Thanks for this.
I have used Acronis in the past, but wanted to try this with SmartClone tech. It took 3.5 hours clone my 100 GB drive, and only 15-30 minutes to clone again!
UNFORTUNATELY, the clone will NOT boot up via USB. Do I have to swap out my laptop drive to boot ?
I think Acronis allowed me to boot via USB.
Anyone have any suggestions ?

I've used Acronis a bunch but if you want something with no bloat CASPER is great. I've had zero problems with any disk clone it has done. Of course a FREE option is DriveXML by Runtime software.

If there is any other program similar to Acronis TrueImage I'll choose it. TrueImage is suxx. And it fails much more frequent than Ghost (but now Ghost don't support new hardware, I know =_=)

Did Symantec quit this partition business line? They acquired Partition Magic just to kill it and continued to offer Ghost which is pure crap. Now, Ghost is not updated anymore. Good for us though! :D
