Its been out a few days now clonecd one works as well but there is no nocd for the 2.01 update for the flt version clonecd version and d-tools and yasu can play the updated version.

the way you play with your resources is similar in coh and wic: the the way you receive your units in wic is less unrealist than in coh (to build a tank factory in the battlefield is very unrealist), but the way you need to conquer the resources to build new things, or even to fire some weapons in certain types of units, offers more challenges in coh and gives you the impression that the units don’t have infinite ammunition. both are good games. far better than c&c 3, for example.

i downloaded Company Of Heroes Opposing Fronts CLONEDVD-PROCYON. i got it installed but when i have a inet connection u need 2 download patch 2.101 and offline it needs a DVD i mounted it with daemon tools v4.10 and yasu 1.4 that didnt work and that crack from FAiRLiGHT didnt work either :s. help plz
Advice – not installed it yet but im sure this is your problem: DO NOT aply patch.
the 1st CoH was based on CDkey protection so if you patched the game you could still play but since Oposing Fronts needs a .dll and .exe a crack is needed for that respective patch.

now it will just run without connecting to site as you have blocked them from your pc it will try media check and goto single player and lan game play mode.

If you got the crack for the update it would need nothing.
Just copy the files over and it will run without anything else.

i didnt install the patch yet but i wont work with that crack. when i am online with that crack u need 2 put in a dvd. i tryed it several times but it would work.

that’s what I did, I got the flt game, the update (btw is there a “cracked update” or will any do?) and the crack for the updated version. as soon as I enter the game it will try to validate my media over and over again.
this is when I applied the other stuff one by one to see if it would help, but to no use.
I even tried to play it without the patch (and the crack for the none updated version ofc)
I’m downloading the clonecd atm to see if it’ll help.
and it seems the crack isn’t doing it’s job afterall if it won’t work? I hope flt will get the report about this and redo the crack as it is some of us that got the same problem

For all getting media violations, here is how I fixed it.
I got the exact same error message. It was because I managed to starte the game once after installing but BEFORE copying the FLT files over the original ones.
What you should do is copy the patched files RIGHT AFTER installing the original, without EVER starting it unpatched.
If you started it first, like I did, you’ll get the media error.
Then you must Uninstall the game and re-do the whole install + FLT files overwrite process.
That fixed it for me. AWESOME GAME, BTW!

so is it we that are doing something wrong or is it the crack that isn’t compitable with our comps? since it seems we arn’t doing things any different from most of the people that get it working. and since it takes some time to install the game it’s geting tiresome doing it the trial and error way.

i had to deinstall vcoh first (the first episode, the first game)
NO NEED TO REBOOT
than install OF, untick the option start after install, than after the install click on finish, NOT “LAUNCH”
patch the game now to version 2101
crack it with flt cracked files version 2101
start WITHOUT MOUNTEDIMAGE, (yasu was disabled for me too),
the game starts, now click “OK” OR WHATEVER on the message “please insert right disk, or no disk inserted, dont know anymore”, and you are now on the main menu
play the game
ONE WARNING – that game stutters like hell.
i was playing the first coh on ultra with 2xAA and in 16×12 without one hickup and thats in dx10 and on vista x64,
now that game hickups every 10 seconds or when i choose another squad, that sux really big time, they have to patch it really fast. allready wrote it down on relic forums..

What I did to get mine working was to install a fresh copy of it, and copy the RelicCOH.exe from the image cd into my game folder.
Then I unzipped the rs.dll file on my desktop and changed it’s name to rspa.dll and copied it into the CoH/rspa folder, overwriting the file already there and launched the game.
Booted up on the first try and works with no problems at all.
(for the record I also used Daemon Tools & Yasu).
FOR THOSE OF YOU HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE 2.101 CRACK:
Remember to put the rs.dll in the rs folder in your gamedir, otherwise it won’t work.

Hey guys, it works just great! Thanks for the help but, I was wondering something. My friends and I use Hamachi, we got as far as making a server and we can SEE it under the LAN section, but when we try connecting to it we get a “Cannot connect to all players” error, anyone know how to fix this?
AGH I’ve uninstalled then reinstalled then tried to install 2.101 update but it freezes at creating dir mrty/mrty.dll the mouse and everything freezes i have to turn off computer and reboot. I’ve let it run 30 min to see if this is normal but nothing.
got update from Gamespot 137mb downloaded it again from different site to see if update was bad same thing.

Means that you didn’t replace the rs.dll in the rs folder ? Just replaced the rspa.dll in the rspa folder with cracked & renamed rs.dll ?

theres 4 of us who tried LAN threw hamachi, and it wont work…
We tried each to setup a server but we cant join the game, we can see it in the lobby but we cant connect, anyone else got this problem? maybe a fix for it?

I can’t get LAN to work. I’ve tried everything from every post I have found.
I’ve tried renaming rs to rsda, leaving the cracked rs in rs folder and placing the renamed rs to rsda in the rsda folder. I’ve also tried not cracking anything and using the close and YASU.
I’ve done the local host thing. I’ve updated Hamachi. Which led to not being able to even connect on lan on other games.
Still doesn’t work, yet people are playing on Lan. Games don’t even SHOW up to connect to. I can’t even see anyone to connect to. Anyone know what is going on?

