As suggested by “Marcus Brody” in the section comments of the previous old DVDRiP I thought it would be nice to inform some of you about this old movie that AXIAL group released a few days ago. It is a good rated sci-fi thriller starring James Woods. AXIAL quality in a one CD cause the movie is only 88 minutes long. Enjoy!

The president of the Civic TV – channel 83, Max Renn (James Wood), is always looking for new cheap and erotic movies for his cable television. When his employee Harlan (Peter Dvorsky) decodes a pirate video broadcast showing torture, murder and mutilation called Videodrome, Max becomes obsessed to get these movies for his channel. He contacts his supplier Masha (Lynne Gorman) and asks her to find the responsible for the transmission. A couple of days later, Masha tells that Videodrome is real, actually snuff movies. Max’s sadomasochist girlfriend Nicki Brand (Deborah Harry) decides to travel to Pittsburgh to have an audition to the show. Max investigates further, and through a video of the expert Professor Brian O’Blivion (Jack Creley), he learns that that TV screen would be the retina of the mind’s eye, being part of the brain, and Videodrome transmission creates a brain tumor in the viewer, changing the reality in video hallucination.

It has been a while that a release group released an old movie, a few days ago AXIAL brought out an old movie from back 1983 but I didn’t post it cause it was not interesting at all. Now group “qNs” releases a decent comedy from a 2 years ago starring one of my favorites “Ryan Reynolds” and some other known actors. Group “qNs” doesn’t contain a sample in this release so I’m not 100% sure about their quality, but I would like to think that it’s a decent release. Enjoy!

PFa did a very good job bringing immediately both movies in very good quality. So this is a great opportunity for the people who have missed this 2 good action movies to check the out. Matt Damon is again “Jason Bourne”. As you can see the second part of this movie is the same rated as the first one, that means that you will enjy the second part as you did with the first. Enjoy this 2 films and I think that the winter we will be able to watch the 3rd one.

When a Chinese vice-premier is executed by notorious assassin Jason Bourne, it causes serious trouble and hubbub in the CIA. Why? There is no “Jason Bourne”, as that name is just a cover for CIA agent David Webb (Damon), so it appears that someone has taken the “Bourne identity” (get it?) away from him, creating a diplomatic crisis between the U.S.A. and China. It’s up to the real “Bourne” to find out who’s behind this ruse, and hopefully return peace to the two nations before they go to war over it, while also protecting his girlfriend, Marie Kreutz, whose life is threatened by this latest imbroglio.

This is one of the action films I saw 2-3 years after it was released and I was amazed, a really nice action film with Matt Damon and Clive Owen. A very good recommendation to the people who haven’t seen this movie, you will like every moment of this film and enjoy it. In 2004 the second part was released with the name “The Bourne Supremacy” and in August 2007 the third part will be released “The Bourne Ultimatum”. Enjoy!

As I said yesterday I should post the other 3 old movies PFa released yesterday. This film is a good rated one, starring 2007 Oscar Winner “Forrest Whitaker” for his role in “The Last King of Scotland”. It seems to be a decent crime/drama film from back 1999. Now I found out that this film exist I’m curious to see another one with Whitaker playing in it. Some of you may have seen it and can give us some advise. The quality of PFa as always good. Enjoy!

Another good rated movie is released by PFa from a movie that I never heard of but really has a interesting plot and a very good rating. I don’t have much to say about this, but I can only inform you that PFa has released another 3 movies that I will post later today or tomorrow. Director Michael Cuesta follows up his debut film L.I.E. with another harrowing coming-of-age tale in TWELVE AND HOLDING. Cuesta casts young Conor Donovan as his lead, with the impressive actor playing twins–the sociable athlete Rudy and the distinctly introspective Jacob. Joining Donovan in the cast are Jesse Camacho as Leonard, a paunchy kid reminiscent of Jerry O’Connell’s Vern in STAND BY ME, and Zoe Weizenbaum as Malee, a quietly disturbed young girl with a fractured family life. The five 12-year-olds are close friends, but their lives are thrown into turmoil when a prank by local bullies goes horribly wrong and Rudy is burned alive in a tree house.

As Jacob’s parents fall apart at the news, the rudderless surviving twin realizes he can’t rely on them for support, so he makes the surprising decision to make regular visits to the two brothers who killed Rudy as they languish in a juvenile detention center. Meanwhile, Malee copes with the tragedy by obsessing over an attractive older guy named Gus (Jeremy Renner) and Leonard gets on a health kick despite his overweight parents’ protestations.

Cuesta’s film draws on elements of similar genre favorites, not only STAND BY ME but Jacob Estes’s MEAN CREEK and even the work of Todd Solondz and Gregg Araki. But TWELVE AND HOLDING is not a facile reproduction of other work; instead it’s a startling kids’-eye view of poor parenting and woeful neglect. The four leads give astonishingly mature performances, and Cuesta manages to surpass his meagre budget by creating a stylistic tour-de-force that may leave anxious parents wondering what their kids are doing in their spare time.

Another very good movie by PFa. My first and most favorite actor Denzel Washington has brought some good movies and this is one of it. I have seen more than 20 movies starring Denzel and I have to say that all of them were good. I have seen him playing many many different roles in many different plots. For the people who have missed this film, recommended to watch! Quality = PFa = Good = Enjoy!

A wave of kidnappings has swept through Mexico, feeding a growing sense of panic among its wealthier citizens, especially parents. In one six-day period, there were 24 abductions, leading many to hire bodyguards for their children.

Into this world enters John Creasy (DENZEL WASHINGTON), a burned-out ex-CIA operative/assassin who has given up on life. Creasy’s friend Rayburn (CHRISTOPHER WALKEN) brings him to Mexico City to be a bodyguard to nine-year-old Pita Ramos (DAKOTA FANNING), daughter of industrialist Samuel Ramos (MARC ANTHONY) and his wife Lisa (RADHA MITCHELL). Creasy is not interested in being a bodyguard, especially to a youngster, but for lack of something better to do, he accepts the assignment.

Creasy barely tolerates the precocious child and her pestering questions about him and his life. But slowly, she chips away at his seemingly impenetrable exterior, his defenses drop, and he opens up to her. Creasy’s new-found purpose in life is shattered when Pita is kidnapped. Despite being mortally wounded during the kidnapping, Creasy is “a man on fire,” as he vows to kill anyone involved in or profiting from the kidnapping. And no one can stop him.
