Company Of Heroes Opposing Fronts CLONEDVD-PROCYON
If the previous FPS game offering didn’t float your boat (it should!) then how about an RTS? Not just any RTS mind, a bloody good one. Company of Heroes is an excellent RTS that still manages to stay fresh and unique even though its set in WWII which is a time period that’s being flogged by games developers at the moment. Today the official expansion pack for Company of Heroes called Opposing fronts has been made available to you by the jokers at group PROCYON. This new expansion pack mainly brings into play two new factions the British 2nd Army and the German Panzer Elite each with their own new campaign. This means lots of new weapons, vehicles and tactics for you to get your teeth into.
In typical fashion for this group the NFO doesn’t really include much information except for how to install and play (at least there is none of their typical normal ramblings) which is a little annoying as i think they have left out a few steps. Mount the image in Damon Tools as stated in the NFO and then grab the YASU tool (google it) and activate it. You might need to additionally block the game or disconnect from the internet. That should trick the copy protection into starting Opposing Fronts.
I have also read in a few places that this is standalone expansion pack which would mean that it can be played without having the original Company of Heroes installed. However i can not confirm this. The mulitplayer will also NOT work with the key provided so if you want this feature you need to buy a legit copy. If you are not familiar with game scene groups PROCYON are a CLONE group meaning that their releases require additional programs to get working (in most cases Daemon Tools). A fully cracked release should follow soon to lay the smack down on the SecuROM prot. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that RELOADED will crack it. Let’s wait and see. 
. Anyway you can download and enjoy this PROCYON release and when the cracked version comes you can simply leech the crack instead of downloading the whole image again. Have fun soliders!
BTW i find it a little strange the game publishers would include copy protection scheme for this add on when the original game had no copy protection at all! Weirdo’s…
Update: Some are reporting that you need a real online account to get this working. I’m not to sure. I would suggest you wait until it has been confirmed or denied that you can actually play this release or hold tight for another version.

This is my 2nd most anticipated game of the year next to World in Conflict.
Will there be a 2-DVD version of this? A blank DVD9 is expensive in our area.

It has been said by THQ that this is not an Expansion Pack (Games for Windows, May 2007, Issue 06). This is the second stand-alone chapter. I repeat. This is not an expansion.

Not downloaded it, but it is suppose to be a stand alone game. You do not need the original Company of Heroes to play this. There is a massive patch out though, 1.78GB? Check gamershell.com
Company of Heroes best RTS along with the Total War Series, both alot better than World in Conflict. Much more thought went into these games. Probably buy COHOF too..

I didn’t buy the first one but I think I’ll buy this one. Here’s why:
1. For the online multiplayer (without the hassle of hamachi)
2. Support good PC games. Every PC developer is shifting their attention to Consoles. One of the reasons is that it’s far easier to pirate PC games. I don’t care about the movie or music industry, but the more money put in to the PC gaming industry will help them produce better titles.
3. No Hassle
So is this a stand-alone game?
Yes, this is a stand-alone game.
If it were an expansion:
A DVD9 for an Expansion Pack + a huge patch + the original game would make it a very good but very bloated game.
So yes, you don’t need the old COH installer to play this game.
As far as i know it is stand-alone. Some Polish publisher confirms this on official website.

Works just fine. Use latest YASU + Daemon tools and unplug/disable your internet connection when you start. It´ll do a CD check instead of requiring a login.

anyhow Relic is one of the best companies out there so dissing this game is merely a proof of incompetence.
the bad part though is because the game is so great in terms of visuals and gameplay, you just don’t feel right to play it on medium or low details so it needs a powerful rig to handle everything.

