Earlier tonight I posted the standard DVDRip of this movie “Funny People”. And this is what I’m waiting for, 720p BluRay released by CBGB, also an UNRATED version. “Funny People” is an American comedy-drama film, written, co-produced, and directed by Judd Apatow, and starring Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen as stand-up comedians. Size is 1.5 DVD-5.

PLOT: George is a very successful stand up comedian who learns that he has an untreatable blood disorder and is given less than a year to live. Ira is a struggling up-and-coming stand up comedian who works at a deli and has yet to figure out his onstage persona. One night, these two perform at the same club and George takes notice of Ira. George hires Ira to be his semi-personal assistant as well as his friend.

WOW, don’t we have a classic here? If you haven’t seen this one yet you’re missing out on of the best British crime/comedies. This is Guy Ritchie’s first film he wrote and directed, as well as introducing Vinnie Jones and Jason Statham. If you’re a fan of films such as Snatch., you’ll love this one.

Eddy has been known as a cardsharp since he was young. So he and his three friends Soap, Tom and Bacon all decide to chip in £25,000 each to allow him to play in an illegal high-roller game run by one of the local villains, Hatchet Harry. However, Eddy didn’t realize the game was crooked and he ends up owing Harry £500,000 with dire threats about losing his fingers one at a time if he doesn’t pay within a week! Eddy and his friends discuss various completely illegal schemes to obtain the money and eventually decide to rip-off the gang of thieves next door who themselves are planning to raid a clandestine drug growing operation which keeps all of its money in shoe boxes where they grow the cannabis plants. The scheme is simple enough but the best laid plans of mice and men always seems to go awry as does this one. As extreme chaos breaks loose the violence and associated body count spiral out of control, Eddy and his friends realize that they are out of their depth and desperately try to find a way out before they too find themselves among the casualties!

I guess this is a classic one, and it was released a few days ago by group HDMI. “Clerks” is a 1994 American comedy film written and directed by Kevin Smith, who also appears in the film as Silent Bob. Starring Brian O’Halloran as Dante Hicks and Jeff Anderson as Randal Graves, it presents a day in the lives of two store clerks and their acquaintances. This “First Cut” version is 7 minutes longer than the normal one. Size is 1 DVD-5, check it out!

PLOT: It’s one wild day in the life of a pair of overworked counter jockeys whose razor-sharp wit and on-the-job antics give a whole new meaning to customer service! Even while braving a nonstop parade of unpredictable shoppers, the clerks manage to play hockey on the roof, visit a funeral home, and straighten out their offbeat love lives. The boss is nowhere in sight, so you can bet anything can –and WILL– happen when these guys are left to run the store.

After decent dvd screener and dvdrip, guys from CiNEFiLE released also BluRay rip of itneresting documentary Food Inc. This movie has a seriously high IMDB rating and was awarded by numerous film prizes and awards. The tagline “You’ll never look at dinner the same way again” is basically the summar of feelings you will have after the final credits – it’s that impressive. Flawless quality in 720p.

The film’s first segment examines the industrial production of meat (chicken, beef & pork), calling it inhumane and economically and environmentally unsustainable. The second segment looks at the industrial production of grains and vegetables (primarily corn and soy beans), labeling this economically and environmentally unsustainable. The film’s third and final segment is about the economic and legal power of the major food companies, whose livelihoods are based on supplying cheap but contaminated food, the heavy use of petroleum-based chemicals (largely pesticides and fertilizers), and the promotion of unhealthy food consumption habits by the American public.

Last night METiS released the 720p BluRay Rip of “Terminator Salvation”, but seems no editor was interested and I was so tired last night and went to bed quite early without music pack again :) Anyway, this fourth installment in the Terminator series was directed by McG and starring Christian Bale as future Resistance leader John Connor and Sam Worthington as cyborg Marcus Wright. The film also introduces a young Kyle Reese from the original 1984 film, played by Anton Yelchin, as well as depicting the origin of the T-800 Model 101 Terminator. Size of this one is 1.5 DVD5, enjoy!

PLOT: John Connor is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators.
