Chill 2007 DVDRip XviD-aAF
A new horror which was summarized as “not really bad, just not good” appeared few moments ago. “Chill” released by group aAF does not features real acting debutants as most of FiCO releases do, but it doesn’t have much chances to succeed with its $850k budget. Standard 1 CD release with MP3 audio.
In this classic retro horror thriller, Sam (Thomas Calabro, “Melrose Place”), an aspiring writer, gets a job as a clerk in an L.A. inner city grocery market owned by the sinister Dr. Munoz, a former scientist who claims to have a rare skin condition that forces him to live in sub-freezing temperatures. Subsequently, Sam befriends an attractive neighborhood boutique owner Maria (Ashley Laurence, “Hellraiser”) and is unwittingly entwined in a threatening love triangle when she reveals that ex-boyfriend Detective Defazio (James Russo, “Donnie Brasco”, “The Ninth Gate”), who is investigating the recent disappearance of two local prostitutes, is stalking her.

“Man Bites Dog” and “Mad Max” were both made on tiny budgets – it really makes you wonder what made those films so darn popular after all. Things that make you go “hmmm”…
“but it doesn’t have much chances to succeed with its $850k budget”.
Sorry Martin, but that comment is pretty dumb. Ever see Evil Dead or Halloween? Both were made on very small budgets and both are among the most critically and financially successful independent films of all time.
A solid concept followed by good writing wins out every time. Not stars or budgets. Check out The Man From Earth or Blood Car(on this site) for proof of that.

What Martin Failed To Mention Was That The 3.1 Rating This Movie Got @ IMDB, Was From Only 74 Votes.
Does anyone actually make up their own mind or just listen to some wannabe criticts? Some of the best movies I`ve ever seen I`d never even heard about before.
Yes, this may be crap, then again who knows unless YOU watch it.
Stop being sheep
