“Get Sexy” is the first single to be taken from the Sugababes yet untitled seventh studio album. The song was produced by The Smeezingtons and is the Sugababes’s twenty-fifth single overall, but the first to be released in the US since “Hole in the Head” in 2004. “Get Sexy” will be released digitally on August 30 2009 and physically the following day in the UK. The song entered the A List on BBC Radio 1’s coveted playlist almost a month before its release. It is the first Sugababes single not to have a B-Side.

SiRE have just released the latest (Third) studio album from popular Australian rock band “Jet” which is due to be released on the 25th of August.

The band have been in the studio since 2008 working on the album. After touring was completed for their previous album, Shine On, the band took a short break. The album was originally thought to be released in late 2008 but a secret show was played in Melbourne in December 2008 only to debut new material. Various tracks that will be featured on the album were played at this concert including the first single “She’s a Genius”.

The track “K.I.A (Killed in Action)” was added to Jet’s website in early April 2009. Altsounds.com first reported on the album in late April 2009 – drawing on information from the leaked press kit and providing the image of the album cover.

Here’s a new album from Swedish pop singer Erik Hassle. Called simply “Hassle”, it features 12 songs spread over 44 minutes of playtime.

Erik Hassle, born August 26, 1988 in Katrineholm in Sdermanlands ln, is a Swedish singer and composer. He is resident of Tullinge in Stockholms ln. Hassle attended the musical upper secondary school Rytmus in Stockholm. In 2008 he signed a Swedish record contract with Roxy Recordings, and in 2009 he signed an international record contract with Island Records. On February 16, 2009, he opened for The Script in Stockholm.

Group FWYH released a limited edition of new album Entering The Ice Age from Swedish electronic band Dupont. This is a 2 CD release, but each album includes just 8 to 10 songs.

DuPont was formed as a collaboration of the vocalist Johan Damm and the electronic musicians Danucci and Riccardo in 1999. Following the demo ‘Deliver’, they signed with the German label Lip Records who released their first single ‘Behave’. Their debut album ‘Ukraina’ was released in 2001. In 2002, Dupont supported Covenant on their ‘Northern Light’ tour. There was a lengthy to their next album, during which time Juan left the project to eventually be replaced on lead vocals by Riccardo, with the band’s music moving in an electro-pop direction on their 2005 album ‘Intermezzo’. Their third album is currently in preparation.
