Actually, they DIDN'T BUY the account at all.

They employed James Cox as a consultant and therefore gained control of it through him. It's subtle difference, but a difference nonetheless.

twitter isn't all that bad. It's not as annoying as facebook or myspace. If you want to talk to people or just get to know someone without actually meeting them it can be good for that.

Screw Twitter.. and Ashton too. I'm happy to say.. that I have NEVER viewed a single Facebook page, nor a MySpace page, I can count the number of YouTube videos I've watched on both hands.. and I could care less what famous or infamous people are doing when they're sitting on the can. I have this thing I'm involved in called "MY life".. I could care less about others.. except in a charitable sense. Which brings me to my original thought.. only 10,000 mosquito nets Ashton? Cheap bastard.. what's that cost you?.. about $10K?

Ted Turner gave his first billion dollar donation away.. in one shot.. almost before you were born Ashton!.. and since then.. he's given away more countless millions to charity. I hope CNN wins you putz.
