Connected 2008 DVDRip XviD-BiEN
I am always a fan of this Asian scene group BiEN, coz they will bring us HK movies with audio in Cantonese, my native language. 
And today another HK movie named “Connected” was pred by them. The movie is an adaption from the 2004 Hollywood movie “Cellular”. I haven’t watched that one before, but right now I will just give a try on this one. English sub is contained. Enjoy!
PLOT: Bob(Louis Koo)’s life isn’t going well at all. A single father in a dead-end job as a debt collector, he’s trapped in a job that goes against his usual easy-going helpful nature and he’s under tremendous pressure to be a better dad, a better brother, a better worker, even a better person. While dealing with all this and his sister(Flora Chan)’s threat to move to China with his son to force him to clean up his act, Bob receives a call out of the blue. It’s a stranger called Grace(Barbie Hsu) who claims a mysterious kidnapper(Liu Ye) is keeping her against her will and begs him to save her and her young daughter. Is it just a heartless prank? The detective(Nick Cheung) he tried reporting the call to seems to think so but Bob’s instincts tell him that he may just be the only thing standing between them and a painful death. But does he have the mettle to rise above his own self-centred concerns and risk everything – including his own son – for two people he has never met and who may not even exist?

Chino123 can you please post the subs too, the movie is fact in Mandarin and while I am studying it, I need subtitles (I can do with chinese simplified, full or English) Please post subtitles.
I think the CN in their release means Chinese but usually mandarin and not cantonese?

Lol, guess I will have to listen extra hard to understand the mandarin lol… if anyone does come up with subtitles lemme know. Anyway, those megaupload links were great, i didnt have to wait after downloading cd1 and weight straight to downloading cd2… normally have to wait for some download limit exceeded thing
ps u can get full dvd Connected (2008) NTSC at asiandvdclub.oom but i have download limit which is why i prefer dvd rip so i can download more movies for same quota lol

Chinese movies are great, I especially like HK movies like Protoge oder Mou Gaan Dou 1-3.
If you just take the time and tolerance to study other cultures and languages, you won’t behave like a damn nazi in here.

normally bien version should be cantonese version…wonder why this time is mandarin…i myself havent dl yet…but others said is mandarin so i guess is mandarin…

The retail DVD comes out this upcoming week in Hong Kong. And I personally know the distributing company who are releasing this on DVD. In fact, I’ve done work for them before. They don’t leak things out early.

finally grabbed it.. As is becoming more common amongst HK movies nowadays, the spoken language is a mix of cantonese and mandarin. sometimes you get funny scenes where one guy talks on the phone in cantonese to some other guy who keeps replying in mandarin.. didn’t look very carefully, but english subs included looks ok so far..
