Nice n fast! 5starts. Havent watched yet but she is hot! I remember a new story about them having to take down the movie banners because it was too much for public viewing or something.
Is this the first cut or the second though, because they made this movie a little while back and from what i was reading it was really horrible, but then they totally remade the movie and brought it to the big screens. Apparently the first make is really horrible and the remade movie it actually a lot better. After dark films picked this movie up and remade it and made it a whole lot better. Anyway just curious if anyone knows which version this is?

if you check on imdb this movie was released on russia on march first, so this is probably a r5, also i hope that is the latter version of the film, if they did it release it at russia i don’t think they would’ve put out the rough cut of the film, or at least i hope so!
does anyone know if this comes with subtitles? if it did that’d be awesome
last thing i’m adding before i get out, the movie is getting released on spain in 2 more days (11 of july) because it was released on Spain on march 9 so it’s very likely that this is a dvd rip.movie was released in spain under the title of Cautivos.

it was horrible. one of the worst movies ive ever seen.
i hope that what i saw was the “1st cut”. and that this rls is the 2nd cut.

this is the so called “1st cut” cuz none of the gory stuff i read about is in this one. still worth watching thanks to elisha and her.. hehe

none of the gore? that’s weak. i just watched those scenes on you tube and they’re lame gore scenes anyway so i guess i will just watch it to see her fantastic qualities. lol.
Apparently this is the Spanish cut of the film and has a lot of gore cut out. More like cut for a PG13 certificate type cut so I would avoid it if you are a horror fan, it seems they have ruined it with this release.
….so judging by the NFO this is the first cut as it’s longer (92mins) than the 2nd official cut which is around 84mins, as from what I’ve read they have taken out a lot of things that were not needed (nothing to do with gore, just police scenes etc) plus they re-shot some scenes (which won’t be in this cut) I’m gonna go see this tomorrow as it’s the last showing in the one cinema that is showing it.
I hope that the NFO is wrong….but I doubt it.
The NFO isn’t wrong. I have a shitty cam of the American version, which is more tense with more torture/gore and now this, which is the European version with NO gore and a lot more police scenes that seem to go on forever.
Now all we need is a screener of the American version.

Oh well, it’s good to have both versions of a film, to see what has been changed, I’m surprised that a DVD quality rip of the first cut is out….but it explains why it’s out so quick (if you know what I mean)
There wasn’t 2 versions of this film. It was never changed from the original, the big stink was about the subject matter and the movie posters, which depicted Elisha Cuthbert being tied up/tortured/killed.

there are two different cuts for this film. this is the european one, i’m very certain of this.i checked subtitles for both versions and they are totally different, this version is seven minutes longer.

NOTE: This is a review of the original cut as shown at the 2006 Sitges Film Festival. The film has since gone through mammoth re-shoots with a new ending being part of that. That’s good news! Hopefully it’s now a better film (shouldn’t be too hard to achieve being that the original cut blew dongs).

ok for the record theres never been a cam with the “american” version the official release date for theater was in august but they bumped it up to friday july 13, 2007 try and guess why so it is still possible that this version will be the one in theaters this friday who knows where the cam is from???
the cam’s probably from the uk which received the same copy that the us.

i dont think it is the whole film because on apple movie trailers they show bits thant are not in this release
apart from that the quality is exellent
Basically, if you want to see a decent movie, avoid this at all costs, because it really sucks bad…
If u liked SAW and Hostel, you will probably find simillarities in this one, but in their worst version. If u are fans of gore, then there is no gore in this. U could use some good laughs though, so go ahead and watch. There are some ridicullous things in the script, and all in all it just does not give what the billboards promise…
Maybe they should have made some more of these billboards!!!

if, on the other hand u decide to dowmnload, i have to admit that the quality of the release is great, so is the sound, but thats all there is to it.
