Who wouldn’t love the new album from Celine Dion? I still got this song from Titanic in my mind from time to time although it seriously looked this artist is “offline” for a while. But her new album Taking Chances changes this and reviewers go off the scale in their positive criticism. 18 new songs are waiting for you…

The long awaited English language return from the Canadian megastar is the follow up to the 2007 French effort ‘D’elles,’ and is the prolific singer’s 34th full length release. ‘Taking Chances’ sees Dion teaming up with a host of internationally renowned songwriters including Dave Stewart and LindaPerry to produce yet another album of heartstring-tugging power balladry enhanced by her inimitable vocal talents. The album also features the likes of R Kelly and Ben Moody on production duties and includes the single ‘Taking Chances.’

Céline Marie Claudette Dion (born March 30, 1968) is a Canadian singer and occasional songwriter and actress. Born to a large, impoverished family in Charlemagne, Québec, Dion emerged as a teen star in the French-speaking world after her manager and would-be husband René Angélil mortgaged his home to finance her first record. In 1990 she released the anglophone album Unison, establishing herself as a viable pop artist in North America and other English speaking areas of the world.

    I LOL’d when I saw RLSLOG put up a Celine Dion post. Mind you, this is the same RLSLOG that didn’t even mention Maynard James Keenan’s Puscifer album. Nor did they mention Radiohead’s “In Rainbows” release. Which leads me to seriously question the sexuality of the guys who make RLSLOG posts.

    Hearing Celine Dion’s music is akin to having my testicles nailed to a treestump, which is covered in petrol, then set on fire, and then doused out with vinegar and dettol, whilst being simultaneously assraped by a cactus.

    I still have nightmares of that Youtube video with her performing ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’, especially that ‘Air guitar moment’ – Eugghh! Pass the cactus and the nails please!

    i dont get it, has music become good if the person looks good? disregarding the voice.
    I would say thisis the music industrys fualt, they promote female musicians as sex icons, or demand that from them, thats why you see most new mainstream artist are like sluty hoes.

    What’s with all these comments? You’re really surprised that someone would release an album by the best-selling female artist ever? In case that hasn’t clued you in, not everyone shares your taste in music. Some of us think Maynard and Radiohead blow, and Celine is awesome.

    And this is an excellent album. Don’t just dismiss it without even listening to it.

    Oh my god!How could someone criticize CELINE DION??she’s got the best voice in the world..and the strongest..i think few are the people who can sing like her…i still didn’t listen to her latest album but im so excited to coz i used to hear her songs since i was 7 years old and im still crazy about her songs…I don’t think anyone should hate her after my heart will go on song…AMAZING..
