Cleaner 2007 DVDRip XviD-VoMiT

We all know VoMiT as the group that mainly releases shit films that no one would watch of free will, but have they brought us a nice surprise today. Cleaner, a thriller starring some great names such as Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Mendes (God she’s hot), and Ed Harris is scheduled to be released retail in the US on May 27th, so we get a nice 15-day advance. This got a fairly good rating on IMDB, but the critics at RT bashed it with a 20%, but f*** the critics, and just download to see Eva Mendes :D .

Quality: Although most of the movies VoMiT releases aren’t good, the quality of their releases is consistent, and their nuke average shows this as its only 2.65%. For an 88 minute movie, this release is quite good with a nice res of 640×272 and a bitrate of 950kbps. The MP3 160kbit/s audio is fairly good as well, and English and French subs are included.

Former policeman Tom Cutler (Samuel L. Jackson) earns his living by scrubbing up after crime scenes in Trenton, New Jersey. A widower with a teenaged daughter, Rose (Keke Palmer), Tom goes to an upscale neighborhood to clean up after a homicide scene. The next day, when he goes to return the key, he’s surprised to find that the woman, Ann Norcut (Eva Mendes), whose home was the crime scene, has no idea what happened. He finds from a buddy who’s still on the force that Ann’s husband, who was a key prosecution witness about to testify about corruption in the police force, has gone missing. The next day, the police begin investigating Tom’s cleaning company and he no longer knows who he can trust.

    You do realize that only 5 people have rated this movie on Rotten Tomatoes right? So it wasn’t really bashed…just not reviewed. You can’t make an informed decision on 5 votes.

    @17 Absolutely right. RT and IMDB are so biased on their voting and sometimes the votes seem to be rigged, so I never really pay attention to the ratings and I think others shouldn´t either. This is a very good (though small) movie and it has some very nice visuals for your viewing pleasure (especially the first cleaning montage) :)

    Some more positive reviews for this film would help, since I avoided the Screener on the basis of poor reviews, but considering two or three approvals here, I’ll probably get this rip. Samuel Jackson doesn’t make too many bad films, thankfully. :)

    Don’t want to spoil the party but for me it was an average thriller considering the big names. It is okay as a DVD rental (or even good for free) but don’t expect a brethtaking story with twists and suprises! Just my 2 cent!

    FXM’s torrent post at #33 is not the Vomit version. The size is wrong. Its likely a relabel of the screener.
    Not a bad film but having seen it some time ago, I can say it certainly wasn’t memorable.

    I’ve seen this and it’s just so-so. The plot is fairly simple and the acting is ok, although Ed Harris’ character lacked something. I’m guessing that poor direction and script editing are to blame.

    btw: I am curious why staff thinks vomit is so bad. Some of the releases are pretty decent imo (e.g. Numb, True North, Spiral). So what if they release crummy B movies, too. Diamond releases its share of crap. Big deal. One good thing about vomit releases, I can’t recall seeing a “proper” or nuke in a long time.

    I still wonder why “scene” releases rarely go beyond 640 in width… And to keep the aspect ratio of the movie, height is 272. 272 is a bit small xD a PSP screen is about the same height.

    A standard dvd is 720 width; and with the improvements of XviD and DivX for the past few years, a very good video quality can be encoded in 720 x 306 (it’s… only a bit larger than 640 x 272 though ^_^).

    You dont even host your own pictures…?? How lame is that, or should I say how cheap is that. Geezz like 10,000 pic are not even like 10mb for christ sakes…. I learned that like 10 years ago with my first site. Now I have a couple 100 and I still host all my own pics…Dont be so cheap…… Here go host them on one of my sites if you insist on being that cheap… addmypics.com..     As post 76 said, What’s the password on the zip file?
    Got it through the torrent link as per usual, unrar the multi files and instead of the avi I got a zip file. Try to unzip and it wants a password. This is a 1st for me via this site.
