Wow. Been a while since Slipknot were on the scene (metal scene that is). They toured like madmen supporting their 4th album Vol. 3 (or 3rd depending on whether you count MFKR or not, but that was an awesome album, so I’m definitely counting that) which resulted in me seeing them at least 5 or 6 times on different festivals and concerts around Europe. This new music video was shot in their home state of Iowa. Its a different Slipknot this time around, but I quite enjoy this track.

The music video for “Psychosocial” was shot at Sound Farm studios in Jamaica, Iowa on June 30, 2008. The shoot was delayed due to an unrelated head injury sustained by turntablist Sid Wilson before the shoot, who was subsequently hospitalised. On July 18, 2008 the video premiered on MTV’s “FNMTV” show.^[10] The video, which was directed by Paul Brown, was shot using high-end cameras which shoot 1,000 frames per second and are contrasted with traditional 35 mm hand crank camera equipment.

Dance group Scooter’s beautiful ‘Im Lonely‘ music video makes it out to the scene thanks to SE (SECTION-E). Interesting in their NOTES says ‘not jumpstyle :)’ . Video and Audio are both without problems. The video has cut scenes from one of their live tours, closeups of H.P. Baxxter, and a produced scene with a couple breaking up and reuniting.

Well, so good that Mr. X joins me in making posts in MViD category. It’s a chance for me to learn how other editors would like to post in this field. Now I will keep doing my job. “One Step At A Time” is the third single from American Idol 2007 champion Jordin Sparks. From her last single “No Air”, which duets with Chris Brown, I can see that this young girl has a beautiful strong voice. I believe she would have a bright future. OK. NiF brings the Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) sourced version of Korn’s new single, Haze. The song was written and recorded for the upcoming Ubisoft video game with the same name, and the video contains many cut-aways of in-game action. Quality is top-end, as with most MViD because of their small size.

“Haze” is a song by American rock band Korn, written and recorded for the upcoming Ubisoft video game Haze, It was released digitally in the U.S. on April 22, 2008, and will be released to radio on May 20, 2008. The game itself will be released in May for the PlayStation 3. The song was leaked beforehand through Verizon’s VCast service. Korn posted a blog on April 23, 2008 stating that those who purchased their untitled album will be able to download “Haze” as a free VBR-quality MP3 by visiting a certain website.

Step aside Will, it’s my turn now. We’ve all seen Weezer’s Pork and Beans in youtube quality. But now MViD group by the name ‘RRR’ brings the x264 high-quality version, from DVD source, just yesterday. Snaps are in PNG to preserve quality. There is a noticeable difference in quality from this version compared to watching from youtube.
