CheckPoint ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite v7.0.337.000 Incl Keymaker-ACME
Here’s the latest version of popular ZoneAlarm protection suite. The company was recently bought by another firm, so that’s the reason for “CheckPoint” at the beginning of this release. ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite works as a complete set of tools which should protect you against all internet threats. Unluckily for me, I don’t trust this application too much after recent experience, but may be you hadn’t notice any problems. It doesn’t eat all our RAM at least asNorton products…

Kaspersky FTW!
hmm… actually NAV07 was very light, it didnt use much ram after all, that turned out to be just negative hype
Updating the product worked well but that process used alot of cpu for quite some time, besides that, I had no problems what so ever…
but yea, i agree with 420, Kaspersky ftw
and for firewall, Outpost ofc!
for you Outpost users, check out if notice any similarities with Lavasoft’s firewall and Outpost
For me its
Kaspersky + Windows Vista Firewall + Admuncher/Adblock Plus
This combo works great for me with the least consumption and complete peace of mind.

What issues you had with it?
Personally I think this is the best security suite on the market maybe not the best firewall or antivirus or antispam but definitely the best all in one security suite.
Just CRAP ! use Kerio or some else but not Zenealarm ^^
just use a decent virusscanner and the windows firewall..
Personal firewalls are crap all together
MCE 2005 users, install this to enable random crashes or freezes; guaranteed to happen three or more times daily.
is this vista ready?
for me it’s just good old Sygate Personal Firewall Pro. just about protects from most ‘auto’ attacks.
Dekenfrost… May the internets ahve mercy on your hard drive…
I’ve used sympantic corporate antivirus for a while and can’t fault it. Low CPU usage and very discrete. I would pay for a legit copy if the retail version was the same. I just need a decent firewall to replace norton’s.
“May the internets ahve mercy on your hard drive…”
Firewalls can´t and won´t help you against virii. And virusscanners can always only help against known threads .. not unknown ones.
So you always depend on a bit of luck anyway
But as long as you don´t turn of your brain and only use software you trust everything is fine.
My point is, firewalls normally do more damage than really help you.
They can help you detect what trys to communicate to someone else from your computer, if your lucky, but thats about it.
For that i don´t need a firewall .. netstat -ano or if you really need 3rd party software tcpview is enough for that job.
may be..
DO NOT DOWNLOAD!
Damn keygen is a freakin trojan, hidden in the first .zip file.
Here is my VirusScan Alert:
ZONELABS_KEYGEN.EXE, Detected as New Malware.aj, Detection Type as Trojan,
Anyone else got this?
Why not post some keys here?
Showing a trojan also but ACME keygens sometimes hit false pos as generic trojans. Since I don’t want this weak firewall anyway I’ll leave it at that. ZA is auto hacked by almost all semi-recent intrusion bots.
Kerio + NOD32 + RootKit Detection are a good defensive setup. BTW if your not checking for kernel level rootkits your leaving the front door open. Malware and virii are lesser evils and easier to defend against and clean.
