Zonealarm firewall plus NOD32 antivirus … and you are good to go - Good protection, low system resource usage.

    4FuK-S8kZ i agree
    nod32 + zone alarm pro + spybot

    my friend had same problem
what i did to help him :D
put na older version of za pro (i think 6.7.00 something like that), but didnt put key
    so its that free edition
it protects him good (my opinion), doesnt ask a bunch of questions and utorrent is at full speed, try it

with new versions you cant use it free (at least i couldnt)

    now running outpost + nod32!

zone alarm needed too much resources on my pc.
avg was a good antivirus, but it used to find false positives in many keygens.

bah, loooong list pointless programs, nod32, spybot and ofc this program. Install firefox with proper plugins and outpost firewall. Thats all you really need.

what a hell do you need AV for when you have outpost and FF, has you AV ever caught anything? ANYTHING AT ALL? …besides those false reports :D

@19 when downloading tons of files u urgently need AV software. Or u don’t need any browser except of IE if u r not n00b ;)

On the day Checkpoint aquired ZoneLabs they made it the most useless tool in the world. Haven’t seen such a resource-eating piece of s*** since Symantec crippling Norton.
I wouldnt use that tool if they’d pay me!

Worthless thing now. The firewall for some odd reason cuts off my internet after comming out of Hibernation…. Once uninstalled hibernation didnt cut off internet.

try comodo firewall , its very very good and free(no need of keygens or registry tweaks or cracks
), to run utorrent or any bitorent proggie just need to add a network rule that opens the listener port used by the proggie -
No open ports to the world :p - tested with various online portscans - like grc.com.

I liked that software on WinXP, it was very good. But when Vista comes out, there was no vista version of Zone Alarm. Maybe i’ll try it now

i got mo need for software firewalls, they all just hog resources. use hardware firewall like your router and for antivirus use common sense dont be a n00b and open/download everything on the web.
