Hey everyone as most of you know Summer Holidays are comming to an end and with that i (and most of the other editors) have been crazy busy with the new term. Thus i have not posted something on rlslog for almost a week now. I’m sure you can understand. I will continue posting on rlslog but not as often as i was during the summer months. Anyway here’s a new adventure game from RELOADED! The graphics look great but they might be pre-rendered static backgrounds. Still have fun, peace out!
In this adventure game, the player will be plunged in the tormented period of the Antique Egypt. He will have to help the young new queen: Cleopatra to take the good decisions for her Empire and become the queen of kings. His quest will lead him through Alexandria and all its mythic monuments like: the Library or the Lighthouse of Alexandria.

A 3D main menu – WOW, made my Radeon shake and sweat !
Dialog boxes – good, because you definitelly need them in an adventure game ! Oh wait… Or ancient egyptians spoke in heroglyphs ?
A help system – yes! when I don’t know which mouse button – a must have.

Good to see more point and click adventure games there is hardly any available anymore. The last one I played was the last Broken Sword title and even that was a little disappointing.
Hi James, not too long back i tested out Secret Files: Tunguska.. so far it doesnt seem too bad, should give it a go. The only thing that spoils it is theres a magnifying glass so you can see all locations to search.. already the temptation has gotten the better of me and ive used it twice which has sped up the gameplay loads.. shouldnt be there really
yeah, we need more decent adventure games. i have just started playing the adventure genre and have been enjoying it a lot.

You can turn this help system (with the magnifying glass)off in the options buddy. It is your fault that you can’t enjoy the game because of that.

I’m already stuck. Anyone know how to activate the help system or have any advice on getting past the “globe”. I pressed on the “buttons” that correspond to the Greek letters of the astrological sign I chose to play with and as I pressed them, they all stayed “pushed”. After that, I’m lost.

Ted! push all the arrow letters! and then other two figure letters to the left of arrow! (the way the arrow is pointing) then the statue will move, and you will need a arrow to put in statue, and to shoot it

turken you fill one of the holes with clay then get water in the large jug thing you have and the fill the holes at the top of the 4 section with water in the correct number order..1 lot of water then next one is 3 next one is 5 next one is 9..

thanks dee that was my problem, figured out combi was 1359 (a bit over done with the word play on the tomb) but got stuck on the fourth hole… Thanks sorry bout ya question yet to come that far ^^

hi turken next thing you gonna have to do is take some pots off the shelf on the left as you go in and get the ingredients that was on the msg ie the llibie flowers etc. when all combined you have to put them in a container you will find one on a shelf near the water place.After that you will use the acid you made to find the secret door…
hope you know your prime numbers i had to googlee it to find out what they were cause thats the second part of the clue to the secret door remember…

so what was the mix for sleeping powder?
I have ingredients for sleeping powder. But it asks for Ashod resin nugget?? I know the mixture for Ashod resin, but not for it’s nugget form.
OK I figured it out. Ashod resin is the grey powder. And Tjekker flower is the white powder in the middle.
what is the recipe for the sleeping potion? where can I find it?
the sleeping potion recipe is in the ald mans basket cant quite remember but there is no coloured nuggets one white one grey think it was the grey nuggetts off the shelf on the right side i used so you need the grey mekkun powder out of one jar the nuggets then the cannan thorns then one of the white pwders.

Hi everybody can someone tell my please how to make the statues which i have give that guy in front of the library i have already make a mould and combine it with clay but i dont know the third ingredient thanks a lot:)
hurone..you need the original statue from the guy in front of the library
Hurone – you need to make two molds (two halves, that is)and combine them with the clay AFTER firing them, otherwise it’s too soft (or something to that nature).
Ok, I give up. I searched everywhere and can’t find the clue about the sleeping potion. I found a few documents listing the ingredients and what happens when they’re mixed, but I see no mention of a sleeping potion.

zoq..the contellasion orb click on it and hold down the left mouse button and you can turn the globe when you see the arrow sigh move your mouse over it and tou will see the name of it in the greek letters just copy those letters in the greek alphabet in the middle turning it the same way take care though some letters are there twice with a slight difference.simon the list should have auto gone into your notes and letters you have to make the sleeping potion according to the list..dont forget to take a fish
I’m going crazy, this game is so hard. The puzzles are braindamaging me.
Anyhow, how do I get the slave guy to open his freaking basket and why can’t I hit the croc with the “hitting rod, for crocs”. I have placed the hook and rope to its neck, and attached it to the digging stick to the collum but Thomas won’t do it.

ok make sure the rope is attached to the back of the digging pole you have inserted..do the columns in order left to right and make sure by looking at the bottom of each column what number it is at in order it should be as flo said above.
Th old hunchback will let you open his basket once you have spoken to him about getting out.

