AXIAL brings a very good release in top quality for everyone to enjoy. Many of you have seen this, myself included. But the people who have missed this, should check this one. A good Internal release leaked by DoggPound. We often find some good movies released by this group. It’s not even a year that I re-checked this heavy drama movie starring Ice Cube, Omar Epps, Laurence Fishburne, Jennifer Connelly and many more. I’ll recommend this to the people who have missed it and I think that the people who already have seen this, will probably find the plot in their minds, so I don’t think it’s a good idea watching this more than once. I also have to mention that the director “John Singleton” brought “Boyz n the Hood” starring Ice Cube and “Poetic Justice” starring Tupac Shakur. Enjoy!

The third installment in John Singleton’s trilogy about South Central Los Angeles, HIGHER LEARNING examines mid-1990s university politics from racial, sexual, and economic standpoints. At fictional Columbus University (where a statue of the explorer stands witness to the dominant culture’s supremacy), three freshman arrive to find a campus ready to explode. Malik (Omar Epps) wavers among the influences of revolution-preaching super-senior Fudge (Ice Cube), no-excuses Professor Phipps (Laurence Fishburne), and his motivated girlfriend Deja (Tyra Banks). Kristen (Kristy Swanson), another neophyte, is thrown into sexual confusion when she meets a charismatic lesbian, while the socially inept Remy (Michael Rapaport) can only fit in with the local skinheads.

The storylines cross and complicate as each character tries to discover what’s right, but the potential for violence grows with every wrong choice they make. Singleton recruited an emsemble of considerable talent to flesh out the complex plot, which allows him to deal efficiently with a breadth of concerns without preaching.

Hahaha, a very nice comedy from the past just appeared online. Tom Hanks stars in this fantasy film pretending a older man with the brains of just an 13 years old boy. I remember I saw this movie years years ago when I was still going to grade school. It’s a classic for many of us! The quality is decent and FRAGMENT surprises us again. Enjoy!

This movie starring Jackie Chan has several names: “Kwai tsan tseh”, “Spartan X” and “Spanish Connection” and stars the other 2 crazy friends of Jackie Chan, “Sammo Hung Kam-Bo” and “Biao Yuen”. All three guys where also taking martial arts training together and have made many movies together. This is a old funny full action film with good known Jackie Chan. I have to admit that I have a 50 Original DVD Box of Jackie Chan and have seen almost all the movie he ever played in. A very interesting film and the people who like Jackie Chan and have missed this, will love it. Enjoy, once iLS has released it in decent quality.

The #102 of the IMDB top 250 is online once again. This time PFa brings the “DC” Director’s Cut of this film staring Harrison Ford. I have seen this movie years years ago when I was still a child. But a few weeks ago I wanted to refresh my memory and I found the release of “aXXo” somewhere online and watched it. Another unknown movie for me that seems to be interesting staring Jeff Bridges and Edward Furlong is out. It is a crime/drama film about a guy that comes out of jail and meets somebody… This film is FS “full screen” and I don’t think that this will make everybody wanna see it. The people who have seen this could give us some advice if it’s worth seeing, thanks!

A boy longing for a relationship with his newly-released ex-convict dad, tracks him down and begs to stay with him. Grudgingly, the father agrees and they set up house in a residential hotel. Jobs are hard to come by for ex-cons “who can’t do nothin’,” but the father finally gets work washing windows, and instructs his son to go find a school to attend. As the father and son struggle to become a family, the father tries to resist the temptation to return to the streets and slip back into his old ways. They plan to fulfill the father’s dreams of resettling in Alaska, but a feud between the two has dire consequences, leading to a tragic ending.

The guys at AXIAL still impress me by bringing 8 releases the last 3 days, their work is just great! It is a movie that I never heard about but it seems to be very good.
