesn’t even turn up google search. Not sure what to make of that.

sounds gay. I bet they all kiss each other (not that i’ve got anything against gay couples)

The audio sync problem only lasts for about 20min of the film, and is not too serious.

What is more noticeable, is that the film is extremely bad. Actually it is so bad, that I watched it to the very end, just laughing at the amateurish acting, clueless/cliche-ridden directing, incoherent script, etc.

So in a sense it’s quite a hysterical movie, but not in the way the creators wished for.

There are some “hot bitches” and they do not “all kiss each other,” so both of those worries are unfounded. Unfortunately, this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Just terrible. I had already burned it onto a CD and still insisted on throwing the disc away because I did not want to have to be reminded of this movie ever again.