Sure thing is that the latest Hamachi versions screw up with every game. v1.0.1.1 works just fine. You can DL it from http://www.oldversion.com .With it, the game shows but you get the same “Could not connect to all the players in the game” message.

I would just like to let people know what is causing them to not be able to play on LAN(Hamachi). Through various tests it seems that many people are having the problem of connecting through Hamachi mainly because you can’t host if you are under a router.
People have tried various port forwarding methods, but it seems only directly connecting to the modem is the solution. If anyone has found the solution of hosting behind a router, please spread the word.

I tried packet sniffing while being in the lobby, 0.0.0.0:9101 keeps sending and receiving.
Joining games is not a problem as long as someone who is directly connected to a modem is hosting.

ive been playing the game, but when i reach, on the single player german campaign, the osterbeek mission after the arnhem mission, the screen freezes and does not load the animation. when i press enter i can see the command line used for chatting or whatever it is used for. so the game os working, but i cant seem to play without the opening animation finished— anyone else has this problem?

I have finished both german and british campaigns, and now, ofcourse I’m turning to skirmishes to get my fix.
However there seems to be a problem with the “expansion” linking up with the original CoH. (they are both downloaded)
So, any ideas on how to get a skirmish going pitching the Panzer Elite vs Americans? Or the Wehrmacht vs British?
Any help would be appreciated…
OK now it took me a while and ALOT of forum searching but i finally got it fully working even with the americans and original germans in their with the brits and panzer elite! what i did was first off since the flt version wasnt out i got the clone i installed COH then COHOF and then updated to 2.101 without starting at all. then i got the 2.101 crack from flt put in the new rs file and relic.exe ps(u mite read that flt made is wrong and u should rename it rspa DONT!) i did not mount or anything like that and well thats basically it. it may sound easy or already said but it works perfect except for the annoying continure screen bull if it helps i also installed the game without internet on and did not allow the game access to the net and put the new things into the host file in windows\system32\drivers\etc\ any questuions just ask ill check the forum if u need more instruction
So you made a fresh install of COH (left it unpatched) then installed COHOF and patched it to 2.101, applied the FLT crack and it works for you?
Doesn’t it ask you for a valid product key if you want to activate CoH in the expansion? Cuz it sure does to me…

yeah i did all the steps i ran the game and the media verification came up it said insert the cd i then clicked continue and it was all there in the singleplayer everything was unlocked but it did take a couple of installs and uninstalls and more installs to get it right
i dunno if it will work for everyone im just hopin that it will help some of those people with the problem get threw it

fixed for me… the crack from flt didn’t work for me. i downloaded my crack from gamecopyworld.com. The crack from flt got stuck after the loading bar and exits the game.
- install the game as per normal, do not launch the game after
- patch the game with 2.101 (~137mb)
- copy and overwrite the rs/rs.dll and RelicCOH.exe to your game folder.
- copy rs.dll to desktop and rename it to rspa.dll. replace the desktop (crack) rspa.dll with rspa/rspa.dll
- go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and open ‘host’ file.
- add these below the file, do not delete anything

With what should i unpack the compressed files with ?!? Every time i unpack the files flt-chof.001 – flt-chof.070 with WINRAR it finished unpacking and after that WINRAR pops a errormessage saying that the file is corrupt…
I´ve tried downloading the whole bunch of files a again and again, it still pops that error in the end of unpacking…
should i use something else to unpack them ?
winrar is file, take note of the corrupted file and redownload it. you shouldn’t need to download the whole bunch of files again
At first winrar told me that the WHOLE .ISO file was corrupted, so i redownloaded
a) first half of the compressed files and tried to unpack
b) second half
and still no luck…
then i downloaded & installed a newer version of Winrar and now it tells me that flt-chof.070 is corrupt… but I´ve already redownloaded it 3 times and it still pops the error… :S
If you are having problems playing through Hamachi, maybe what you guys need is create the aliases.txt file. If other people on Hamachi are on a different address range than you, some games will not see tham as being on your LAn (for obvious reasons). So just create the aforementionned file in the Hamachi folder, then convert their actual Hamachi address for local virtual addresses that are in the same address range.
For those of you who just think they’ve read some Chinese, here’s an example. Let’s say your actual Hamachi address was 5.121.50.24 and you wanted to host a game. Then you simply put this in your aliases.txt to convert your buddy’s address to your own range of address:
5.121.81.53 5.121.50.25
Where the first address is the real address of your buddy in Hamachi and the second address is the one you’re assigning to his client on your computer.
That should so the trick… ;+)
Oh, and BTW, I only got OF to work by doing the rs.dll > rspa.dll thing. Works like a charm now though… and I can choose between any of the 4 armies.
Well…I can see other people now. It was the router thing…but now I cannot join any games…

