WHere is a PROPER of Cass by BaLD because the ROAR release (Click Here) from a few days ago had field shifted frames from a bad source handling. Comparison screen shots here (screen shot is from the NFO). Enjoy!

The incredible true story of how an orphaned Jamaican baby, adopted by an elderly white couple and brought up in an all white area of London, became one of the most feared and respected men in Britain. CASS grew up in a time before political correctness and was forced to endure racist bullying on a daily basis, until one day when the years of pent up anger came out in a violent burst. CASS found through violence the respect he never had and became addicted to the buzz of fighting. His way of life finally caught up with him when an attempted assassination on his life, saw him shot three times at point blank range. His inner strength somehow managed to keep him alive but he was left with a dilemma; whether to seek vengeance as the street had taught him, or renounce his violent past. This is the extraordinary story of his life.

    The roar version is a bit blurry when there is movement, it’s watchable but f you want to archive I would get this release as it’s much clearer

    Movie was boring anyway. Also, for all of the Americans out there it will be difficult for you to understand a lot of the English because of the strong slurred accent. I know I will get flamed for this but what is happening to the English in GB? I worked overseas and spoke with many people from GB and surrounding areas and some of them said they couldn’t understand each other. They didn’t like the American accent but they all said they had no trouble understanding it.

    I just know that a lot of people get defensive over things like that. It was well made and I probably would give it a 5/10 mainly because Americans aren’t really into the football hooligan history. I’ve probably seen most of the movies on the subject but I just don’t get it. Then again, the people over there probably don’t understand the American Crip, Blood and all the other gang movies. I’m sure most Europeans would rate it much higher.

    this is a good movie. I am american, and had no problem understanding the dialogue. The lead actor was good in his portrayal, and I learned some good information about the hooligan culture in the u.k. I would have never thought a black guy would be at the head of one of these gangs, especially considering the times in which he was raised.

    You say that you are 30 minutes into it but you speak of being able to understand it in the past tense – (”i DIDN’T find the dialogue hard to understand”)and then you mean to tell me that you stopped at the 30 minute mark to make subtitles?

    A nearly two hour movie in 700m is against scene rules. And why didn’t Bald inlcude the subs? At least Roar did it right on those two things.

    Sorry but this movie was weak. It might be based on a true story but Football factory was way better, as for Oscar you are a dumb@$$ comparing this to Scarface and Goodfellas? “Rise of the Foot Soldier” is more comparable to the aforementioned. But Cass was lame.
