This minor release from iNTiMiD looks like a great flick to watch if you like cute girls, but you would be quite wrong: don’t expect any hot babes in white tops cleaning your front view with sponges (or own breast) as the poster could suggest, although some ladies play their role in this movie. Car Babes is rather a festival comedy about selling cars. Released as 1 CD dvdrip with standard quality.

Ford Davis is fresh out of college and out of a job. After damaging a rental car from his father’s car dealership, Ford is forced into working on the lot as a salesmen until he can pay off his debt to his dad, Big Len. While at the dealership, Ford befriends the other car salesmen, who refer to each other as “CarBabes,” and quickly learns that selling cars is not easy. Meanwhile, a competitor across the street, Ron Hamper of Hamper’s Campers RV Park, has had his eye on the Davis Automotive lot for sometime now. When Ron Hamper sees that Big Len is in financial trouble, he decides to strike and attempts to takeover Davis Automotive and make the dealership into a parking lot for his campers. Using the wisdom he has gained from his father and the rest of the team, Ford comes up with one final plan to save the dealership from impending doom: a blowout sale to sell 300 cars in a month. Impossible? Not if you’re a CarBabe…

    Seems to me the people at RLSLOG don’t know what a festival dvdrip is. It’s a rip of a film that screened at a festival. It doesn’t mean it’s a FESTIVAL FILM. In other words, this is not a “festival comedy”

    Either way it’s Ben Savage. He’s an okay actor. I remember him from Boy Meets World. I’ll give it a shot based on that. But the poster is rather enticing.

    @14 & 15: the video quality is really good but the CAM audio is bad… lots of background noise of people talking to each other in the cinema, and the film audio sounds too muffled.

    Thanks for sharing Pedro, but I’ll wait for a copy with better/clearer audio!

    at Jambo). Mine has the cuts where the audio is missing also… But Mine

    What does the ‘festival’ tag mean with regard to quality?

    Is it lower quality than a retail dvd-rip, or does it just mean that the movie has place at a film festival and doesn’t effect quality?
