Group SKIDROW released two small games during this slow night and here’s the first of them: a funny adventure Jack Keane from German developer Deck 13. This is basically a conversion of old good LucasArts titles like Broken Sword or Monkey Island into the modern world, but it can’t be compared with the old masterpieces in terms of gameplay. Anyway, if you like point and click adventures, this can be worth downloading to kill few hours.

Jack Keane is presented in an enthralling atmosphere with masses of well-elaborated characters, plenty of cinematic cut scenes with many funny allusions to famous movies, video and computer games. Jack Keane is completely designed in 3-D and still maintains a classic adventure atmosphere.

The story starts in London, where Jack is chased by professional thugs. While escaping, he gets assigned by the queen to go the island of the evil “Doctor T.”. On the way to the island, Jack meets his dream girl Armanda and together they slowly discover the plans of the evil “Doctor” and his carnivorous plants. Will they manage to cross his plans and finally save the world?

Trackmania is an arcade racing game for windows which has grown in popularity immensly recently. The basis of the game is that you can build your own, incredible tracks and then race them with your car. I’ve only played one of the earlier TrackMania games once before, but I can definitely recommend it. I have some friends who are glued to this thing. This version of TrackMania is marketed as the “Ultimate edition”. It is only 1.08 GB, so you know you’ll get your bandwidths worth on this release (”Forever” is basically a patch, but it became so big that they gave it its own name). You will NOT be able to play this game online unless you have a legitimate CD-Key. If you want to do that then download the free version called TrackMania Nations Forever here.

Note: I know some of you have problems with the tracks to choose etc. To fix that do this:
1.) you go to my documents
2.) and then cut the trackmania folder (and put it somewhere) not trackmania united
3.) on the next start of the game you will have to create a new profile >:/ but u can choose all cars etc.

I’m not really used to see propers of Razor1911’s releases, but it seems the glorious days for this group are definitely over. ViTALiTY released a proper of Turok, a sci-fi first person shooter which turned out to be not such a bomb as expected, packed in a massive 12.5 GB release. The proper reason is obviously a bad crack - as the NFO mentions, Razor1911 used emulation instead of actual cracking, which results in poor performance and most of all, various crashes during the game. I suggest downloading a 3 meg crack only, getting the whole game would be a terrible waste of bandwith…

Proper notes:

RAZOR1911 gave up trying to rebuild the game code because
of all their previous fuck-ups and decided to create an
emulator for the SecuROM VM.

Their emulator crashes inside the VM after entering the
SecuROM virtual machine.

It’s sad to see that groups who were respected in the

The world goes crazy: AVENGED just pred a CloneDVD of an action game Turok, a remake of 2001 classic, which has insane 12.5 gigabytes. This first person shooter was inspired by Far Cry and similar games, which combines a reality (black ops commando member) and sci-fi elements (dinosaurs and other creatures). Yeah, we do not normally inform about console games, but Grand Theft Auto 4 is a game of the the year without any doubts so it deserves at least a short mention. This fresh release from group iCON for XboX 360 has 6.36 GB and is not region free - which means only people in Japan, Asia, Australia and few European countries can play it. As Rockstar doesn’t publish this game until next week, it’s possible they will ban users playing this version of GTA 4 on their XboX, so NFO recommends not going online until the next week. I’m eagerly awaiting the PC version!