I cant seem to get the skirmish working right. No wehrmacht vs british for example. Only the new armies. What cd-key should I use when trying to unlock this? Should i mount the original cd when it does the media check? Besides this everything works superb but it would be fun to try the new sides vs the old…

help, before installing it runs a test, and it fails on the texture model 1.1 for my graphihc card, and then wont let me install the game?? I can play COH1 fine on my PC with all the settigs set to high. Is there a way around this, as i really want to be playing this game???
I would like to add a comment about this whole Matter you guys are having here…
First of all most of you are telling that you can’t even start the game cause ull get the validating screen without starting the game… My Retailer is From PROCYCON and, I had another problem also above that one .
While installing the game i had COH ( First part ), Without any update, i tryed to run COH OF and i got the message error in the begining of the installation progress telling me that the product i was about to install is already installed. i said WTF ? yea then updated to 1.71 the lastest patch released of COH . Erased the corrupted tempfile that the installation highlighted and then i runned the COH OF setup again… now it worked and it installed the game… that was the first step…
So resume , have fully updated COH 1.71 before installing COH OF , to evict conflicts .
Next , i aplied the Gamecopyworld.com 2.101 patch in order to play replaced the RELICCOH.exe and RS.dll file , it worked perfectly . Game started with the same validating screen but now when hitting on continue the game starts. I did all these with internet conection active , also i downloaded the patch 2.101 from inside the game , it worked , BUt the BIGGG problem here i can’t figure out why is , i Cant accesss to COH content anymore… This means ; No wrechtmark or Americans , Just Britain and Panzer elite , i cant Play the First campaing , just the new ones… Op Market and Caren.
I tryed with almost every patch , every crack , FLT not FLT , Gamecopy world and blah blah blah , Uninstalled with and installed again with and without internet conection , with and without mounted image , with hundred of diferent serial numbers . tried to register the game inside “when u hit on first campaing and ask for the serial” , and Nothing seems to work , If anybody is Acknowledged of this plz Post the solution.

Can anyone connect to other games on lan? And if they have, how did you actually connect? I finally was able to see another person by not hosting through a router, using the clone image and using the aliases.txt in hamachi. But now the game is grayed out. Any help?

Make sure the ports are forwarded and the firewall of Windows is not blocking!

New Version of Hamachi cannot see each other, with Version from above link it works fine, LAN games are shown inside the online browser within seconds.
Well, I’ve played Single player campaigns 1-2 and when trying to play the third, it’s locked, you need to type in another serial, and when using the one for the intsllation it says it’s already used…? And with a message that to play this campaign, please buy the original version. What?!

anyone gotten lan work with comps that none are behind a router? perhaps teh game tries using 192.168… address instead of the hamachi address and that’s why it wont work behind a router?

tried everything metioned here, and nothing works.. I have the Clone version, and the official patch upgrade, and the crack for the 2.101 from game copy world.. this is very frustrating.. I even did the host modification thing. I mounted the disc image using alcoholclone, and do not have any of the other “hiding” tools, Yami or whatever it is called. I just hope a no CD version comes out soon.
forgot to mention, I get the same problem most others have it takes forever at the loading bar screen, then finally, it asks for me to insert my CD, you are supposed to just hit continue and it will go along but it isn’t working. help.
RelicRulesABit- I actually bought the game and I still have the same issues everyone else has. I installed COH then installed OF then the 2.101 patch, with the origional disk in my drive i still get the “insert the OF disk to continue message” all the time, which really pisses me off, and when i finally get the Main menu to load up, I try to play LAN game with my friends, and LAN games show up as Grey, and there is no way to join the game. This is really frustrating that I can’t play a LAN game, and I actually bought the game, I’ve tried Custom IPs, turning firewall off, nothing seems to work. Can someon plz post a fix to the LAN problem, and easy step by step solution. I’d really hate to uninstall the game and reinstall COH, and play without the patch, Relic doesn’t seem to know what the hell is going on, so the only way i can find a fix is through this community. hey has anyone got hamachi to work because what i did is renamed the host thing back up there but did not put the crack on so still i gotta put the dvd in which is ok. i have just had a game through lan works fine need to know on hamachi hopefully i can connect or fine the game.
I tried everything from this and others helps. Single game is functioning with crack or without (YASA, Daemon).
But still I have problem with LAN connection through hamachi. I tried change hosts file, modify hamachi with allias adress, combination with crack or without but still when I want to connect to existing game on LAN – You could not connect to all players. And this problem is with non-patch game, patch game too.
The last want I want to try is unistall game, install old coh, patch it, reinstall OF and I will see.
If I remember correct, during first running of this game it wanted to register on internet or something. I used crack and now even after reinstall it hasn’t this requests already.
Im not sure, but is possible that the crack create somewhere in windows the same account for all players with identical crack? And it could be the problem with LAN game. In the afternoon I will try to clean windows and find this account (at the first I install the game to new computer). So I will se. Sorry for mw english