Got it on order. Really is shaping up to be an amazing series is old coh. Have downloaded the PROCYON release to get my play on a few days earlier but having the old issue of getting it running (annoying but i guess they have to do something to protect all their hard work) Disabled net, dl latest version of daemon (which i hate
) and latest yasu but still get caught with the ever lovable please insert original disk. Im assuming it can be got going from what i have read, anyone who has got it running mind telling the rest of us what settings u have in daemon or w/e 
security module cannot be activated, newest yasu + dt, or dt pro. it just doesnt work on some machines apparently.
edit: use yasu 1.4 (not 1.2 available on dt site) and it will work !

My mistake, it launched fine after i installed it… Daemon Tools Pro ver 4.10… Any way i just ordered it from amazon so its a mute point for me.. Reloaded will crack it soon enough

kdsvfsd – people like it, cos it’s the RTS of the year. Amazing grafics and gameplay – people care SHIT about “history” in a game.
Any fuck – how do we get around the securom? I’ve tried YASU + daemon tool, didn’t work, getting “original disc could not be found or authenticated”
Also tried CureROM – got “some security module can’t be activated”.
This version works just fine. But you have to bypass the internet validation.
To make the game work in lan/single player, do this:
Install the game with the serial in the nfo
Then open the folder C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and open the file “hosts” with notepad
Insert the following lines into the hosts-file:
127.0.0.1 cohlive-1.quazal.net
127.0.0.1 cohlive.quazal.net
Then load the mds in Deamon tools 4.10 and start Yasu 1.04.
Then start the game. The game will validate the DVD and you should now be able to play lan/skirmish/single player.
Finished!
Then come play multiplayer on hamachi!

And this game has a flaw – the SFX-volume lags my game :/. If i take my SFX-volume to 0, i have no lag, if i put it on i get TONS of lag.
Just to add works ok even with the update installed but still crashes in the game play played it on high everything and plays nicely.
they have moved everything about and changed everything so you will be confused when first playing and engineers cannot be made straight away and where the f* are the tank barriers gone to.
Still looks nice gfx wise but they still have to close a view of the ground need to be able to scroll out more.

It still doesn’t work for me. It always finds an emulator although I’m using Yasu 1.4 and Daemon Tools 4.10. Then tried it with DT Pro 4.10.0218, doesn’t work also. Can anybody help?

when i try 2 play offline it need a DVD/CD. i tryed it with daemon tools 4.10 + YASU 1.4. mounted proc-cohof.msd and i tryed it with DISK1.msd (crack)… i wont work

Hey guys, it works just great! Thanks for the help but, I was wondering something. My friends and I use Hamachi, we got as far as making a server and we can SEE it under the LAN section, but when we try connecting to it we get a “Cannot connect to all players” error, anyone know how to fix this?
works fine, use #31’s instructions. make sure you enable securom, under emulation in daemon tools. i couldnt get the game to run until i did that. hope that helps someone.
Can some1 tell me how to play? I had vCoH, and then I installed 2.101. I tried #40 solution, tried the no-cd crack solution, and the YASU + daemon tools solution. none of them work !!!!!! AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude, relax and you will get it, I spent over 8 hrs trying get this to work. I will tell you exactly how to get it to work, pay attention.
First uninstall anything on your computer that has anything to do with COH OF. You dont have to do this but for the sake of me knowing you followed all the steps correctly I think you should.
Now, download: Company Of Heroes Opposing Fronts CLONEDVD-PROCYON
Once it is finished extract the files, make sure the .mdf, and .mds file are in the SAME folder, marked Mds.
Load the .mds into the newest version of Daemon tools.
Install with serial included in the NFO.
Download the newest version of YASU from game copy world, this has to be in the SAME folder as your daemon tools directory. (in your program files)
(Important) Make sure you enable securom, under emulation in daemon tools.
2, Disable internet connection
3, Run it with YASU enabled.
4, Insert any media disc into your drive so it can verify media is present.
5, PLAY!
That ought to do it, let me know if you still cant get it to work, that is exactly how I did it.
so you’re telling me that the only way I can get this to work is if I download another 6 gb game, that basically only adds 2 gb of content? That sucks ball if its true
People have got the FLT version to work, I’m guessing that is the version you have?
I spent hours on that one Friday night, and could not get it to work. It might work if you did all the steps above, and made sure securom was enabled in daemon tools, try it. I didnt try that with the FLT version, i had uninstalled it before i read a tip from somewere else to do it.
If you give me more details about what version you have, and what you have done already, I should be able to help you get it running.
H have just gotten of working Heres how i did it:
First of all, its better not to update coh to 2.1 until we get a decent crack.
Install opposing fronts using latest version od daemon tools
After installing, turn off DEP (it gave me the rs.dll error in vista x64)
After turn on both daemontools and YASU
Turn off internet connection
Play game!

