Looks like RELOADED have just released a fix because there was a file missing from the original release.

Notes from NFO: We’ve forgot to include an important file in our initial release. Ooops.

    Uhhh. Why would this be needed? It’s just 2 copies of the same TGA file, titled “grass.tga”, some weird black stuff when you open it, theres no file in the Red alert 3 dir to replace this with and seems kinda useless cause RA3 runs without it. Same with the crack included in the reloaded release, tons of useless files, you only needed ra3_1.0.game. Maybe I’m missing something?

    nop.. ur right 7.. i figured all those another files were some funky joke reloaded made at ea.. well and added that hot chick to background ? i imagine.. as i used just ra3_1.0.game file only..
    but i cant explain wth is grass ? have to do with this.. well gona play same.. and will see if something is wrong

    My fella downloaded the earlier posting of C&C-RA3 by Reloaded and he says there doesn’t appear to ve a problem with it. What is the fix exactly?

    regardless, this game is near-garbage. The budget and focus was placed WAY too much on the videos and not on the game itself. I am a huge fan of C&C and the Red Alert series since 1996 when i was 12. Red Alert is meant to be “campy” making fun of the game but it also had a good story line that included Joe Kucan tie’ing with C&C a little.

    It looks like the developers were forced to play through RA 1 and 2 and just try to take as much as they could from that game and transfer it to RA3 without an understanding or appreciation of why the game was the way it was. The graphics are garbage, the 3d-renders of all the buildings, units and infantry could have been done a lot better. The engine almost looks worse then C&C3. The game is kinda fun in the beginning but the strange units really arent that great for a “chess like” match between opponents.

    Also the Chinese empire i think was the most ridiculously done, i dont know why they decided to put anime figures in this game.

    They did NOT say “Replace the file because the one in our initial release is wrong”, they said: there was a file MISSING! So you put it in the game folder and that’s it, nothing to be replaced.

    It’s to do with the game prompting the update screen. You can either CTRL+ALT+DEL to load up task manager, then load another program and CTRL+TAB back into RA3 or use Windows Firewall (Advanced Settings) to block ra3_1.0.game from accessing the internet.

    Based in ny prev experience I can tell, all the RA games can be played in ripped version and that does not affect gameplay much. So I’ll rather wait for a Skullptura/Dopeman release which will surely be less than 1 DVD to DL.

    ViTALiTY haven’t pre’d anything about Command And Conquer Red Alert 3. That’s 100% sure.

    The release that you saw in thepiratebay.org (and maybe other sites) is fake. And also many say that has the same crack with RELOADED release.

    Heh. No 1.01 Crack when 1.01 patch was released even before the game was… plus they screwed up at least once on the crack with a simple missing file. Makes you wonder what else they did wrong. Bet we won’t see a 1.01 crack or later from Reloaded ever… I smell another Mass Effect drama coming up. They never did release a fixed crack after their failed one for 1.0 or 1.02 on that one.

    The fix fixes an crash issue that occured when you finished some mission on Soviets and Allies. SO YES THIS DOES FIX THINGS. I was one of the unlucky people who experienced these crashes and I don’t think reloaded would create a fix just they could make another joke…….right?!? =)

    This fix does nothing! Game still shuts down after mission completes. And what is with ‘grass’ that appears in several fix downloads?! What is the actual file name and has it worked for everyone that has downloaded the ‘missing file’?

    yeah i’m looking for a 1.03 crack too, i really want to update the game from 1.00 so the lag in the main menu goes away and such.
    so if anybody finds a crack, please share (i have been looking myself but i couldn’t find it >_< )

    thanks for that crack, but after patching and applying that patch it brings the game back to 1.00 so it doesnt really help… at all :P is there a crack that keeps the game on 1.03?

    Meranor ur right , i think this crack is just a renamed ra3_1.0.game i just checked the file size and in game it reports 1.00 so it’s crap :S i got it from usenet thought it was ok… guess not.

    hey!
    i download ra 3 and installed it. when i try to open it, it asks me some other confirmation code that they’ve send to my e mail they say. since i haven’t give any mail during the installation i wonder what might that code would be? i’ve tried keygens but apparently it not the solution? does anyone know what to do..

    Got the same problem like tunc @ 89
    EA bug :) on many Original Boxes they printed only 19 digits not 20, after the patch i cant run the game, need a KEY keygen codes arent working.

    Any ideas? Thx
