A pretty decent romantic drama Closing The Ring has been released by group RESERVED few hours ago. The movie isn’t too well-known but it collects a fairly positive feedback from audience and critics. According to the description and reviews, this is mostly “chick flick” so you can consider watching it with your girlfriend. The quality of this 2 CD rip is pretty great with a decent video bitrate and 6 channel AC3 stereo.

BaLD is one of the few XviD releasing scene groups that have started in relatively recent times that have really caught my eye. In the short time they have been active, they have made some major releases. Every once in a while they throw in a limited movie and this is one of those. I enjoy watching films about “the old days”, so I think I might have to give this one a watch. It’s interesting to see how times have changed. After reading a bit about this film it looks even more interesting than I had anticipated. The birth of rock n’ roll is something that should interest a lot of people.

Quality: This is a 125 minute long film and it is spread on 2 CD’s. It feels great to see one. The video quality of this release is the best that I have seen released in a long time. Great resolution, great video bitrate and 5.1 channel AC3 audio thrown in as well. This film has some really nice ratings and seems very interesting. Watch and enjoy the beautiful quality!

ReeGed informed you about the previous CAM release of this movie, and now the new group KAMERA have brough us a proper, and the quality on the source is quite good. I’d still recommend waiting for an R5 as watching cams is just worthless.

Quality: Typical cam really, a little unfocused, dark and grainy . The audio sounds tinny and there’s a slight echo to it, so wait for some line.

Seems like today is the day for updating that collection of dvd screeners with DVDRips, and here is another one of those. This was available in a pretty good DVDSCR format since quite some time, but if you waited for this, or never heard of the dvd screener, get this, although the ratings aren’t too hot, so be careful.

Quality: Just a few more minutes and we would have been able to enjoy this flick on a nice 2CD release (if the ripper chose to rip the movie this way that is), but who cares as the DVDR is out. Not much of a quality improvement over the previously available DVDSCR; 576×320 with a bitrate of 835kbit/s, and MP3 139kbit/s audio. English and Spanish subs are included.

We all know VoMiT as the group that mainly releases shit films that no one would watch of free will, but have they brought us a nice surprise today. Cleaner, a thriller starring some great names such as Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Mendes (God she’s hot), and Ed Harris is scheduled to be released retail in the US on May 27th, so we get a nice 15-day advance. This got a fairly good rating on IMDB, but the critics at RT bashed it with a 20%, but f*** the critics, and just download to see Eva Mendes .

Quality: Although most of the movies VoMiT releases aren’t good, the quality of their releases is consistent, and their nuke average shows this as its only 2.65%. For an 88 minute movie, this release is quite good with a nice res of 640×272 and a bitrate of 950kbps. The MP3 160kbit/s audio is fairly good as well, and English and French subs are included.

Do you remember Kevin Sorbo, an action hero from Hercules and a whole bunch of other TV shows? Well he returns with a new unknown TV flick Never Cry Werewolf which was released by group aAF few hours ago. This isn’t an innocent adventure but rather a horror with sci-fi elements. The rip offers standard digital source quality, which isn’t as goog as dvdrip but still pretty watchable.

When 16-year-old Loren (Nina Dobrev) and her family greet a new neighbor – a good-looking single guy and his dog – she senses something mysterious and dangerous about him. Her suspicions become further aroused when some of the locals begin disappearing one by one. Well, as expected, 21 turns up in the form of an R5 today. It showed up on Russian sites earlier and as usual it dosen’t take long for a scene group to sync English audio to the video source. Good news is that well known and respected group PUKKA are behind it and that they have supplied Line audio. This definitely looks like a film that is worth watching. Enjoy it people.

Quality: The video quality of this release looks very good for an R5. It looks very close to a R1 retail DVDRip. Audio isn’t the best. It sounds a bit muffled, but nothing too serious. All in all a very good R5. I recommend you download the sample below before you download the entire release.

Its been an interesting day in the scene. Some unusual releases have been released, and here is another one. The title of the release says it all pretty much. Its just one hour filled with a bunch of stunts on all kinds of vehicles, mostly on motorbikes however. Lots and lots of wheelying and donuts to enjoy. This film is made by an Australian stunt crew, who have worked on some of Bollywoods largest productions (yes, Bollywood, not Hollywood). HF.

Quality: aAF have done a good job ripping this DVD. 1443kb/s video bitrate and 192kb/s AC3 audio, which is great and a nice resolution as well. Unfortunately the people behind this film decided to add some annoying effects, such as a black frame which keeps coming back throughout the film. Whats the damn point? In any case, this is definitely worth a download if you’re a gearhead. For all the detailed info, check the NFO.

VoMiT released this film today which might actually be of interest to a large amount of readers of rlslog. “Gamers” is a mockumentary, similarly shot to TV series like “The Office” and “Trailer Park Boys”. As the name “mockumentary” implies, it is basically a fake (or scripted if you will) documentary. This movie is about a bunch of Dungeons & Dragons gamers. Only download this if you think you’d enjoy a drama/comedy about this subject. Don’t expect to see some modern game footage here. HF.

Quality: If you’ve seen any other DVDRip by VoMiT then you know what kind of video quality you can expect here. Standard 1CD release, but they’ve thrown in AC3 audio, which is nice.

Boot Camp released in a new dvdrip from group ELiA isn’t somehow superb or eagerly awaited movie, but a rather average thriller also known as Straight Edge. There’s one thing I would like to point out though: the main character is played by Ukrainian beauty Mila Kunis and she also has a short nude scene in this flick so if you like this rising star, it may be a reason why to get this 1 CD rip. The release contains Greek subtitles and was nuked for dupe (TheWretched, 04/19), but this shouldn’t matter too much.

A new group TraDIng StanDarDs brough us a cam of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and it was instantly nuked for CBR audio, which isn’t that big of a problem for most of us. This was released in the theaters about 3 weeks ago so this is rather late, but the quality is better than what you would expect. This got great rating on both IMDB and RT, so this is one of those movie where you want to wait for better quality.

Quality: This has got to be one of the best cams I’ve seen to this date, and if it wasn’t for the flicker, it could easily be passed as a telecine. Kick ass bitrate on the audio of 320kbps, and video bitrate of 2842kbps is just awesome.

Struggling musician Peter Bretter (Jason Segel) has spent six years idolizing his girlfriend, television star Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell). He’s the guy left holding her purse in paparazzi photos and accidentally omitted from acceptance award speeches. But his world is rocked when she dumps him and Peter finds himself alone. After an unsuccessful bout of womanizing and an on-the-job nervous breakdown, he sees that not having Sarah may just ruin his life.
