Chamillionaire – Ultimate Victory (2007)
Here’s another rap/hiphop album for you guys from artist Chamillionaire (stupid name) called “Ultimate Victory” it’s his second album which will be released on the 18th of September. Many of you will probably know him from his annoying single “Ridin’ Dirty” featuring Krayzie Bone, there’s a better version of this song by Weird Al which is just hilarious. He’s released two singles off the album called “Hip Hop Police” and “The Evening News” i’m not sure if they are any good as i haven’t heard any of his song apart from the annoying one. Audio quality should be good. Enjoy!
Ultimate Victory is the second solo album from Chamillionaire. The original release was to be on March 27, 2007, it is now being released on September 18, 2007. He also states the new release date in his Freestyle “It’s On” and his website. Guests on the album are confirmed to be Krayzie Bone, Lil’ Wayne, Slick Rick and Devin The Dude.
Chamillionaire announced that his first official single off Ultimate Victory is “Hip Hop Police” featuring Slick Rick. The track was produced by Jonathan Rotem. “Hip Hop Police” leaked to the Internet on June 18, 2007. Chamillionaire’s single “Hip Hop Police”, and his follow up “The Evening News”, are available on iTunes. Chamillionaire will release music videos in sequential order to make it seem like a movie. The first video, “Hip Hop Police”, was premiered in full, along with “Evening News”, on July 26th on BET Access Granted. An exclusive interview with Chamillionaire is available on Associated Content. The next single, “The Bill Collecta” featuring Bone Thugs member Krayzie Bone, will be released on September 18th, but can be heard on Chamillionaire’s MySpace page.

Better than Kanye’s album, and a whole lot better than 50’s rehashed crap. 50 was never really talented to begin with…but I’m disappointed with Kanye’s efforts as far as production.
Anyway, this is one of the better albums released this year, and I’m not even a real fan of Camillionaire.
I do wish there were more songs like “The Morning News”, though, that take advantage of the medium of music, and actually say something that means something. That has a message.
Too much crap gets pumped out now, just to make money off of kids, who are getting fed crap and just don’t know the difference, because for most, it’s all they’ve ever heard!
If hip hop doesn’t de-evolve into something closer to it’s roots, it’s going to get pushed aside by something else…because it’s more Pop-Hop today than any other moniker.