Can someone please help me with the principles for making potions (yes I’m stuck on that damn sleeping potion). For instance, I need to mix some ingrediens (Mitanni gum, Arsawa powder x 2, Pitessa gum x 2) in order to get Ashod resin, but how do I mix these? And how do I make them into nuggets. This is getting complicated, please just write down how to make that potion. I really like this game so I must proceed very soon.

simon to make the pole move once tou have stripped the paint off the bottom of all 4 starting at the left when facing them insert the digging pole then attach the end of the rope to the BACK of the digging pole the other end with the hook attach to socoures the croc.. then use the croc stick to make him move andhey presto the colum will turn do this for all for remembering the 4 prime numbers 2,3,5,7

yes the clue was in the room where the hunchback was in the heliolab place when he he finished talking as you turned round it was there on the little cupboard…you might have to identify the powders first but all i done was got a bowl of water then put the one i wanted to identify then chucked in some stuff from the top 4 the gum etc till it made smoke and change colour etc then he said he,d identified it empty the bowl and like wise for the one thats got no names

luska…you just pull the string back and it will hold then adjust the arm after placing the arrow.
grand thats what happened to me i had to go back a bit to where i had all the bowls and put them all in the room first cause they seem to dissapear if you didnt get them all of the shelf and fill them with one of everything when you had all the bowls
when you start out with the herbs thing doing the poison etc there is one bowl per item …thats one of the reasons i save loads incase of emergencys like this

Can anyone explain in a more detailed way how to poison the washing bowl? I got it from him but I don’t have any of the herbs. Where can I get them?
you have to take it back to where you made the poison and follow the ingredient list you picked up from his room..see above posts..and make the perfumed water add itr to the emptied water bowl them make the poison back up and the add it to the perfumed water in the water bowl..hope that helps

cypher no take the water bowl back to the room where you made the poison the herbs room…empty it in to the big vat..
you should have 16 different bowls of powders etc in this herbs room…you have to identify them see above post for instructions on that and which ones to use, there is 5 that you need to identify and use..zuzi ashur kassit masa tener…

POISON..
REMEMBER WHEN YOU FIRST ENTER THIS STAGE COLLECT ALL BOWL AND FILL EACH ONE WITH ALL AVAILABLE INGREDIENTS.
When all bowl are filled with one of each ingredient go to next room and place them in stands.
try and identify the ingredients, this can be done by taking a bowl of water and adding the ingredient you want to identify and then adding various powders etc from the 4 top bowls that were already there, when there identified he will say so.
when you have got names for them it makes it easier for both the poison and perfume potion.

Has anyone gotten to the island yet? I am stuck at the sling shot. I already made one replacement peg that I placed on the machine, and now it keeps saying that the sling is not in the right place. what am i missing?

jessmess. load the slingshot with the ball, cut out bags with the sails in the wooden box next to the ship and make sandbags to load as weights in the back of the slingshot. once ball is loaded, hit the lower peg with the hammer.

Thanx for all the help, but where can I find the last two peices of the tablet, outside the lighthouse. I’ve used that chanmail/wooden frame thingy in the sand, but there’s still two peices missing.
Also, I can remove the weights from inside the lighthouse, but where to put them?
Help! I´m stuck in the begining. Can´t get anywhere. I´ve found the poles, the hook, 2 papyrus, the pot, the mask, the braclet, the crown, the writing stick and half of a broken stick. What now? I must be stuppied..
I am also stuck at the beginning. When I try to read the papyrus it still says “the diameter is wrong”. What should I do/find to read that damned papyrus pls??

Have you dried the wet papyrus? I dosen´t help to read it, but..
I placeed it in the writing case and something happend.. But i can´t read it..
@Sabina thanks – Yes, I dried the wet one. I have mask, crown, bracelet, pot, Greek papyrus, legible papyrus, writing case, 2x papyrus stalk, leather, hook and half of a broken stick in my inventory. When I place papyrus in writing case nothing happens…
It´s the “wet” paper U should put in the writing case..
I have it! I had to find another half of stick, then combine it with the other half and pot and I got reading stick for papyrus.
You first have to drie the paper and then put it on the writing case. Then you can read it.
Philip continue took on the sand there are all pieces in there.
You have to use weights in the chariot and in the elevator to try to take you up to the top of the lighthouse.

