Dark City 1998 INTERNAL DVDRip XviD-KiNESiS

First there was darkness…, then came… the strangers.
Hello everyone! First of all, I want to say that these news are dedicated to a special friend I have made. Thank you, I really enjoy the time with you
Now on with my post!
As u can see nothing good seems to come out of the scene, so I thought myself I might delight you guys with a Staff-Pick to pass some time. The sentence written in bold on top is the first line you hear, when you watch that movie. In front of you a pitch black sky with an ocean of stars reveals itself. Welcome to the Dark City!
I have chosen this movie, because I was always fascinated by the attempt to capture the word “infinity” into graphical elements and the creators of Dark City have done a damn good job. By creating the never ending, always changing city you empathize quiet a lot with John, the main actor, who on his attempt to flee the city is never able to find rest. The same counts for you, this movie has one of the shortest average shot lengths (ASL) of any modern narrative production at 1.8 seconds. There is a cut almost every 2 seconds. This means you never get to analyze a scene properly, because the picture always changes and except that, there is almost total darkness everywhere anyway…
Thank you, dear reader for reading this and have a lot of fun with Dark City

Synopsis: Upon awakening with a start in an icy bathtub in a strange room–with a woman’s dead body inconveniently nearby–John Murdoch can’t remember how he got there. With a police detective hot on his trail and a psychiatrist skulking around, Murdoch discovers that the key to his mystery is the presence of strange extraterrestrial creatures, the Strangers, who are experimenting with the memories of the humans in his city–from which there may be no escape. Ambitious sci-fi noir, with rich production design and a dense, Kafkaesque concept.

It has been two months since I posted here on Releaselog and I have seen so many things changing, new editors, people leaving the team… At the moment I don’t even have time to comment, not even to post. Once DeViSE is rolling with the old DVDRip’s right now I thought of writing something and posting their latest release. This western was released yesterday and stars Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman and Richard Harris. With an 8.3 average, this movie has the 115th place on the IMDB Top 250. Directed by Clint Eastwood himself and won 4 Oscars back in 1993. Enjoy DEViSE’s super quality and do not forget about me
Seeing as this movie was not posted on here before, and we all know it should, I decided to take the liberty of posting. This must be one of the best and most moving films I’ve ever seen, starring Russel Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix this movie won 5 oscars and another 45 different awards! I’ve never seen the extended edition for some reason but I did see the theatrical cut many times, and it was good.
I’ve been meaning to do a ‘Staff Pick’ for this movie for a while now, but wasn’t able to find a torrent for a high quality release. UNDEAD came to my aid with this fantastic release that includes very high quality video and AC3 audio on 2 CDs. If you’ve not heard about this movie, you have been seriously deprived. Maintaining an incredible score of 8.6 on IMDB with over 179,000 voters, #33 in the IMDB prestigious Top-250 movies list, and 85% fresh on RT, famous for its harsh reviewers, this is literally one of the best movies ever made. Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kevin Spacey act-out an engrossing story that peaks only at its very end. The only thing better than this would be the same movie in HD.
Three graduates from constable academy are sent to their rookie jobs in a modest sized town. Instructed to enforce a royal edict to end all gambling, the three friends immediately run afoul of a corrupt magistrate and his crooked police force. The police captain regularly confiscates criminal’s loot and shares it with the police officers, he also gives some back to the criminals and lets them free! The three new officers are taken aback by the rampant corruption and are not sure what to do. One wants to fight the system, Sun Chien doesn’t want to endanger his family’s income and the third rookie just wants to quit. Finally they take a vow to uphold justice but immediately are sent to capture the “King of Robbers”. The wicked police captain doesn’t back them up hoping that the “King” will kill the idealistic rookies for him.
A Hong Kong taxi driver suffers after being cursed by a sorcerer he accidentally hit with his cab. After the driver’s wife is raped and killed by teenage hooligans, he pleads with the sorcerer to lift the hex and restore his wife to the land of the living. Otherworldly zombie chaos ensues.
Record shop clerk and aspiring DJ Tsutomu searches for his masculinity when challenged to a kendo duel.
Here’s an old spooky one from popular group VoMiT. “Night Caller From Outer Space“, made in 1965! There isn’t a lot of info about this film and I think you know why. But I guess if we have any old timers out there this is for you. I don’t know how this is a DVDRip when in the
The year is 1997. Al Pacino still makes great movies, Keanu Reeves is at his prime, Charlize Theron is hotter than ever. This quality Crime/Thriller brings them all together for an exciting ride. If you’re a fan of the genre, or any of these excellent actors, then you will thoroughly enjoy this one.
