Collective Soul – Afterwords (Advance) (2007)

Here is the advance album of Collective Soul’s forthcoming album “Afterwords”. The album will be released out next week but if you cannot wait to listen to it then here is your chance.  Collective Soul is an American rock band having seven of their singles reached the #1 position on the mainstream rock tracks chart. Their music is characterized by heavy guitar riffs and catchy melodies. Their lyrics are generally spiritual and thought provoking in nature. Enjoy!

Collective Soul’s seventh studio album, Afterwords is scheduled to be released on August 28, 2007. The album is co-produced by Anthony J. Resta (Duran Duran, Shawn Mullins, Satellite Party ). The band has made a deal with Target stores, making it the “exclusive physical retailer” for Afterwords. The album will also be available in digital form on iTunes. The song “Hollywood” was released as the first single in May.

    Collective Soul is the best band and so far I love the two songs I’ve heard from Afterwords, Hollywood and New Vibrations which is the song playing when you go to CollectiveSoul.com

    And yes the band is from Stockbridge, Georgia. They are American.

    Oct 6th they are playing in Council Bluffs, Ia with LIVE. This will be the 4th time wife and I will be seeing them. 1st time: Knoxville, TN, 2nd time: Louisville, Ky, 3rd time: Omaha, Ne they opened for Creed, and now, with Live next Saturda. I guess you could say, we like them! =)