I can’t get LAN to work. I’ve tried everything from every post I have found.
I’ve tried renaming rs to rsda, leaving the cracked rs in rs folder and placing the renamed rs to rsda in the rsda folder. I’ve also tried not cracking anything and using the close and YASU.
I’ve done the local host thing. I’ve updated Hamachi. Which led to not being able to even connect on lan on other games.
Still doesn’t work, yet people are playing on Lan. Games don’t even show up. I can’t even see anyone to connect to. Anyone know what is going on?

im talking bout vCoH, and the fact that people are saying instead of dling the patch 1.71 –> 2.101, and then applying these cracks, I have to dl the entire OF, which includes elements of vCoH i already have; its rediculous!!! But then again, beggars cant be choosers
I would just like to let people know what is causing them to not be able to play on LAN(Hamachi). Through various tests it seems that many people are having the problem of connecting through Hamachi mainly because you can’t host if you are under a router.
People have tried various port forwarding methods, but it seems only directly connecting to the modem is the solution. If anyone has found the solution of hosting behind a router, please spread the word.

Joining games is not a problem as long as someone who is directly connected to a modem is hosting.

Install the game with the serial in the nfo
Then open the folder C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and open the file “hosts” with notepad
Insert the following lines into the hosts-file:
127.0.0.1 cohlive-1.quazal.net
127.0.0.1 cohlive.quazal.net
Copy the MDS file so that it is in the same directory as the MDF file. Right click on your daemon tools in the tray, go to emulation, turn all emulation on. Then load the mds in Deamon tools 4.10 and start Yasu 1.04.
Then start the game. The game will validate the DVD and you should now be able to play lan/skirmish/single player.

problem with playing on lan is that you have to login online first to be able to create game,does not have to do anything with firewalls or modems or direct connect nothing works,see i`ve tried game with normal exe file and the game works fine on lan as soon you put crack there you are offline and you can only play skirmish,sombody has to create a crack that will fix this

Ok folks, listen carefully. (well..read carefully)
1. Install game.
2. Install latest patches.
3. Install Daemon Tools (lATEST VERSION!)
4. Download Y.A.S.U and put in daemon tools directory
(C:/Program Files/ Daemon TOols) Or whatever it is.
5. Mount Image in daemon tools.
6. Apply securom in daemon tools
(Right Click icon in tray, click emulation, click securom)
The icon should turn from red to green.
7. Run Y.A.S.U and click cloak.
8. Go to C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/ETC and open HOSTS.FILE in notepad.
9. Add these 2 lines at the bottom (copy and paste)
127.0.0.1 cohlive-1.quazal.net
127.0.0.1 cohlive.quazal.net
10. Run the game, skip the movies and wait for the loading.
11. When asked where you purchased the game, click retail store.
12. It will ask to validate your dvd, allow it.
11. It should allow you to get in game.
NO CRACKS REQUIRED WHATSOEVER. YOU CAN PLAY LAN WITH LEGITIMATE USERS BECAUSE YOU SHOULD HAVE THE SAME FILES. NO NEED FOR RS.DLL OR RELICCOH.EXE!!!
From main menu click on Multiplayer to get to the multiplayer menu, you can host LAN games and skirmish games. ONLINE IS DISABLED FOR OBVIOUS REASONS!

