Here is my first News post. I will try and keep you in touch with the latest movies and TV show news. I won’t fill the news with celebrity gossip and crap but interesting news about the latest stuff. So enjoy.
Seth Rogen is Paul
Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and director Greg Mottola have picked a solid comedy support team to their alien road trip comedy Paul. Top of the list is Seth Rogen, who will voice the titular character, an alien that two sci-fi fanatics (Pegg and Frost) encounter on a trip to Area 51. While Paul will largely be CG, Rogen’s voice means he should also be suitably chucklesome. Also joining the roster is a healthy crop of current comedy talent – Bill Hader (who worked with Rogen and Mottola on Superbad), Jason Bateman, Kristin… (Continue/Source)
Fox to remake Alien?
We’ll serve one this up straight: a reliable source has tipped off Bloody Disgusting that Twentieth Century Fox is remaking Alien. All the Pixar buzz so far this year has rested on the shoulders of the sure-to-be-outstanding Up, which is released in October. But with debut of this teaser, tongues will surely be wagging in anticipation of… (Continue/Source)
Jay Leno Ends Tonight Show Run by Repopulating the Earth
“Goodnight, everybody,” Jay Leno began when it appeared doubtful that the rabid standing ovation would ever cease. After more than a minute of hoots and applause, the audience finally quieted down so that Leno, after 17 years behind the wheel of the late-night staple, could welcome the crowd to “the exciting season finale of the Tonight Show.” “I want to thank all the people that made it possible—Michael Jackson, Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton.” But as the Leno faithful know, it was the easygoing charm and spot-on delivery of the prominent-chinned, uniquely coiffed comedian who kept millions (Continue/Source)
