Cocaine Cowboys LIMITED DVDRip XviD-SAPHIRE

An other interesting documentary appeared today called “Cocaine Cowboys”. It’s a docu about the cocaine distribution over the last decades. The true story that inspired “Scarface” and “Miami Vice”. Looks interesting, has good reviews and high rating. Enjoy!

The cocaine trade of the ’70s and ’80s had an indelible impact on contemporary Miami. Smugglers and distributors forever changed a once sleepy retirement community into one of the world’s most glamorous hot spots, the epicenter of a $20 billion annual business fed by Colombia’s Medellin cartel. By the early ’80s, Miami’s tripled homicide rate had made it the murder capital of the country, for which a Time cover story dubbed the city “Paradise Lost.”

With “Cocaine Cowboys,” filmmaker Billy Corben – whose first feature “Raw Deal: A Question Of Consent,” was a sensation at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival – paints a dazzling portrait of a cultural explosion that still echoes as Hollywood myth, evidenced by the latest manifestation, NBC/Universal’s “Miami Vice.” Composer of the original “Miami Vice” theme, Jan Hammer, provides the score.

Review by Kevin

I saw the screener, or what ever, a few weeks ago and I must say this is one of the most interesting documentaries I’ve ever seen. It’s about Miami’s drug past with crazy Colombians and other South-American countries corrupting Miami and turning it into a modern wild west. This is definitely a must see for anyone interested in the real background of Miami that inspired Miami Vice and Scarface. I guarantee you you’ll be shocked! Did you think Scarface was a little over the top? Think again, it’s nothing when compared to what really happened. Not recommended for everyone though, there will be some pretty disturbing photographs and stories.

It’s good, but it’s like a documentary, not a movie.
But yeah, very Scarface and Miami Vide realted.

I did like it, but you got to do something else while watching it or you’ll end up bored.

no saulo its really interesting goes in to the details of cocaine traffickers from columbia and cuba in to miami in the 1980’s a time when Miamai was literally the most dangerous place on earth.

It harks back to the era of scarface and its more interesting than most movies especially fairy tails like blow.

Ok, so, i found out everything.

The torrent is on this site:

    http://www.acetorrents.net

and the rarfix mike mentioned abova is also on this site.

Free registration required, otherwise the torrent won’t work.

and, clock2113, this thread is useful because the torrents are on this site:

    http://www.acetorrents.net

but the quality is not so high, seems a vhs rip, maybe a tv rip.
