the basis of the show is illogical, however by the content stuck in his head is a compilation of two separate intelligence systems. The supposed ‘foretelling’ is the result of patternt recognition between the two sets and combining them to a conclusion of possible future occurrence’s.

Most movies and tv shows are designed for entertainment, not factual and logical happenstance

first of all, its a show, and second of all, the cia or whatever has been watching those terrorists or whatever and only saved in on that computer or something. week explanation but the first one nails it! its just a show and if you can show me a movie or a show where EVERYTHING is logical, you show it to me!

what i dont get is if chuck has all these intel in his head from records and such from the past, how the hell is he able to know what will happen in the future (where bombs are being planted, who will get murdered, etc)?

@5 I highly doubt it will be canceled. Whether because it leads into heroes or that people generally like it, it is still pulling millions of unique views each episode. The main flaw I find with the premise of the show isn’t it isn’t made to be a long lasting series. The government is replacing the original computer system, and eventually all the info in his head is going to be outdated. If the show makes it to a second season, I don’t think it will have much to explore. This may end up being a one season wonder kind of deal. A series that begins and ends logically in one season. Time will tell anyway.