ok, this is really pissing me off.. so I actually bought the damn game for my kid, and it still doesn’t work.. then I found that it will work if my firewall software, ZoneAlarmPro 7.0.337, is what has been messing this thing up from the get go. I only figured this out after uninstalling the CloneDVD version I was trying to get working wiht the FLT2.101 crack… did everything mentioned here, the rs.dll and rspa.dll stuff, etc.. even modding my “hosts” file as described above. Then I uninstalled and re-installed the real version, using no cracks, still no good, even with my own CD-Key#, then tried it with the FLT-2.101 crack and it still didn’t work, with the damn real CD in the drive!! Ok, final last resort, I just unplugged my network cable then shut zonealarm off.. the game started, still got the message about not having the CD in (and didn’t this time) hit continue and it worked like a charm, now I quit go back to zonealarm, give the RelicCOH.exe launch file full permission to do anything, they call it “supertrusted” and then start it up again, NO DICE. what the F!!! Zonealarm does suck, I have alot of problems with it with many websites.. ughh this thing is really ticking me off… hope this info helps anyone else, and if you have any other advice please pass it on. If anyone from THQ is listening, I will never buy one of your games again, I did the right thing, I bought it and you still screwed me! Now I will just wait for the good NoCD crack for 2.101 and will ebay my original game I bought today.
People I got the final Fix for both problems , Validation and Playing with 4 Armys. Now plz Don’t Skip any of this steps because is the only way to make it worth and work.

1-Erase Every single item from your computer related to COH , COH OF , RELIC THQ… This Means Everything even on the registry , I recomend using Registry crawler.
2- Proceed to install COH . Dont Start the game. Just install it.
3-Update COH to 1.701 , (THIS STEP IS TOTALLY IMPORTANT FOR OUR GOAL)

The trick was not to use a seperate folder for of, it will update COH Version 1.71 in this case.(Original COH folder is selected by default, don’t change it!)
ok guys… I FINALLY GOT IT WORKING, after I bought it and it still didn’t work… I got it working, and now I am gonna sell my orig.
I was post #135 above… so if you are still having problems like I was.. read on…
guys, so I finally tried to install it on another computer and got it to work like a charm with zonealarm… it all boiled down to allowing the cracked executable and the rs.dll permission to access the internet. On the other computer I installed it from the clonecd version mounted, unmounted, applied the official 2.101 patch, then the FLT 2.101 crack, and the rspaa.dll too. Without the clonecd image mounted I launched it and zone alarm warns that RELICOH.exe is trying to access the internet, which on my other computer, I said alway DENY. this time I said always allow, and after that it worked like a charm. I did have another game mounted from a DVD-R the first time, as some people mentioned that was the only way the crack worked for them.
So I then went back to my first computer, uninstalled, and this time removed RELICOH.exe and RS.DLL from the program list in zonealarm. At first even removing it from the list would leave it in… so I just changed it’s status to the “always ask” setting, which is question marks all across for both those items. Reinstalled everything, patched, etc.. then launched the game, zonealarm asks again, I say yes allow and it now works just fine and I still have my software firewall going.
Just thought I would share my experiences since I bet others that are having problems like I was due to similar software firewall issues.
Guys let’s clear few things.When u have installed COH and patched to v 171,instalation of COH Opposing Fronts will UNINSTALL orginal COH and install version 2.100 of COH OF.So any instalation of orginal COH is useless.Other thing.Game really works with cracks for v 2.100 and 2.101 from gamecopyworld,but only singleplayer and skirmsih,LAN not working (cannot connect other players) and for online u need orginal accaunt whitch u create with orginal CD-Key,same like WoW)

But still after loading the main screen, could not get past the Checking media file, which is should be overcome by YASU and Daemon mini images. And could not proceed forward from that screen. Only option I have is to click OK and it keep on checking…. HELP Guys..

Still ain’t working , You are Mistaking… the problems are not the firewalls , the problems was the steps that you followed.
Sigmare i tryed every solution.When i crack game,every thing works ok except lan.Same goes for both version 2.100 and 2.101.Cannot connect other players message pop ups on LAN.I tryed using YASU and image,that also works ok,but same problem with LAN.I have orginal COH and when games sometimes require CD to authenticate,mini image works ok,so there is no problem with mini image.Problem is somewhere else.

Thanx sigmare, but I tried your steps and LAN still does not work. So kindly clear some things for us:
1- R U sure the FLT release installation work for LAN?
2- do you turn on all emulation in DEAMON tool?
3- To play n, which image do you mount in DEAMON: Clone-PROCYCON, FLT, or mini fixed image (from Game Copy World)? do all of them work?
4- did you try running LAN game without the DEAMON + YASU?
5- Does the message “please insert disk” show up on your machines when starting the game? if not, is this a problem?
6- is it important to install Old COH first?
7- does using the cracked “rspa.dll” cause LAN not to work? (on one of my PCs I have to use this)
ppl game works fine for me heres what i did
1 . burn iso onto double layer dvd 2.4x
2. install game
3.apply patch
4.copy cracks into folders
5.copy rs.dll file into desktop
6.rename rs.dll to rspa.dll
7.copy rspa.dll into game folder rspa
8.will say wrong disc in drive clik continue
9works like a charm
10.enjoy hope it wrks

Will this work for LAN games via Hamachi as well?
Also, I don’t think you need to reinstall the 1st Coh…After unintalling, all you need is the CD from the 1st COH when you install COH:OF. It automatically patches you to 1.71. So it basically needs 2 CD keys and the retail key (To unlock the Bedum Map) 4B9E-488D-B797.