All the pices you need at the beggining are all lying around on the ground in various places you have to look carefully at everything when you have use the tar to stick it together dry your papyrus then you will be able to read it

SASAYU..thats right you the insert the digging pole then attach the rope top the BACK of the inserted pole the making sure you have the hook attached to the other end of the rope attach this to socoures the croc..then talk to the gaurdian guy about crocs to be able to get the staff from ouside use this then to move the attached croc but you must remember the first 4 prime mumbers as the clue says as each pole is only turned a certain number of times

1 lullib flowers
2 makkan seeds
2 urku roots
1 armath leaves
put them all together in the water bowl and you will have paint stripper put this in the blue flask off the shelf on the right of you then use this on the columns

you will get the arrow when you go round to the other eros they fire the arrows over the wall just pick it up and fix it

luska.. did you read all the papers you found and have a look athe calender on the wall and move it to the right place then look athe name it gave you and match it up with the tasses
adi you have to strtch the bow and position eros arm in right place then something else behind you that you will have to interact with

Draco … place the bar on table and put in the tasses from the basket( if you have made them) from the beginning hole..

when you have done that place it in the helliolab and make sure you have wound it hup..then just use the hellolab

adi… place arrow pull back sting on bow positin arm middle position then something behind you on the pyramid will move interact with it…
luska…have you got the grappling hook…tie one end of the grappling hook to the back of the pole and the hook end to socrous the croc and make sure you talk to the croc guy to be able to get the croc stick from outside to make socrous croc move

Luska have you got all the right stuff ie the rod and the tasses made up and put in the rod if so then you just wind up the helliolab and insert the rod you made up with the tasses and then interact with it and it will start doing what it should do
luska draco has just done that part too soo they can help you if you havent done making the tasses and reading the calender etc…quite a complex one this puzzle

The other half of the stick can be found near the bridge – left hand side – when you go from the “tomb” but I would swear I looked there before and found nothing

I already set up the Eros statue to shot arrow, but haven’t found any arrows near the Eros (where arrows shot outside), even I went around many times and re-do the globe problems…
And how can I read the dried legible papyrus? (dunno where to put to investigate it).

Strip the paint on all for attached digging rod, attached hooked rope to the rod and crocodile, talked with “sobek” went out and took the staff and talked with him again, but then how to use the staff, can find any were to use it with or on.

I just don’t get it…. I’m in the small room with the herbs, I’ve collected them in the bowls, except for the gray nugget…it’s wet or something, how can I collect that one? And I can’t figure out how to make the sleeping poison, should I pick the herbs one by one and put them in the bowl of water? Or should I make all the ingredients first, and then put them together? If so, how do I ’save’ the (for example) ashrot nuggets so I can put it in the bowl of water later on? Thanks for your help (great game btw

Myst type adventures are the worst of all games. Idiotic, nonsensical puzzles in between a slideshow of prerendered images. Why pollute the already polluted game industry with this shite? The kinds of retards that play these games are the freaks you see with the jumbo crossword and anagram books in buses and the like. Where is the fun in such a type of game? A real adventure game is Grim Fandango or Full Throttle, not these Myst clone shits.

Dee: didn’t need the help, just didn’t had time to play. Tnx anyway, might help someone else. So… got to the top of the tower, found I’m missing three gorgon’s names. I know them in english (I study history) but going back to the game – got some peaces of plaque from the sand, still missing two. Damn gamemakers wrote every greek word in this game in modern greek (I guess. it’s not ancient for sure) so my ancient greek knowledge doesn’t help me here. Bad star luck?

I can’t get any new tags onto the rod. After I put the rod on the table and click on it, I get a message saying “It’s impossible to remove these tags; they’re attached to the rod…” Any help would be appreciated.

On the other side something opened. I put sun at 12 o’clock and moon on 7 o’clock. When i tryed to put rod in signatures it said: “Just about got it the rod won’t stay in place. I need some help in Akkad’s Workshop. I have searched the room and the roof and picked up everything it would let me. So now I am trying to make the light machine on the roof work only the notched rod already has plates in it. I have tried everything in my storage all it tells me is that the plates are in there permanently and it’s impossible to remove them what do I do?

It’s to the upper right of the table on the shelf, if anyone else is wondering.
@skyefire if you have picked up another rod and made some small tasses you should have both large and small tasses in the baskets place the bar on table and put in the tasses from the basket( if you have made them) from the beginning hole..

when you have done that place it in the helliolab and make sure you have wound it up. Just use hellolab and it will work to send message.

