Captivity 2007 UNRATED DVDRip XviD-FRAGMENT

It’s a bit quiet today accordingly to new movie releases. But group FRAMENT brings us an Unrated version of the movie Captivity. This unrated version is a bit shorter than the regular, but at least you gonna get more gore! Nothing comes for free :P

Top cover girl and fashion model, Jennifer Tree has it all - beauty, fame, money and power. Her face appears on covers of hundreds of magazines. At the top of her game, Jennifer is America’s sweetheart. She is loved and adored and sought after. Everyone wants her. But someone out there has been watching and waiting. Someone wants her in the worst way.

Out alone at a charity event in Soho, Jennifer is drugged and taken. Held captive in a cell, Jennifer is subjected to a series of terrifying, life-threatening tortures that could only be conceived by a twisted, sadistic mind. It follows the story of one woman who is abducted and tortured, held against her will in a place where days turn into weeks.

So this one is the re-shot and extra bits that make it violent and considered “gorenography”? I downloaded the other version, enjoyed it to some extent but thought it was pretty bad. Has anyone seen both versions, which one’s better and should I get this?

Same question here: Which one is better and should I get this?

That’s weird : it’s only one CD for a 90 min movie with that high resolution + ac3 5.1 @ 448 kbps ? And yet, the samples don’t look bad, except for the wrong aspect ratio (2.47:1 !!!!)

Such a shame that not even the beautiful Elisha Cuthbert can’t save this movie.

to answer the questions it’s an OK film, yes this should be the re-shoot version (as it’s Unrated) the other version had a very heavy police storyline the re-shoot has very little of that…)

and no…unfortunately no Elisha boobs it’s the exact same shot as it is in the first shoot version

It’s just barely okay. Not as bad as the reviews will have you believe but not a good movie either. The U.S cut has better pacing, a GREAT gory acid bath, and doesn’t drag along with a nonsensical police procedural subplot like the Euro version.

Terrible movie! Expecting it to be the same quality as the Saw sequels but it is even worse than them. Boring movie.

It was bad enough that she was being held captive by some sycophant, but she was on her period too. Sucks for her. At least if she gets raped she won’t get pregnant.

How the hell are they going to make a special version shorter than the original… Doesn’t that kinda defeat the point? lol

    November 1st, 2007 | 19:36

they cut out a lot of the junk apparently. So instead of 2 hours of a bad film, you get like 1.5 hours of a slighty less bad film lolz

@15 I think that it’s about time someone started taking control of the cutting room. The problem with these unrated dvd releases are that they cut the movies too long. Most of the time too long means too boring. some scenes are left out because it slows the pace of a movie and strays away from the main plot. The most important thing in editing is Continuity. That is compromised for a couple more f bombs and extra tits. A good example of this is “the 40 Year old Virgin” unrated or “Badder Santa”. Both were good, but the theatrical versions were much better.

I thought this movie was pretty damn good, considering it all takes place in one room. It doesn’t hurt that Elisha is so damn hot.

…just scanned through…this is even a new cut of the Film (I saw it in the cinema, the UK release) the ending is now longer…with a bit more storyline

so that’s at least 3 version’s of one film…Soft, Hard and er…Harder (that a whole other film by itself ;))

What I still can’t believe is that this was directed by Roland Joffe, the man responsible for such epics as ‘The Killing Fields’ and ‘The Mission’.

He must have pissed away all his money to be doing this mediocre, predictable, commercialist guff. :-|

I wish people could talk less about the movie quality and more about the video/audio quality!

    @ Janine Pegg,

What do you expect people to say regards video/audio?

How about checking the samples or looking at the uudio/video bitrate.

It’s a DVDrip with AC3 5.1 sound, so Video=10, Audio=10, which should be assumed unless someone points out different.

Also, wishes are for fairytales - this is reality (sort of). :-|