I’m with “someone” (114). Tried helpr’s method countless times, with patches, without patches, and it just won’t work without the rs.dll & reliccoh.exe patch files, however once they are installed, nobody can join a spare slot in a LAN game. Keep going though guys, I’m sure somebody will get there.

“someone” – did you try to rename the cracked rs.dll to rspa.dll and replace it with the rspa.dll in the rspa-dir?… this helps sometimes…

Did you guys make sure you enabled the securom from Daemon Tools?
You also need to make sure you add those 2 files to your host, and to be sure add the game to your windows firewall.
You need a clean install in order for it to work, I haven’t tried a LAN game but I’m sure it should work because I haven’t changed any files whatsoever.

Try this, I don’t know if it’ll work for you guys but it worked for me. First I downloaded Alcohol 120% trial version
or if you can find a crack then whatever. Use it to mount the image onto a drive. Install the game with any serial number you can find. After the installation put the game on the Firewall thing. Then download a NODVD patch and place all the files where they’re supposed to be. Then unmount the image. After that start up the game and it’ll check the computer for any virtual drives or emulation things. It should pass cause you unmounted the image and you have the NODVD patch. It won’t go online cause of firewall so no need to download the patch. If it works then it should go straight to the main menu. Good luck.
Hi helpr, Thanks for your input but so far still no luck. I can get the game to work in Skirmish but still can’t get a successful LAN connection. I have a legit copy with legit serial. Where I am I don’t have internet connection on the LAN I’m trying to get it to work on. I’ve reloaded the game a number of time, upgraded with the 2.100 to the 2.101 patch, then 2.101 to 2.102 patch, applied the appropriate No DVD patches, can start the game and validate DVD, join multiplayer, host a game but nobody can connect to me (and vice versa). I’ve edited hosts files, disabled windows firewall completely, still no go. I’ve tried loading the game in its various stages (no patches), used Alcohol and / or Daemon Tools with securom, used YASU, but can’t validate the DVD (mounted image) as the game detects emulation or just says its not a legitimate copy. Will keep trying and let you all know. Let me repeat, I can get the game running in a single player environment but not LAN multiplayer which is the whole reason for me buying the game. vCOH has been enjoyed by my group for months but we want to progress to COH:OF.

Right, in order to use LAN you must use the DEFAULT files. You need to remove the cracks you’ve put in because the game will detect different files and won’t work on LAN/Online.Don’t use Alcohol for mounting, remove all virtual drives from alcohol and only use Daemon Tools, double check securom is enabled (The daemon icon should be green instead of red) and make sure you added the lines to the host file correctly, I think an alternative to adding the lines is adding the game to the windows firewall, although I’m not 100% sure that this will work.Mount a minidisc image from www. gamecopyworld .com (remove spaces) DONT USE THE CRACKS!! Make sure it’s the mini disk image you grab and mount. Then you must use Y.A.S.U (LATEST VERSION, which only works on Daemon Tools)I know you might not be bothered to, but Daemon Tools and Y.A.S.U must be latest version (4.1 for Daemon and 1.4.7080 for Y.A.S.U) and it WILL validate the dvd properly then. If it doesn’t you must be doing something wrong..double check carefully and it should work, keep trying!