I don’t understand. If I install COH:OF i have medium in my CDrom. When should I change disk for 1st COH medium? Why it should install patch 1.71 for COH:OF? This patch is for COH. Is the LAN function?
I GOT LAN TO WORK FINALLY!!!!
After many failed attempts, I found the problem why LAN was not working, it was the CRACK! the trick is to get into the game without the crack. Here is what you should do:
1- Add to the Host file:
127.0.0.1 cohlive-1.quazal.net
127.0.0.1 cohlive.quazal.net
2- Install the old COH to unlock the “old” 2 armies(I am not sure updating is needed, however I did update)
3- Install OF, use either FLT OR Clone-PROCYCON both works fine for LAN (recommend using keygen), and update to 2.101
4- Apply the crack from either FLT or GameCopyWorld, IMPORTANT to keep backup of original game files
5- Run the game once with the crack then exit(to automatically create login), you are welcome to try & skip this step and step #3, I don’t know what happens if you do.
6- Put back Original game files (didn’t I tell you problem is with the crack)
7- Use the “fixed mini” image from GameCopyWorld with Deamon4.1(all emulation on) + Yasu1.4(cloack)
8- Run the game: after the first load screen a window appears “Insert Disk”, hit continue, another window “Validating Media” and then it goes into the game. Sometime the validation fails and it ask for Disk again, hit continue again and keep trying until it let you into the game.
Now LAN works

Symmy you are totally correct , but indeed , i dont know if you people are trying to make it work with hamachi , im running a single cibercaffe lan and still works with the crack however to make it work with hamachi u need to follow all my steps and when u finally validated the game replace the original RS.dll back… thanks for the support symmy , i was guessing something about that but u hitted on the correct spot before i did XD. oh , one more question symmy , did you replaced just the RS.DLL or also the RelicCOH.exe too?
I would recomend to use the real image , than the mini fixed one , also it doesnt work for me i cant even load it to daemon ( the mini one )
I replaced both, the rs.dll & the RelicCOH.exe.
The real image is 8.1 G, so using the tiny mini image (41k) saves u space
and u can put the real image on external HD or DVD
Make sure u r using the latest Deamon version 4.10 to load the mini image
isnt it possible to turn daemon off once uve started the lan?
Actually since 2.101 official patch is NO-CD if you do everything like its explained far and clear in this blog you should be able to play the game without doing nothing more than clicking on the icon.
To get more information , go to relic forums , they explain everything they have done . and why . Thats how i managed to make the game working , also with some comments from here too.

I have some questions, i hope you don’t mind answering.
1.I replaced the rspa.dll in the rspa folder with the renamed rs.dll (Renamed it to rspa.dll)as someone mentioned before. Should I put the original back?
2.Also, I burned the huge image into a DVD9, should I have it in my DVD drive while loading?
3. There are 2 folders. One is the (no-nfo)MDS and the other is the MDS. which one do I mount with daemon?

No caviteno u did wrong :S. read the instruction above.. instead of asking the things that are already explained
ON procycon release u have to mount the NO NFO MDS the other will jump with an error at the middle of the installation.

Simmy and Sigmare, I followed the exact steps u described (using the FLT version). The only thing i needed to do extra was to rename the rs.dll file to rspa.dll and replace both those files to crack the game. If i didn’t do this i wouldn’t even come through the media validation. So i started the game, works fine (but not lan ofcourse). Then i quitted (as described), put back the original rs.dll, rspa.dll and RelicCOH.exe. Also mounted the mini image from gamecopyworld, cloaked with YASU. Started the game again (this is the point that it should work) and the media validation comes up again and won’t let me through :S Seems i still need the crack to come through that sh*t. Any suggestions? Btw i followed all ur other steps too, like changing the host file and stuff..

I thing that our problem is keygen. We used the some key. The last install we used keygen, but did not clear registry. What should we search in registry? Company of heroes, opoosing fortres? Something more?

hmm still LANN is no working. Can anybody call me and try LAN on hamachi with me? I tried everithing. Uninstall game, deleted registry, install COH, OF, patch 2.101, mount mini image, run Yasu and use cloak. game is funstioning, but no LAN. Yasu v1.4.7080, daemon 4.10, all emulation ON. We used keygen for OF.

My friend and I still can’t connect to each other…the game we host is grayed out meaning there isn’t even the JOIN GAME button. We are currently using Hamachi 1.0.1.5. We’ve used this in the COH before and it worked. We’ve run out of ideas…need help…badly.

I can’t even run this FLT version.. It asks for me to register/login.. What do I do? If I disable internet connection it gives me “cannot… media” error. When I install the FLT version, do I run the updates and apply the gamecopyworld crack?

Downloaded the latest patch out but the patch doesn’t work. upon closer inspection i noticed that it just does V2.100 to V2.101. the problem is i have a version V1.0 now what is the problem and is there a patch or series of patches that put Coh:OF from V1.0 to V2.1??

