A very known movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger is here by group FRAGMENT. It has been a long time that an old DVDRiP appeared here on Releaselog, just a few HD oldies by Bram. It’s a classic Schwarzenegger film and I think that many have seen it. Some people would like to watch it again and some just to add it in their movie collection. The quality looks good and the group includes English, Spanish and French subtitles. Enjoy!
Colonel John Matrix is retired from the army, and he’s living in the mountains of California with his 11-year-old daughter Jenny. Jenny is kidnapped by Bennett, one of John’s former soldiers. Bennet’s boss, exiled Latin American dictator Arius, demands that John assassinate the president of Arius’s country so Arius can reinstate himself as dictator.
John is put on a southbound airplane with a guard, but before the airplane can take off, John snaps the guard’s neck, jumps off of the airplane, and sets out to locate Jenny. While John is tracking down Arius and Bennett, John enlists the help of a young woman named Cindy. As John and Cindy close in on the island where Jenny is being held, they are confronted by hordes of men who work for Arius and Bennett. But John is willing to do anything to rescue Jenny…even if he has to start a one man World War III.

muahahahaha! this is fuckin hilarious. I mean this movie’s Lulz Factor is OVER 9000, easily. I’ll download it just for the lulz. The oh so funny jokes of Arnold, and the whole impossibility of many of the scenes in this movie make it a fuckin classik.
Like the scene where the protagonist is rushed by like 30 cops at the mall and he just beats them all up. Or when dude rips out the frontseat of the convertible so he can fit in. Fuckin A.

One of the best movies ever made. I wonder if more people die in Director’s Cut. I actually counted number of people killed in this movie once, I had to estimate it in some places (explosions…)

The original UK cinema and video versions were censored by 12 secs in the scene where Arnie hides out in a garden shed. We no longer see him chop a man’s arm off with a machete. There was also a brief cut in the final showdown, where a tracking shot of a pole in a man’s stomach has been removed (the UK laserdisc version however was uncut). Bizarrely the 2001 DVD release retained all the previous cuts and also added a further 26 secs of distributor edits, editing most of the violence in the action scenes and heavily shortening the deaths of Bennett and Cooke. The cuts were fully waived in 2007 by the BBFC.
Man i used to love this movie when i was 7! Now i know it’s a retarded piece of crap, through.
What about when Arnie is interrogating a guy by hanging him over a cliff and after getting his answers, drops him to his death. Arnie comes back to his car and the sidekick girl asks “what did you do with him?”
Arnie replies “I let him go.”
Quality shit! Ha!
BTW if Arnie was President, the US wouldn’t need more troops in the Middle East – he could handle it on his own, nae bother.

I haven’t watched this yet, but I had a release of it on my hard drive Commando.1985.PROPER.DVDRip.XviD-VH-PROD. This one will be replacing it.

And the difference between the Theater release and this version is less than 60secs of added scenes.
The original movie, including end titles, is 90mins long. Runtime of this version is 91mins long including the end titles.

This release of a Director’s Cut is completely pointless in my eyes. It doesn’t add more to storyline and I know it is an action movie so there’s very little of that anyway.
If it was a Director’s cut release like The lord Of Rings where add least 30mins of new storyline was added per release then I would say go for it but this doesn’t give anything extra. Well a few secs of more blood and gore but that’s it.
The action is good enough for its time but in the end it’s only a very average movie and this release doesn’t change that.
If you don’t have this movie then click fast on the Torrent link to add it to your collection of ripped movies but if you already have it then I wouldn’t waste my bandwidth on this Director’s cut. You are free to disagree with me and by the looks of all these posting enough will disagree with I just wrote.
Classic movie. A whole army shoots at him, but not a single bullet can hit him while he’s out in the open shooting bad buys by the dozen.
