A new group TraDIng StanDarDs brough us a cam of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and it was instantly nuked for CBR audio, which isn’t that big of a problem for most of us. This was released in the theaters about 3 weeks ago so this is rather late, but the quality is better than what you would expect. This got great rating on both IMDB and RT, so this is one of those movie where you want to wait for better quality.

Quality: This has got to be one of the best cams I’ve seen to this date, and if it wasn’t for the flicker, it could easily be passed as a telecine. Kick ass bitrate on the audio of 320kbps, and video bitrate of 2842kbps is just awesome.

Struggling musician Peter Bretter (Jason Segel) has spent six years idolizing his girlfriend, television star Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell). Another greatly awaited action movie from Wachowski brothers enters the scene cycle: group TBG released a first cam of Speed Racer with Emile Hirsch in the main role. This group wasn’t a scene one in the past but they are a regular one now with their releases being pred at various sites, so we will post about it here. The quality of this rip is prety good, but it contains (Dutch) hardsubs in the image. Besides that, the image is really clean, colours very vivid and it’s all very neat for a first cam. You can expect a propered version without encoded subs soon.

The story begins with Speed Racer who is a young man with natural racing instincts whose goal is to win The Crucible, a cross-country car racing rally that took the life of his older brother, Rex Racer. Speed is loyal to the family business, run by his parents Pops and Mom. Pops designed Speed’s car, the Mach 5. The owner of Royalton Industries makes Speed a lucrative offer, Speed rejects the offer, angering the owner. Speed also uncovers a secret that top corporate interests, including Royalton, are fixing races and cheating to gain profit. With the offer to Speed denied, Royalton wants to ensure that Speed will not win races. Speed finds support from his parents and his girlfriend Trixie and enters The Crucible in a partnership with his one-time rival, Racer X, seeking to rescue his family’s business and the racing sport itself.

Well, this got released about an hour ago and there has already been nuke issues with it. More on that in the quality section below. This is a new film with two Hollywood stars Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz. Just hearing Ashton Kutchers name makes me cringe. In my opinion he is one of the most awful “famous” actors in Hollywood. Watching him in punk’d was even worse. He seems to believe that he has a sense of humour, but Mr. Kutcher, let me assure you that you don’t. All in all this seems like a really bad film (4.1 on IMDB) and the CAM quality won’t help. To be honest I don’t see why ANYONE in the entire world would bother downloading this.

Quality: Pretty soon after release, it got nuked for [bad.res_uncropped_no.ivtc_cbr.audio]. Then it got unnuked, saying basically the opposite, that the res is fine and that audio is VBR. Now it has been nuked again with reason being that its a bad crop (proof). This seems to be the end of the story. If you are insane enough to watch a CAM of this film anyways, I doubt a bad crop will stop your madness. Apart from the general awful quality you can expect from a CAM, you can hear the damn projector reel running in the background (Someone in the IRC chan noted that its a diesel engine due to it being recorded in a drive through cinema. In any case its damn annoying).

After the previous cam of this movie from PreVail, the new group iSO700 bring us a proper, and this time its not subbed . I’m looking forward to seeing this when a better quality release comes around as it might well be worth a watch, and it seems that the IMDB voters agree with me.

Quality: Ok well just by running this through MediaInfo I can give 2 good nuke reasons; the resolution (720×326 needs iNT tag) which isn’t a big deal to anyone, but the big reason is that no ivtc was used which resulted in dupe framing so expect a nuke soon. The quality of this release isn’t that great either, so wait for the R5 to enjoy it in good quality.

The situation around Iron Man, a recent superhero movie, is getting little complicated -there are numerous releases appearing everywhere, most of them non-scene or mislabeled telesyncs though. Guys from iSO700 released a proper of the first cam from Prevail, which had Chinese hardsubs encoded in the image. This new version is without any subs but the image and audio quality is terrible - especially in case of action movie, which is well worth your money for the cinema ticket. There’s been a nuke for CBR audio too, but it doesn’t really matter in case of cam. I can’t recommend this rip.

After the “Iron Man“ CAM same PreVail guys bring us another CAM but this time Harold & Kumar’s sequel under the name “Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay” with same actors duo: John Cho and Kal Penn. Personally i liked the first one so I’ll definitely check it (movie itself not this CAM version) and according to IMDb rating looks promising too. Quality of release is a lot better than “Iron Man” CAM, video is ok, “watchable”, with Spanish subtitles (i think), audio sounds kinda tiny to me. But I’m not a fan of CAMs anyway, so I’ll wait for a better copy.

Here comes first scene (CAM) release (same day with its official launch) of Iron Man movie based on Marvel’s comic book character under the same name. A pretty new scene group iSO700 released a first cam of British comedy Three and Out. I’m wondering if this group is just an another branch of p2p thiefs from CAMERA, because this release is again only a reencode from TorrentLeech. Three And Out is a comedy about how far you would go to change your life - and it is pretty crazy as far as I can tell from the reviews and trailers. The main role is played by Mackenzie Crook (Ragetti in Pirates of Caribbean) and there’s also Colm Meaney who is popular in the Great Britain as well. The first reviews aren’t too positive, but a good quality (sample #1, #2, #3) of this cam gives you a great opportunity to decide for yourself.
