MHQ have released an iNTERNAL release of Scarface. I’m sure many have heard of this movie and are fans. I really loved this movie a lot. It has good action, a good story and great acting. The movie stars the great Al Pacino as Tony Montana, and Steven Bauer who plays Manny Ribera as they take the fast lane to the top of the drug empire in the early 80’s. I think this was one of the best roles Al Paicno has played, he’s is a great actor. A really different type of movie called “It’s Impossible to Learn to Plow by Reading Books” is about nothing. The film has very little dialog and has no climax. The main character travels about the country meeting with various acquaintances when not taking part in various mundane, day-to-day activities. MHQ releases a fairly older DVDRip. Enjoy!

Richard Linklater’s first (and little seen) film is as mentally unwieldy as its title. But under the cryptic title and Jarmusch-like non-narrative is an interesting — if far from classic — narrative on the boringness of daily life (at least for Gen X slackers). A direct precursor to Slacker, Linklater’s characters here are far more unmotivated in life. At least in Slacker people are trying to do something — even if it’s fixing a car. Plow’s characters are content to ride busses and watch TV, while Linklater’s unblinking camera captures it all. As a meditation on life, solitude, and how mundane traveling can be it’s got a little something to it, but as a narrative it offers a mere taste of what Linklater would become capable of. Shot on Super 8 and packaged on DVD with Criterion’s release of Slacker.

I haven’t had the chance to watch this movie as i brought the DVD a few years ago. Al Pacino won an  Oscar for his role as Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade in this movie. Scent of a Woman is a 1992 film which tells the story of a preparatory school student who takes a job as an assistant to an irascible, blind, medically retired Army officer. It stars Al Pacino, Chris O’Donnell, James Rebhorn, Gabrielle Anwar, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. It is a remake of a movie made by Dino Risi in 1974, Profumo di donna, in which Vittorio Gassman played one of his best known roles.

In New Hampshire, Charlie Simms attends the Baird School, an all boys boarding school with rigorous classes and expensive enrollment. Yearning for cash from a part-time job so he can return to his family in Oregon for upcoming Christmas Break, the innocent Simms accepts a job for “babysitting” at a nearby household. The job is not what he expects, for he is commissioned to watch over an unlikeable, blunt behaved blind ex-colonel named Slade who has a keen ability at selecting his aides. Because of his sympathetic and integral nature, Charlie agrees to the job. Before he can even locate his level of comfort in the job, Simms is unexpectedly taken to New York City with the colonel, where the ex-military man has several agendas of his own.

4D Man is a whopping 50 year old sci-fi thriller released in dvdrip quality by group FiCO. DVDRiP is very relative in this case as the quality looks more like a screener due to the old age of this flick. 4D Man stars Robert Lansing in the main role. Released on 1 CD with full screen video.

Two brothers, scientists Scott and Tony Nelson, develop an amplifier which enables a person to enter a 4th dimensional state, allowing him to pass through any object. Scott experiments on himself and discovers that each time he passes through something he ages rapidly. He begins killing people, sucking out their life energies and regaining his youth as a result. It falls to Tony and Scott’s girlfriend, Linda, to try to put a stop to his murderous rampage.

Alright guys yesterday I informed you about the Fast and the Furious Trilogy. Today i decided to post another movie which its sequel will be releasing soon, Crank. I remember watching this one a while back. To me it was just a popcorn flick. But the movie does star a pretty good actor Jason Statham, who is well known for his role in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch. and Revolver . So here is a collection of the movie releases. A pretty old crime/comedy flick has been released. This is a film from Hong Kong and its in Cantonese. Reading the plot the movie sounds really interesting, although won’t be watching it. Anyways an active releaser AsiSter releases a 1cd rip of the movie. Subtitles are included with the release!

Thirty million old bank notes are left uncremated and locked up in the cremation station. Here we have a classic iNTERNAL rip of Citizen Kane. Considered by many to be the best film ever made, this is the story of Charles Foster Kane. An interesting INTERNAL rip has been released by PARTiCLE. Dodesukaden is a film by Akira Kurosawa set in a Japanese rubbish dump in the period immediately following World War II. The film focuses lives of a variety of characters who happen to live in a dump. The movie is directed by Akira Kurosawa, who is a well known writer and director. A nice 2cd DVDRip by group PARTiCLE which includes subs.

Episodes from the lives of a group of Tokyo slum-dwellers: Rokkuchan, a retarded boy who brings meaning and routine to his life by driving an imaginary streetcar; children who support their parents by scrounging or by tedious and ill-paying endeavours; schemers who plot or dream of escaping the shackles of poverty. The critical failure of Dodesukaden sent Kurosawa into a deep depression, and in 1971 he attempted suicide. Despite having slashed himself over 30 times with a razor, Kurosawa survived his suicide attempt; however, he would not return to filmmaking for five years, releasing Dersu Uzala in 1975.

Well there is the 2008 movie named Valkyrie which is the same plot as this movie. I still haven’t watched that movie but i am hearing that it was not that accurate to the actual events . I’ve read a few comments about this movie and they say it is quite faithful to the historical events which it portrays. It is about the 20 July 1944 plot by German officers to kill Adolf Hitler. Brad Davis stars as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg who plants a bomb in the conference room at the Führer’s headquarters. FRAGMENT released this yesterday, with a nice 1cd rip.

“The Plot to Kill Hitler” is a historical recreation of the 1944 attempt by several German High Command Officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler and take control of the German government. Lead by Wehrmacht Colonel Count von Staufenberg, this group of brave men managed to plant a bomb in Hitler’s battlefield headquarters. By sheer luck, Hitler survived the blast and the SS quickly arrested and executed all those involved in the affair.

Seems like OSiRiS are releasing many of the classics back to the scene as iNTERNAL releases, which is great for us as we can catch up with classic movies like these. Well here is Pulp Fiction. Probably most of you all know about this movie. Quentin Tarantino is a very talented director and i think this is his best work. OSiRiS releases a 2cd rip of the movie.

Pumpkin and Honey Bunny are two thieves who, while dining at a coffee shop, decide that the best thing to do is to rob it. Vincent later must also show Mrs. Wallace a good time while her husband is out. Butch Coolidge is an aging prizefighter who is being paid to “take a dive”, but instead, accidentally kills him opponent, and tries to flee town, but not before getting his dead father’s lucky golden watch. These four seemingly unrelated stories are interwoven together in a non-linear fashion.

I remember watching this movie in the cinemas when it had came out. I was a huge fan of the games as well. I don’t really remember a lot from it but i do recall some scenes. We have another iNTERNAL release for the day. OSiRiS releases this classic movie.

It was directed by James Dearden, and based on the novel of the same name by Ira Levin whose book won the 1954 Edgar Award for “Best First Novel.” It has been adapted for the cinema twice.