I’ve got further than before but still have to “test” the LAN multiplayer, but I confidence we’ll get there now. After installing using original files, I can now get to validate using the mini image from GameCopyWorld (GCW) which I couldn’t do before. Two problems I may have had.
1) I downloaded what I thought was the LATEST version of Daemon Tools (DT) from GCW but it was only v4.09. When I went to the DT website I was able to get V4.10.
2) A couple of days ago I tried the mini image from GCW but couldn’t mount it. Maybe the image was corrupt or I was using the wrong version of DT.
Using your instructions I reinstalled, repatched, loaded up latest DT & YASU, downloaded mini image again. Now I can start the game and validate the game.
Since I don’t have anyone to test it with for a few more hours, I can only assume that we’re on the way again as I’ve gotten further than I have previously using CRACKED files.
The step by step I used is as follows (with thanks):
1. Install Daemon Tools V4.10
2. Install YASU.exe V1.4.7080 into the c:\program files\Daemon Tools directory. Create desktop shortcut.
3. Edit c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts using Wordpad or the like & add the following entries:
127.0.0.1 cohlive-1.quazal.net
127.0.0.1 cohlive.quazal.net
4. Mount the game image using Daemon Tools and install.
5. On completion, Unmount image.
6. Apply patches, 1) EN(AUS)_2100_2101_Patch.exe and 2) EN_2101_2102_Patch.exe
7. Copy the COH_OF_Mini_Image to your HDD
8. Mount the Mini Image using Daemon Tools (NOTE below)
9. Apply the “Emulation > securom” . Daemon Tools in icon tray goes green.
10. Start YASU (NOTE below).
11. Click “Cloak”. YASU in icon tray goes green.
12. Start the game.
13. When asked to insert the disk, press continue.
14. Game will be validated.
15. Play the game
NOTE: Make sure you’re using the correct version of Daemon Tools & YASU or it WON’T Validate.
Mini-image won’t work, it says: Emulator Detected! Shut it of and try it again.
Danny, Mini Image will work, I’ve had it ruuning, follow the steps in the post above. Make sure you have the right versions of Daemon Tools & Yasu.

YoMama, I think to get the original races you need the vCoH image…I don’t think there is a mini image around so you will have to torrent an ISO of it and mount that with Daemon Tools.

YoMama, I activated the original armies on my COH:OF install by burning the vCOH ISO image to DVD and placing in the local DVD drive. You need the original image and a separate serial number for vCOH or it won’t work. I never tried mounting with Daemon Tools so I don’t know if that works, probably would though.

Yomama maybe u have the latest avg antivirus if u do dellete it. it was my problem when i couldnt vaild the media.
So, to sum things up, people like me who are not going to bother with image mounts and the ridiculously long list of stuff to do in order to play over Hamachi are screwed. We can only hope that one of the release groups will come up with a fully functionnal crack instead if the botched-up crack that’s available at the moment.
Well, time to go back to good old CoH v1 then… it could be a while at the rate things are going.
If you can’t/won’t do this procedure, than you could buy the original one, don’t you think?

i have COHOF stand alone. i inserted the disk. installed the game with given CD key. but now when i start up the game it keeps asking me to insert the disk. (the disk is inserted) and then says that “media cannot be verified”.
Is there a patch that i need to play COHOF stand alone if so please help.

after spending days and nights making this game fully work…. finally!!! I’ve done it….. but you will be needing the company of heroes cd(not the opposing fronts just the first one)…..
here’s the step by step setup… (pls. properly follow the instruction to make it really work)
1. if you already installed the coh or the opposing fronts(any of the two), uninstall it entirely from your computer…… removed the coh folder on my documents\my games………
2. then install again the coh opposing fronts…. (no need to install the first coh)……
3. then after installing it apply the latest patches of coh opposing fronts………. then download the file from #55…..
4. then follow the instruction inside this zip file……. like installing the latest daemon tools and copying the yasu 1.4 from it to the daemon tools folder, and like editing c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts using Wordpad or the like & add the following entries:
127.0.0.1 cohlive-1.quazal.net
127.0.0.1 cohlive.quazal.net
5. then after doing that…… run the game….. (don’t forget to disconnect from the internet!!)
6. after passing from the validating media you need to click the locked campaign which is invasion normandy(this campaign is not a locked third campaign from coh opposing fronts this is just the campaign from the first coh) but you will need this to unlock the american and nazi from the skirmish\lan game…..
7. then you will be asked to insert a key to unlock it…… enter your first coh cd-key there (if you haven’t had one look for a keygen of company of heroes from the internet)….. then you will be asked if where have you gotten your coh copy…. now click retail store…. then you will be asked again to insert the first coh disk… then insert it….. press the button then….. you’ve now unlock the first coh… making the game full version……..

