Cassandras Dream 2007 LIMITED R5 XViD-BaLD

Group BaLD was quite active in recent weeks and they add another release to their “portfolio” now. Cassandra’s Dream is a limited drama filmed by noone lesser than Woody Allen, starring Ewan McGregor in the main role. This is a type of movie which will be celebrated by one viewer and hated by the other, but that’s the case of most of Allen’s production. This is quite an early R5 rip, the movie entered American cinemas just few weeks ago and won’t appear in the rest of the world until March or April. Standard quality on 1 CD.

Two London brothers are hard-up for cash, and both have girls to look out for, too. When rich Uncle Howard comes to town and agrees to help them out, he admits his finances are under investigation, and he asks them to do him a favor and “take care of” an old business relation to keep his trouble under wraps – he says that they’re family, and since he always takes care of them, the least they could do is help him out this once, as they’re the only ones he can trust. The film follows their struggle with the immorality of this request and how each brother chooses to deal with it.

    This is a great movie, but some people still object to Woody Allen and his unusually young wife who was his daughter.

    If you have no objection to Woody Allen’s personal life, I recommend this movie.

    Yes, Woody was dating Mia Farrow, and Mia had an adopted daughter named Soon-Yi from her first marriage. Well, Mia found that Woody had taken nude photos of Soon-Yi, so she seperated from Woody. Then Woody began dating Soon-Yi once Mia was out of the picture, and he married Soon-Yi in 1997.

    I must correct you, that Soon-Yi was definitely not his biolgical daughter, she was Mia Farrow’s adopted daughter from her marriage to Andre Previn. Also, Woody never adopted Soon-Yi, as he and Mia never married.

    Many people consider this to be a major distinction.

    However, Woody was 56 years old and Soon-Yi was 22 when they announced their relationship. Some people find this disturbing.

    Sometimes the British use words in a sentence that you would think have no relevance to the subject at hand. Such is the situation with the word “pants” in the above comment. Most people think of slacks, jeans, or any type of leg coverings when they hear the word “pants”.

    A more appropriate word to use would have been “rubbish” or “crap” or even “tosh”, but the commenter chose to use “pants”.

    Just another Woody Allen tidbit, his real name is Allen Stewart Konigsberg. He has used “Woody Allen” as a stage name for years.

    He chose the name “Woody” after the famous clarinet player Woody Herman, as Allen has a fondness for jazz, and for playing the clarinet himself in his band, the New Orleans Jazz Band.

    I think the real question is:

    If you consider Woody Allen to be amoral for “seducing” a girl who at the time was under the legal age for sex and was also, by law, in his care (he being an adult living in the household) for several years… Then you must also consider if you want to watch a Woody Allen film that purports to deal with morality. For most of his films he is both writer and director.

    YES she was a bit young when it started but seriously, look on any talk show or in any newspaper these days, its happening everywhere, (most recently a 16 year old in england moved in with her ex-teacher who’s in his 50s) – young women like older men. its not like he used her for sex – they’ve been married 10 years now. seems good to me. i’ve liked his ‘london’ films so far, he’s getting better again for sure.

The “child” in question wasn’t a virgin, was out trolling with a friend to hook up with celebrities and looked amazingly like Polanski’s murdered wife, Sharon Tate. The one who had their baby cut from her belly and her head left on his mantle by the Manson gang. Now you go and be sane after you come home to find that! Even the girl, now a grown woman, has publicly forgiven him and admitted some culpability in the incident.

    @37, the same reason we mention human rights when we mention Bejing Olympics, or rape/assault/battery when we mention Mike Tyson. Just because someone is brilliant, doesn’t mean that their poor choices in life should not affect their reputation or the extent to which we support him/her. It is the whole actions/consequences discussion.

    Considering those examples, I should also add that while disturbing, and somewhat morally questionable, Woody Allen’s decisions obviously are inconsequential when compared to Mike Tyson’s actions and those of the Chinese government!

    Besides… despite his recent work being agreeably cack, his early work is still some of the funniest comedy ever made. :) Unquestionably a comic genius. (Love and death still makes me pee my pants!)

    Yes, they are good for taking care of the house and the children, but they become psychotic very quickly. Just look at Yoko Ono as one example. And the worst part of all is that their kunts are positioned horizontally, just like their eyes.
