Well, here I am, a couple of days after the release of the AWESOME film “In Bruges” also released by DiAMOND. If you haven’t seen that film yet, I strongly recommend you check it out. That was one of the best new films I’ve seen for a long time. Very entertaining indeed. DMD releases another film today, which is cool. This one was released on p2p as a surprise workprint in early February this year. This means that it may have been an unfinished copy. No worries though, because DiAMOND are here with a retail DVDRip copy. Enjoy.

Quality: “There’s a lot of strange men, in Cell block 10, but the strangest of them all, was a friend of mine who spent his time staring at the wall… staring at the wall”. Might as well sing a Johnny Cash classic here since you know damn well the quality is mighty fine.

Wealthy teenager Charlie Bartlett is failing miserably at fitting in at a new public high school run by the world-weary Principal Gardner. As he begins to better understand the social hierarchy, Charlie’s honest charm and likability positions him as the resident “psychiatrist” dishing out advice, and the occasional prescription with his partner and fellow student, Murphy Bivens, to other students in need. Along the way, he decides to take some of his own advice, find romance, and learn to accept who he is, thus wielding a witty dark comedy about the angst-filled years before college.

    It’s fast, but it doesn’t finish. I got 232mb before it died this time. It never completes.

    The Flyupload link isn’t working, Rapidshare is bugging out, I tried the sharedzilla link, but it’s thudding along at a whopping 20KB/sec.

    The multi megaupload links will work much faster, with a little more work.

    is it just me or anybody else getting problems with video?
    the video plays vertically instead of horizontal i am using vlc .although it might be because i play the movie while its downloading but ive done this several times before and has never happened

    you might have messed with the settings. change the resolution of vlc display.

    honestly, the acting is horrid, the plot sucks, and overall its just a very very bad movie.

    I STILL have the workprint guys. Apparently, the workprint is 1:27:11. The DVDRip is 1:36:54.

    Not THAT big of a difference but I’ll check it out.

    The workprint was absolutely awful quality - soft and smeary like a 5th generation vhs copy (it was clearly vhs sourced).

    I really wanted to watch the movie, but was waiting for at least a r5 - dvd-r is even better. =]

    ??? - this diamond release is a retail DVDRip - the workprint was VHS source.

    I watched the Replica DVD-R earlier, video quality was fine and the movie was good (except the ending, but that’s true of most movies).