I have coh-of version 2.100 as shown on the screen of the main menu. But the exe file is version 1.7 as shown in file properties. The problem is as follows: i can play the campaigns but i can not play skirmish, no matter if i mount the image cloak it or uncloak it. Can anybody give me an answer: what should i do to be able to play skirmish?

I have the original CoH game(Legally Purchased Copy) and there fore have a CD key for it and an online login.
I now have this copy of OF. I’ve installed it, and can play online fine using my online account.
BUT to unlock the OF content i need to re-enter the CD-Key for OF.

It says something like ‘problem downloading blablabla patch’, and Im not able to run it, or its not even there. Anybody else had this problem, and/or knows how to fix it?

Yeah this one absolutely works! First install the first game (game itself) then opposing fronts, do whatever patch you want and it just asks for original disc but you can push “continue” and play the game…

Oh man, I still can’t get this game working… Ive installed Opposing Fronts, unmounted it, applied patch 2.101, used the fairlight 2.101 crack, and I still get the validating media thingy where I cant press continue… Can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong cause this is driving me crazy.

Im trying to play Company of Heroe Opposing Fronts on LAN, and each time it stays at connecting to the game for about 40 seconds. After that, it says ”Could not connect to all players in the game”.
I tryed patch 2.001 and 2.002 and 2.003 but that do not fix the problem.
note: I do not have internet access on my LAN

Except Hamachi everything is working great. We tested “real” LAN and it worked without problems. But we just cannot get it working using Hamachi…
The host is not behind a router, the other computers are not behind a firewall. Sadly we cannot test the older hamachi-versions since it does update on launching whether we like it or not. We are using a fixed image, no changes to the exe or the rs/rspa.dll and are running version 2.103.
Can anyone here play this version of OF via hamachi?
If so, would you care to elaborate how you´re doing it?

Unfortunately v 1.0.1.5 doesn´t work either….
(of course my friends used this version too)
Works for me perfectly now over Hamachi , i did everything that it said in #178 , it didnt work after that , but then i downgraded hamachi to version 1.0.1.5 and updated CoH OF to version 2.103 then it worked perfectly!

okay i got it working by reading all the posts AND updating windows to its fullest. it might just be frameworks you need but it cant hurt getting them all. btw get all updates not just high priority
I got it working without the crack. The crack provided is only making the game run but the it doesnt allow you to play LAN games locally. Here what i did:
1. Installed the CoH:OF FLT
2. Patch up to the latest 2.101 – 2.201
3. After patching all, download the mini image located on gamecopyworld.com (NetShow-COHOF_MI file)
4. Before mounting the mini image, be sure you are using the latest Daemon Tools and Y.A.S.U.
5. Turn on all options in Emulation in Daemon Tools then mount the mini image then run Y.A.S.U, cloak it.
6. Run CoH:OF, you should first see a pop up window asking to insert your opposing fronts cd, just click continue and wait for it to validate, Then the game should run fine.
* If there is no popup window that will show up when the game started, then you need to disconnect your internet or just disable your local area connection for while and enable it again when you are already inside the game.
- Works for me, i hope that it would work for all of you.

O.K. I finally seem to got it working… Heres what I did:
1. Install the game
2. Add these to lines to the bottom of the host file located at: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Lines to add:
127.0.0.1 cohlive-1.quazal.net
127.0.0.1 cohlive.quazal.net
(open the host file with note pad)
3. Download Y.A.S.U from this link: http://yasu.copybase.org/
4. Download Daemon Tools from this link:
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?mode=ViewCategory&catid=5
(If that does not work then just google it and you will find the download easy.
5. Download the mini image file NetShow-COHOF_MI from this site: gamecopyworld.com (In the search option search for Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, but if you cant find it leave a e-mail and I will send it to you).
6. Right click the Daemon Tools icon near the watch at the right bottom corner of your desktop and go to Emulation and turn all options on. Then mount the mini image that you downloaded with Daemon Tools.
7. Copy Y.A.S.U to your Daemon Tools directory and then double click on the icon and select cloak.
8. Start the game by clicking on your CoH: OF icon.
9: Hopefully play the game.
P.S. make sure that your internet connection is turned off while installing the game

There’s no need for all of those long methods what you only need to run OF is to install the OF game, edit the host, apply crack that’s it got the game running on my first install even with the COH full game included.

I’ve been playing with Daemon and Yasu for quite a while now. I was just wondering if there’s a crack out there that will enable me to play via Hamachi without resorting to the Daemon and Yasu programs? The reason why I’m asking is because when I asked a local internet cafe if they could install the game for us so we can have LAN parties…they were willing to install but didn’t want to install daemon or Yasu in their system.
Hi guys… thx to your tips, combining some of them, I was able to run OF, v 2.2.0.1 fully functional for single player and what more even for LAN game. Thank you very much, for some fellows, I will give brief “how to…”
1 – install Company of Heroes, no crack, no update
2 – install Opposing Fronts, no crack
3 – patch game with available patches (2.100-2.101, 2.101-2.102, 2.102-2.103, 2.103-2.201)
4 – use cracked rs.dll and RelicCOH.exe to run game once, store original files somewhere, exit game
5 – rewrite cracked files with original files
6 – mount mini image, use YASU to cloak DT
7 – run game with internet diconnected or asked connection forbidden in firewall
8 – hit continue and wait for validating disc (take a while sometimes)
9 – enjoy 4 armies in LAN game
Aam not sure if steps 4 and 5 are strictly needed, but just in case…

I managed to get mine to work after getting all those media verification crap. Did just what Helmea said – replace rspa.dll with rs.ddl (after renaming rs).

