Sex and the City is directed by Michael Patrick King and very good actors work on this movie. Movie has get middle score on RT and IMDb. I think it has deserved a little bit more. NEPTUNE is back with a VHS screener, this time it’s Speed Racer. The R5 is said to be released near the end of the month, but you can’t really trust those dates always, so here is a fullscreen VHS screener for now. Quality for this release is decent for a VHS screener and from what I can tell there does not seem to be any interlacing problems. Audio is very clear but does have a very slight background crackle to it.

Plot: The story begins with Speed Racer who is a young man with natural racing instincts whose goal is to win The Crucible, a cross-country car racing rally that took the life of his older brother, Rex Racer. Speed is loyal to the family business, run by his parents Pops and Mom. Pops designed Speed’s car, the Mach 5. The owner of Royalton Industries makes Speed a lucrative offer, Speed rejects the offer, angering the owner. Speed also uncovers a secret that top corporate interests, including Royalton, are fixing races and cheating to gain profit. With the offer to Speed denied, Royalton wants to ensure that Speed will not win races. Speed finds support from his parents and his girlfriend Trixie and enters The Crucible in a partnership with his one-time rival, Racer X, seeking to rescue his family’s business and the racing sport itself.

There isn’t much to write about right now apart from few TV releases which were summarized in our TV roundup so I’ll cover this VHS screener of a fairly decent thriller The Life Before Her Eyes. The main reason why someone would decide to download this flick is probably Uma Thurman in the main role, who still look awesomely hot in her 37 years. According to few reviews I read through, it’s not a bad movie at all, filmed with $8m budget. The quality of this screener is decent as well, considering it’s from VHS tape, but the audio could be better.

A dramatic thriller about Diana, a suburban wife and mother who begins to question her seemingly perfect life–and perhaps her sanity–on the 15th anniversary of a tragic high school shooting that took the life of her best friend. This movie seems like a good one, I haven’t seen anything from Broderick since Inspector Gadget, to be honest. But, again, this scenegroup provides no details at all about their release. Taylor Peters is a television writer and producer working on a low-rated, little-respected half-hour sitcom.
