American punk rock group Against Me! have released their fourth album today “New Wave”. Against Me! is an American punk rock band formed in Naples, Florida, later relocated to Gainesville, Florida. Their first full-length album, released on No Idea Records in 2002, is Reinventing Axl Rose. They have released music on Misanthrope Records, Crasshole Records, Plan It X Records, Sabot Productions, No Idea Records, and most recently, Fat Wreck Chords. In December of 2005, they signed to Sire Records, and are scheduled to release their major label debut, New Wave, on July 10, 2007.

Against Me! announced on their MySpace on December 29, 2006 that their debut album on Sire will be titled New Wave. The album is ten songs, stretching just over 30 minutes, and it will be released on July 10, 2007.  Even before release, New Wave has been yet another significant source of controversy between fans. Some claim that the layered and produced style Vig is known for contradicts Against Me!’s early work, while others are accepting of the style change.

Well a new rock album this time from one of my favorite bands Foo Fighters. Thsi is 10th anniversary edition of their 1997 release The Colour and Shape. This album features some of their best songs like “My Hero” and “Everlong”. If you like the Foo Fighters or rock type music this is a must have. Enjoy !!

As strange as it may seem now, there was a time when Foo Fighters werent a household name when they werent a staple of every rock playlist on the planet and when Dave Grohl was a drummer with a knack for hooks, not the leading man of American rock and roll.

The release of The Colour And The Shape in May, 1997 changed all that. The Colour And The Shape was the first Foo Fighters album recorded as a band. Bassist Nate Mendel and guitarist Pat Smear had toured with Grohl following the 1995 release of eponymous debut, Foo Fighters, but hadnt contributed to the recording. Gil Norton - already legendary for his work with the Pixies, among others - elevated the The Colour And The Shape sessions from the DIY approach of Foo Fighters - and the arrival of drummer Taylor Hawkins, following the recording of the album, completed the groups evolution from project to band. Most important were the songs. Monkey Wrench , My Hero, Everlong &, latterly, Walking After You were all UK hits. It was this parade of hits that put Foo Fighters on the path to becoming the Grammy-winning, festival-headlining, indiscriminate ass-kicking machine that we know and love - today.

Nelly Furtado continues to dominate the current pop industry with another catchy song. Te Busque is yet another single performed with another artist, Juanes. The new CDS release from group QNVR offers two version of this forecoming hit: first one is the original, English one and the second file is Spanish version. The release has only 10 MB so everyone can try it and decide whether you like it or not. All of you thinking that this song isn’t that new at all are quite right: Te Busque has been part of Nelly’s latest album Loose.

“Te Busqué” (English: “I Searched for You”) is a pop song written by Canadian singer Nelly Furtado and Colombian musicians Juanes and Lester Mendez for Furtado’s third album, Loose (2006). It features Juanes and was released as the album’s first single in Spain, and as the fourth in Latin America (see 2006 in music). On July 20, 2007, the song will be released as the album’s fifth single in the Netherlands and Germany. In the Netherlands the song was Alarmschijf of the week.

Group SAW continues to dominate the music scene with another amazing release. This thing isn’t actually that new, released already few days ago, but we can’t simply miss release like that: new album Zeitgeist from Smashing Pumpkins! This American alternative rock band was out of business for almost 7 years, so this could be considered as a big return. Their today’s performance at Live Earth festival in New York just confirmed their reunion. This is a must have for all rock fans!

The Smashing Pumpkins have settled on the track list for “Zeitgeist,” the first album since 2000. As previously reported, the album is due July 7 via Martha’s Music/Reprise. A first single has yet to be specified, nor has the makeup of the band beyond original frontman Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. “Is everyone afraid? Has everyone changed?,” Corgan sings on opener “Doomsday Clock,” a big, loud rocker in the vein of “Geek U.S.A.” from “Siamese Dream.” The set is frontloaded with songs of this ilk, hearkening back to the grunge era with detuned guitars and pounding drums on tracks such as “Tarantula,” “Orchid” and “7 Shades of Black.”

Zeitgeist is The Smashing Pumpkins’ official sixth album (excluding Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music, freely distributed via the Internet). German for “The Spirit of the Age,” Zeitgeist was released on July 6, 2007 in certain countries and is set to be released on July 10, 2007 in the United States, although the album was originally slated to be released on July 7, 2007 (i.e. 07/07/07). It will be the first official album to be released under the Smashing Pumpkins name since 2000, and the first new material to be released since two of its original members, vocalist and guitarist Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, reunited in 2005.

Here’s something for all fans of rap music, after the loads of metal stuff. Joe Budden is 27 year old American rapper, totally unknown for me - but this may be caused by my lack of knowledge and interest in this music genre. Anyway, he released only 1 album so far and this new one will be his second. Entitled strangely as “The Album Before The Album”, this album offers a slightly different rap with strong lyrics and a lot of freestyle passages.

Joe Budden is known for his energy, his eclectic lyricism and his emotional wordplay, all of which are showcased on The Album Before The Album. Budden unleashes various thoughts through freestyling, like not fitting in on “Outcast” and helping those less fortunate on “Broken Wing.” He also designs his own mash-up as he borrows the hook and rhythm from “Outside” and flows over it, appropriately entitled “Staind” for the metal band he borrowed the idea from. Budden also adds some heat for the clubs with bangers like “Pop Off” and “Stuntin’,” featuring Coke. With such high energy and creative ideas, it’s clear Joe Budden treated The Album Before The Album like he’s about to release an actual major label album.

Joseph “Joe” Budden (born August 31, 1980) is an American rapper, Born in Spanish Harlem, New York City but lived in Jersey City, New Jersey for most of his life. He has released one album, the self titled Joe Budden. He has worked with artists such as LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Christina Milian, Marques Houston, Angela Via, Fabolous and Israeli rapper Subliminal and has been involved in feuds with rapper The Game and G-Unit. Budden’s lyrical abilty is regarded heavily underrated in many rap circles, however the rapper maintains a strong internet fanbase.

Yet another metal music band comes with their new album. An American band Ministry was founded back in 1981 but remained known only to metal community - in other words, this is and industrial metal, not some commercial music you’ll listen three times a day at your favourite radio station. The album is comprised of remixes from the band’s 2006 album Rio Grande Blood.

Having finished with major labels, Al Jourgensen recently formed a new record label, “13th Planet Records”, with worldwide distribution via noted metal label Megaforce in North America and Soulfood Distribution internationally. In the midst of a vitally prolific stage of his career, Jourgensen has also reformed the Revolting Cocks with a new line-up and a new record, and is set up for a world tour with both bands this spring and summer, lovingly titled “MastabaTouR”.
