One of the movie I’ve missed back in 2003 is The Cooler starring William H. Macy. Well rated on the IMDB website I think I’ll once try to download something from a public tracker once the UNDEAD releases are not published on my private tracker. I would like to hear some comments from people who have seen it and let us know something about it.

Bernie Lootz (Macy) is the unluckiest man in Las Vegas… he’s so unlucky, it’s contagious. Looking to knock out their highest rollers, one of the last mob-run casinos in town, the Shangri-La Hotel and Casino downtown, decides to use Bernie as a “cooler” to defuse their lucky streaks. The scheme goes fine until Bernie falls in love with a cocktail waitress, Natalie (Bello), who becomes his “lady luck”, much to the chagrin of the casino’s crooked director (Baldwin) who aims to break up the romance, and Bernie’s newfound luck.

Another blockbuster back online. I really enjoyed this movie too back in 2005 when it first came out on DVD. Very nice brought into screen. Jake Gyllenhaal brings us another good performance. Many of you already seen it and will might watch it again. The people who love war movies and have missed this, watch it! you will really like it. Enjoy!

Jarhead (the self-imposed moniker of the Marines) follows “Swoff” (Gyllenhaal), a third-generation enlistee, from a sobering stint in boot camp to active duty, sporting a sniper’s rifle and a hundred-pound ruck on his back through Middle East deserts with no cover from intolerable heat or from Iraqi soldiers, always potentially just over the next horizon. Foxx portrays Sergeant Sykes, a Marine lifer who heads up Swofford’s scout/sniper platoon, while Sarsgaard is Swoff’s friend and mentor, Troy, a die-hard member of STA-their elite Marine Unit.

Group UNDEAD brought the last days a few old blockbusters back online in very good quality. The first to be posted: I, Robot. A Sci-Fi film out 2004 starring Will Smith and Bridget Moynahan. I liked this movie allot when I first watched it on DVD. Recommended to all who have missed this decent film starring one of my favorites actors. Enjoy!

Another film appeared yesterday by group JAVLiU that releases decent x264 DVDRiP’s. This time the DVDRiP brings the film starring Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson that released in 2006. I remember I went with some friends to the cinema to watch this and I was disappointed that I went, I had expected more. Another good movie by PFa. This one is a New Zealand production and is very good rated and many good reviews all over the internet. IMDB and RottenTomatoes recommend this movies to everyone! I suggest you to watch it if nothing better to do. Enjoy!

Two days ago PFa brought out 2 internal releases. Sneakers seems to be a good movie that has to make with “Hackers”. Robert Redford stars in this film back from 15 years ago. I have never heard about it but I’ll check it for sure cause I like all things that have to do with computers. Many of you will have already seen this and some other have already download it. The 4th DVDRiP that came out by AXIAL earlier is “Dracula” starring Gary Oldman, Anthony Hopkins, Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves. A well rated movie that won 3 Oscars back in 1993. I don’t remember seeing this movie but I think it should be very good once all reviews say that. People who like “Dracula” movies and have missed it, here you go. Enjoy!

Vlad the Impaler (Gary Oldman), a count and fierce warrior, goes off to fight in the Crusades. Falsely hearing of his death, his beloved wife Elisabeta kills herself. Upon returning home and finding her, Vlad renounces God and becomes Count Dracula, embracing Satan in exchange for immortality. Flash forward to 1897 London. Jonathan Harker (Keanu Reeves) leaves fiancée Mina (Winona Ryder) and journeys to Transylvania to meet Count Dracula (Gary Oldman) to complete a real estate transaction. After seeing a photo of Mina, whom he believes to be his wife reincarnated, Dracula keeps Jonathan as a prisoner in his castle while he travels to London to meet his long lost love.

In his version of the oft-told tale, Francis Ford Coppola takes Bram Stoker’s archetypical horror story and accentuates the romantic angle. Blood still flows in large amounts, and Coppola opted to do all the eye-pleasing visual effects in-camera, utilizing shadow puppets, smoke, miniatures, and other time-honored tricks of the trade–creating a visual style not unlike that of a storybook come to life.