What I did to get mine working was to install a fresh copy of it, and copy the RelicCOH.exe from the image cd into my game folder.
Then I unzipped the rs.dll file on my desktop and changed it’s name to rspa.dll and copied it into the CoH/rspa folder, overwriting the file already there and launched the game.
Booted up on the first try and works with no problems at all.
(for the record I also used Daemon Tools & Yasu).
replace rspa.dll with rs.ddl (after renaming rs).
it’s ok and i have skiped the error msg !

Hello guys nothing in the posts here dont work for- i can run the game with crack but the lan wont work cus you need an account to log in – i can start the game normally without any crack and get to the main screen when u need to login or create account and when i try to make one i always get the “media validate erro” . some1 knows what is the problam or how to bypass it??

Regarding COH OF ther’s alot of patches. My problem is that wwhen I try to install the Patch I recive this mesage:
“This patch…..but you appear to hae an unrecognized version installd……..log into Relic Online……”

Make a backup copy of your saves only if u want and then delete the company of heros folder stored in my documents\my games. Start the game then exit. Then try to apply the patches.
I get this work with my vista computer but not my XP computer why is that? On XP i don’t even get a chance to press the continue button for validating the CD and it tries to validate by itself and does not accept the CD? And YES my game is cracked and i still don’t get a chance to press continue button…
So using patch 2.300 and cracked versions of the game (two of my own computers), I am unable to join LAN games. While under previous versions, I simply didn’t have the option, now the attempts time out.
Is this a positive step? Should I be looking at network/performance issues now or is it still a sign of FUBAR’d LAN with Opposing Fronts?
Has anyone else had problems with installing this game? I downloaded it, rared the iso file, mounted with daemon tools, the initial screen then came up. I click on “Install” and the “Install DemoShield” pops up as perusual, but then nothing happens. I am waiting for the install screen to show up but there is nothing running even in my process. Can someone help me?

Very Big THANX to all you guys, i was reading and checking these posts about two days and I finally got it working downloading old CoH. here are Simmy’s and Sigmare’s steps, a bit more improved.
1-Uninstall COH & COF:OF
2- Add to the Host file:
127.0.0.1 cohlive-1.quazal.net
127.0.0.1 cohlive.quazal.net
3- Install OF but DONT LAUNCH IT yet, use either “Company_of_Heroes_Opposing_Fronts-FLT” OR “Clone-PROCYCON”, both works fine for LAN (recommend using keygen, i used FLT), and update to 2.201 (should work to older versions too, i tested it to 2.201)
4- Use the “fixed mini” image from “GameCopyWorld” with Deamon4.1(all emulation on) + Yasu1.4(cloak)
5- at “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/THQ/Company of Heroes” add one registry hey, right mouse – new – string value. name- CoHProductKey. then double click on it and add old CoH serial key, for example – CAFE-BABE-ABAD-BABE-132C. now it should look similar to OF entry right above it.
6- Run the game. after the first load screen a window appears “Insert Disk”, hit continue, another window appears “Validating Media” and then it goes into the game. Sometime the validation fails and it ask for Disk again, hit continue again and keep trying until it let you into the game.

I have installed and played the game successfully with crack + daemon + yasu. how ever when i try any of the above method for LAN game play, the game either tell me to download latest patch (if i dont have 2.301, which is the latest patch), or it takes me to the login screen for me to creat an account(if i do have 2.301). i added the Host file entry and everything. but some how it still happens. and we cant get pass this step. any one got any ideas?

hi everyone, i have been reading everyones commentsabout how to get the game working, and to be honest they didn’t work for me, what replacing files and this and that. I instead performed a clean reinstall of company of heroes original, as i had bought it, then installed flt version of opposing fronts, updated it to the latest patch (2.301), then downloaded the mini-image of gamecopyworld and finally, disconnected my internet to avoid the registration and validated the media (only using daemon tools, WITHOUT Y.A.S.U). To get LAN working i then, once at the main menu, used alt + tab to get to desktop, enabled my internet on again and went to multiplayer to host a game which, to me and my friend’s supprise WORKED. Hopefully this works for all of you.
Soz for double post but just simply:
1. Clean install of game
2. Update game to latest patch
3. download mini image off gamecopyworld (NOT CRACK, No Copying Files NESSECARY)
4. Disconnect all PCs from internet playing LAN
4. Launch game from mini image (I didn’t use Yasu, but you can if you want to)
5. Validate Media
6. Go Main Menu and Alt + Tab to get to desktop (windows key + D also)
7. connect all computers to internet that are playing LAN
8. Enjoy your game!