This is so frustrating, i have original copy of game and i installed 2.101 patch. Now i can’t even get inside single player campaign, always same “validating media” message after game loaded. Think i will give up, and throw this DVD in some hole…!!!

hey guys I had the original COH installed but COH OF won’t let me play as the original american or german armies… I had the same install set up on my other comp and it would let me use all armies… but for some reason this one hates me. any hints?

got it working by doing all that stuff they said but you also need to update windows to its fullest. it might just be frameworks you need but there is no need not getting them all not just the high priority ones

After 3 hours I have finally managed to run the game yaaayyy!!!
I have FLT version of game so non of those things described earlier (with daemon tools and YASU) didn’t work for me.
I have copied rs.dll and RelicCOH.exe into the game directory but this didn’t work.
Then I renamed rs.dll into rspa.dll and copied it into rspa directory.
And the next time I tried to run the game it WORKED!! Yaayyyy
I wasn’t online.

I can’t unlock the “invasion of Normandy” in Opposing Fronts. I got a 21mg mini image of COH from gamecopyworld.com and mounted it with daemon and used yasu. But when I try entering 1337-baad-f00d-1337-f9cf product key I receive this: “Faile to add the key. This account already has a product key for this product.” and when I use CAFE-BABE-ABAD-BABE-132C key it says “Could Not Verify the Media” Is there any way around this? Please help.

cloacked DT and activated securerom
finally, I started the game, still it kept bugging me for an inserting of the cd/dvd.

how do i play with ppl on LAN (rather Hamachi) using 2.301 patch. I tried to validate by change the host file…… and i can do it if the network connection is closed… but if its open (for Hamachi) it goes thru the whole process and i cant validate via account creation…

i got coh 2.202 working succesfully. with all four factions. you dont need to download any crack or patch, it will not work on lan or hamachi. instead follow the steps below.
1. download cohopposing front PCDVD version from thepiratebay.org. i have tried procyon version, but it does not update to higher patch.
2. once you installed, do not run the game. the downloaded PCDVD version will be 2.100.
download the following patches and update to 2.202 one patch at a time

you also need daemon tools 4.10 version to mount the mini image.this mini image will not work above 4.20 version of daemon tools.
3. mount the miniimage with daemon tools
4. run yasu and cloak drives.
5. block the following relic online server ips using your router firewall.

if you dont block, it will try to connect to reliconline.
6. add the following entries to your host file which is in path below
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 cohlive-1.quazal.net
127.0.0.1 cohlive.quazal.net
7. now run the coh game and it ask to insert dvd and then click ok it will proceed. this will work on lan as well hamachi also.
8. use only 1.0.1.5 version of hamachi to play this game. first start the game and click multiplayer game. then press alt+tab and then launch hamachi . once logged in with hamachi, alt+tab again and come back to game and play over hamachi.
IS ALL OF THIS WELL WORK IN 2.301???
Simple as this:
Install the game, run it once with the crack to create a log-in or do the <host> file modification.
but most important, to run on LAN,
MAKE SURE YOU USE DIFFERENT SERIAL NUMBERS!

Opposing Fronts: Invasion of Normandy campaing
If some 1 have problems to play Invasion of Normandy campaing in OP, try remove(delete) COH folder in C:\Documents and Settings\User name\My Documents\My Games. And then just start the game.

regarding to playing over hamatchi:
i am curently playing CoH:OF 2.301 over hamatchi
for game setup i use skirmish mode from main manu (not multiplayer)
then i just open slots for other players
other important condition is that every player needs to have different serial number, having same serial number is making u see game grayed
i dont use any cracks, just mini-image
i am using win xp and i am able to host games for vista players
