CJ7 PosterA non-scene group M14CH0 brings us the Asian film CJ7 only with English Dub. There’s already been a release from ESPiSE. Quality is what you’d expect from a R2 DVDRip.

Ti, a really poor construction worker that struggles to keep his son, Dicky, in private school, mistakes an orb he finds in a junkjard for a toy his son heavily requested from him, since all of the classmates had it. This object turns out to be an alien creature with regenerative powers that will end up teaching important lessons to both father and son, amidst a dramatic turn of events in which Dicky is confronted to the harsh realities of life.

    American movies lack substance…

What’s the difference between a tub of yoghurt and an American movie?? The yoghurt has more culture.

I agree with the reading of subtitles taking away from the enjoyment of the visual aspect of a movie. Not the case with CJ7. Anytime you really need to be looking at the action, all you hear are grunts and special effects.

Conversely, the lips moving out of sync with the audio of some guy who tried to verbally “act” from a studio booth on foreign language movies is as distracting as watching pr0n with overdubbed moans and out of sync audio on the nut shots.

There are and allways be some poor ignorant souls who need to definitely open their hearts in order to grow. We should only feel pity for them. You are missing out on a lot of things!!!!!

Stephen Chow has a real flair for comedy and in general has made some very good movies.

Check him out on IMDB for a listing of movies he has been involved with.

BTW Kung FU Hustle II is in production right now. whoo hoo

Subtitles “taking away the enjoyment of the visual aspect of a movie”. What about completely changing language, names, voices and the big part of what makes that foreign film foreign. It’s like going to Thailand and running towards the first McDonalds you see..

This film is NOT suitable for young kids!

We watched it with our 5 and 7 year olds. It has a lot of unsuitable content for that age group. If you are a parent and are considering this one for younger children you might want to watch it through before they see it.

    This is no Disney movie!

To people that need English subtitle here it is
    http://subscene.com/CJ7-Cheung-Gong-7-hou/subtitles-71335.aspx

all you have to do is change the name of the movie and put “avi” at the end of the title like this

    CJ7.LIMITED.DVDRip.XviD-ESPiSE.avi
    CJ7.LIMITED.DVDRip.XviD-ESPiSE.srt

i used VLC PLAYER and trust me it works