@dee no i haven’t damn game hehe i am stuck trying to get cyclopse to work. I have done everything i can think of to get the stone ball in the slingshot but i cant do it yet…. Maybe you can advise what i have missed? i got peg and when it broke i put new one in. I made new sand bags and placed all 3 to counterbalance and i got cyclopse to bring down sling shot but it just won’t let me put stone in. Any help at this stage will stop me pulling all my hair out LOL thanks
hi draco did you move the sligshot to the middle of the cyclops first
once the actual slingshot is in the middle of the cyclpos you just get the cannonball and click on the slingshot then get the other end of the slingshop rope and attach it to the hook at the bootom of the cyclops (the end the slingshot hangs from)

Draco it sounds like you have the next bit susses where you have to pick thewedge thing up and go up the ladder and attach it..peg breaks you make new peg and it works
Draco next it sound like you have managed to get the slingshot down..good just click and drag it to the middle of the catapult then you can put the ball in the crab the end of the rope hanging from the sligshot and fdrag it to the hook
Add the 3 freshly made [Sandbags] to the counter-and the ones on the floor
Put ladder up against the catapult. Pick up [Winch Cable Loop] and
climb up the ladder. If Thomas says the cable is locked, flip the peg next to
the wheel. Position [Winch Cable Loop] on the wooden block hanging from the
catapult arm. Secure it in place with the peg you made earlier. If the peg
breaks, make a new one the same way you made the first one. Climb down and put
the ladder back where you got it from. Flip peg next to wheel, then turn the
wheel. Use [Sling] on the base of the catapult, load it with the [Stone Ball]
and attach the [Hook] to the hook on the catapult arm. Use [Hammer] on the peg
in the [Winch Cable Loop] to fire the catapult. Pick up [Peg], flip peg next
to wheel, place ladder against catapult, fasten the [Winch Cable Loop] again
using the [Peg] to secure it in place. Climb down, flip the peg, turn the wheel
and use the [Sling] on the catapult base again.

Dee yes i have put both loads of sandbags on and put new peg in after first one breaks but this is where i can’t progress. I come down ladder and move wheel and bag drops to floor and after that i cant load ball?
draco..you have to use the sling on the base of the catapult to be able to put the ball in it first…
draco when you click on the slingshot bag a hand should come up to sue it the move the pointer to the left in the centre of the catapult the gears sign should come up to use something there just click the mouse to use the slingshot..

Like I said earlier, Myst-clones are shite. Just look at all the help people ask for! Every fucking step of the way! They make the games so obscure and retarded that you have to have the logic of a professional puzzle solver to get through. I remember some of these types of games even had puzzles based on different mathematical rules to the established ones because they were ‘Alien’, and so the player had to learn how to count in an alien way before doing the damn puzzle!
An adventure game should be logical,challenging and rewarding, but not to the point where people need a walkthrough for every single puzzle as many here seem to do!
And to the guy that said I should go back to Halo 3, the retard should have read that I mentioned REAL adventure games, and have been playing them since the early 80’s on an Apple II!(text ones then)

I didn’t need a walkthough to solve the puzzles, but was quite stuck for a while on some of them.
It probably helps to have played similar games before, like the monkey island-series (huge fan btw) and such.

kukuba…Walk towards the sphere. Rotate the Sphere so that the Arrow Constellation is visible. You will need to enter the names of the Arrow, Pegasus and Pisces constellation on the rotating ring. The correct order is as follows:
Beta, Epsilon, Lambda, Omicron, Sigma, Pi, Eta, Gamma, Alpha, ‘Iota (the one with the apostrophe!), Khi, Theta, Upsilon. You have now activated Eros’ statue.
oh and to actually rotate it just hold the left mouse button down and drag it

you said I have to enter the name of the three constellations: Arrow, Pegasus and Pisces. Te letters you gave me don’t sum up to the letters needed to spell those three words.
KUKUBA.ok when you point your mouse at the three constellations..the greek names show up..either write them down or do as i done and just click on them one at a time as they written i gave you an example above..

draco hi again..there is only 6 medasllions you need look at tomb thing in the middle both sides and you will see thomas tell you the story of isis..start from pices with one gaurdian and work your way round both sides
draco when you have looked at them all remember there names and where the black dots representing the gaurdians that isis is walkin past on the pictures
draco then return to the panel and move the sun and moon hands till only the signs that were on the pictures on the tomb walls are showing then try putting the rods in the holes in accordance with the dots represebting the gods isis walks past

I am at the Islan and I don´t know what to do with the alivators in the Lighthouse. The onley way I can get the vagon down is to not have any veight at all in the green alivator, but then how do I get up? grrrrrr
