While I haven’t seen a definitive date for cavemen being canceled, it might make it one full season. The ratings for the show are terrible. It has to compete with NCIS and Bones which both have established fans and avid watchers. The only show that can even remotely lose out to cavemen is Beauty and the Geek. It has trouble beating FOX and ABC. With Biggest Loser kicking out singing bee for the sweeps, NBC is also kicking caveman butt. In the end, no matter what the die hard fans think, no viewers = poor revenue = no season 2. Unless it suddenly picks up viewers the cavemen will be going the way of the dinosaur.
In all honesty this show would have made a great one time movie. Although I like the show enough, there just simply is not enough content imho to survive a whole season. Hell when the show didn’t air last week due to sports events (i believe), very few questioned where cavemen had gone and just assumed the show canceled right then and there. Last night’s release was a definite surprise if for nothing but it’s existence. ^_^

this season most new shows with a full season script wont get cancelled because the studios are already desperatly in need of new shows after the us writing guild is on strike… shows like desperate housewifes have already been put on standby because they dont have enough scripts
lets just hope that shows like heroes have enough scripts for this season

Bad show, its gonna be cut soon
this caveman show sucks,and to believe they cancelled george lopez for this george was right the show didnt last one season.and george lopez lasted 5 seasons. i miss his show good thing its on nick at nite….VIVA LA RAZA
