College PROPER DVDRip XviD-ALLiANCE

Here is a PROPER release of a 2008 comedy film “College”. According to ALLiANCE, the PROPER reason is that previous release was mislabeled, which should be R5 source, and this one is retail source. I personally don’t know much about this movie, and the rating doesn’t seem good either, so check it out if you like this type.

PLOT: After Kevin, a high school senior, gets dumped by his girlfriend Gina for being too boring, he doesn’t want to go to the freshman orientation weekend at Fieldmont University, where they had planned to go together. But his best friends Carter and Morris convince him that the weekend away will help get his mind off her. Once there, one of the rowdiest Fraternities and sororities fraternities on campus pretends to recruit them as pledges in return for granting them access to the college party scene. Though forced to put up with the disgusting antics of fraternity brothers Teague, Bearcat, and Cooper, the guys meet sorority girls Kendall, Heather, and Amy, and sparks fly. But once Teague feels threatened by Kevin’s new relationship with Kendall, he takes the pre-frosh humiliation to a greater level, forcing the guys to decide to fight back.

    @6….I have the same problem with convertXtoDVD..it’s always out of sync…

    Usually I use Nero and it’s always great quality..the only problem is that Nero doesn’t take those mkv files.

    @Matt
    theres no need to reply like that. he was asking a general question about burning a movie to a dvd, and he did reference both the scene and the non-scene release on that post, so no need for the rudeness
    @slu
    i think richard1970s was trying to burn the divx so he can watch it later on his tv probably. so vlc wouldnt work for him in that way, although it would obviously be useful if he was watching it on his computer

    @richard1970s
    i dont usually burn the movies on dvd to watch them on my tv, but thats because i have a divx dvd player, which really helps, since you can put up to 6 movies on one dvd and watch them all, and it takes only minutes to burn. but one time that i had to burn a divx as a dvd for a friend of mine i used nero vision, it comes in the nero package, it gave quite enough options to modify the main menu for the dvd. i know, nero is bloatware, but this was useful, no sync problem, or anything like that. i havent used convertXtoDVD or xilisoft dvd creator, so i cannot tell you anything about them, but if you want to try something else if it will work ok, then try nero vision. hope i helped

    i had one more thing to say, these questions do come up quite often, so it would be a good idea to provide a how-to for ppl so they dont ask these questions on the boards. maybe a forum would solve that as well? hehe, i understand that a simple google search would work too, as im sure that question has been answered many times on other websites. i do understand theres an irc channel, but ive never been there so im not sure if that would be the type of forum where these questions would be asked. just my 2 cents

    @6 Richard1970

    well you could use Avi2dvd,as it is the most ‘noob’ friendly program i can think about now plus it is FREE, but your problem sounds like a source (that is the movie data itself) problem.

    axxo rerips most of his release from other groups so i guess his version is the same source as Arrows.

    and if you want to get technical try a program called VirtualDub.

    and final test if it is your dvd player is the problem as burned dvd sometime dont play very well in some DVD players.

    so happy burning

    Actually ConvertX is the best program to use, I’ve never encountered an out of sync problem with it. As a matter of fact it has always corrected the problem for me when the AVI I would convert was out of sync

    This movie is actually a lot of fun to watch. I wouldn’t spend $20 for it (but I wouldn’t spend that for any movie).

    If you use any converter I use Convertx2dvd.
    check the High encode setting
    use the realtime setting
    close all applications
    * I use a Quad core 6600 clocked to 3.2ghz CPU so i do other things during burning.
    GET THE FASTEST QUAD CORE CPU YOU CAN AFFORD
    and a Fast hard drive

    I also run Windows x64 gamers edition with 8gb ram (Vista is junk and XP 32 only supports 4gb)
    rip or transfer from on hard drive to another not to the same drive or I also use a 1.5gb ramdrive where I put the source files then convert to the hard drive – much faster

    when burning try to burn at 8x or less
    and some DVD players will only play if you burn them at 4x

    I find the cheaper name brands read DVDs better then the name brands like Sony and Samsung
    I use a Liteon DVD recorder i got a year ago for $79 and it plays and records everything AVI photos DVD etc.
    but a player can be found for $25 and up