the only thing u have to do is to edit hosts file as i said at post 247. No crack needed, just mount image with daemon tools and yasu and play the game. Lan works 100%, i have Internet Cafe with 24 PCs playing lan perfect and only 1 CD key i used for all my installations.
The 1 thing Relic changed after patch 2.300 is the addition of reliclive.quazal.net to validate your copy.
I have all my PCs 2.301 patch applied and all works great.
So, there’s really NO way to have LAN games via Internet Cafe with just the crack? The owner of the cafe my friends and I visit doesn’t want to install Daemon tools saying that it slows down their system. If this is true that there’s no way to just crack it then, Relic finally made an anti-piracy measure that almost works! Or at least makes it really difficult for pirates .
Update: If you use Daemon tools 4.301 lite, you no longer need Yasu. For some reason its self cloaking or something…
Hi everyone it also works here. Updated the game and installed the old version of hamachi. Also added the lines in the file hosts.
If you have problems with connecting to each other (game is grey) then the host needs to rehost until the game becomes joinable for the joiners. Me and my friends are having these problems but after 2min trying it works

I manage to get the game up and running on two computers, all campaigns show up and skirmich works, etc. I cannot, however, get LAN to work between the two computers. How can I get this to work? Do I have to use Hamachi? Please help.
Guys, don’t make so much trouble:
Look for the “Company of Heroes Opposing LAN FIX ^Tr0nic^” on http://www.mininova.org or on google, then all you have to do is downloading it and instal the patches.
AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, TO RUN IN LAN, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DIFFERENT (repeat: DIFFERENT) serial numbers on each PC or it won’t work.
So guys, I got it to work *with LAN* but not with Hamachi.
No need to download original COH for all factions!
Don’t use the crack if you want LAN working!
Full instructions:
* Install COH OF only => use key generator but take care: I’ve found only one and it’s infected with a trojan but works – it’s best to run it with sandboxie (google it)
* patch up to 2.301
* fix your system32/drivers/etc/hosts file:
add the following lines:
127.0.0.1 cohlive-1.quazal.net
127.0.0.1 cohlive.quazal.net
127.0.0.1 reliclive.quazal.net
* use COH OF mini image to run the game
* enable original COH factions+campaign by clicking on the grayed out campaign, mounting the original COH mini image and using keygen (select “retail store” afterwards)
* from now on use the COH OF mini image to run the game
=> LAN should work now

Me and my buddy can’t see each other’s games in the lobby. Can someone confirm that there is an issue with being behind a router? (actually, Hamachi should work around that!) Or is it only because of the Hamachi version?

4-> After you install the game, it'll run automatically. You can just quit, or you can unlock the normal COH factions if you want – just use the serial numbers.

Anyone gotten the "no crack" method to work on vista-64? When I install… fully update game. DONT patch it. Modify the HOST file and boot the game, after pressing ok for validating or whatever, I get a RD.DLL has stopped working. Looking into it Vista used Data Execution protection(DEP) and stopped RS.DLL. I have an XP comp side by side while doing the install, and the XP comp is up and running. Suggestions for the Vista-64 problem? I tried running in compatibility mode…

hi to all company of heroes gamer. please help, got a problem. do somebody know how to fix and run the company of heroes tales of valor activation? i already mounted the virtual cd and the cd itself but nothing happened. the cd key also invalid.
For COH opposing fronts, it didn't wanna work for me at the beginning, it always said "verifying media" and it keeps verifying until I exit, and it got on my nerves, and then after several uninstall and installs it finally did, but all that was worth it as the game is really good
this is what I did for the last time when it worked :
- Completely uninstalled it
- Rebooted computer
- Installed it from the computer, no cd image, no d-tools no yasu or anything like that
- Patched it to 2101
- then replaced rs.dll from rs.dll from the crack, created and renamed that same file as rspa.dll that replaced it in the rspa folder of the game (I think this is the center of the whole thing)
- then replaced the reliccoh crack (2101 version crack !!)
- finally i added those
127.0.0.1 cohlive-1.quazal.net
127.0.0.1 cohlive.quazal.net
to system32/drivers/etc/hosts
but now when the game finally worked, I feel like I don't wanna play it anymore >_< …
I add that this game isn't available in my country, otherwise I would have bought it instead, wich you should do too.

i am curently playing CoH:OF 2.301 over hamatchi
for game setup i use skirmish mode from main manu (not multiplayer)
then i just open slots for other players
other important condition is that every player needs to have different serial number, having same serial number is making u see game grayed
i dont use any cracks, just mini-image
i am using win xp and i am able to host games for vista players
i think to make it work rigth you need to run the game once with crack then replace crack files with original. that worked in my experience
this worked for my brother, but i cant get it to work on my pc. i think you need to install about 2 patches, crack it, run it, then replace crack with original files, patch to 2301 and it might work. i am getting sick of reinstalling the game over and over… why me
dont think there is anything wrong with DT, yasu or the mini image, just the hell of a stubburn game. got to hand it to relic, they realy made it hard to pirate
